MS O’Neil has a special voice that brings out the emotions, feelings, humour and love from her characters and the beauty of the setting, she draws you in from the first page makes you feel part of the story, feel like friends with the characters so as you just keep turning those pages to get to the finish and find such happiness.
Dr Kali O’Shea has taken a locum’s position for one month on The Isle of Dunregan Scotland never expecting to lose her heart to her brooding gorgeous boss Dr Brodie McClellan. Kali has a past that is kept secret but is positive and she is always looking on the bright side she sees the good in everything even with the past she has. Kali is so drawn to Brodie when she meets him that she is willing to open up which is unlike her, but she is here to help with the practise.
Dr Brodie McClellan is home to the Island that he has always wanted to leave he has returned after the death of his father to take over the practise at least for a year but he has also just returned from working in Africa and the Ebola virus so now needs another Doctor to help with patients that are not too eager to see him. But when he meets Kali there are going to be a lot of changes in his life for the better you see Kali will make a difference.
This really is a fabulous story with so much going on, medical dramas that show courage and strength and a journey together for Kali and Brodie to find love and a home together to find truths and for two people running they have both won their race to be together in love and happy. This is a must read story truly you will smile and cry but in the end you will be jumping for joy and sighing. I loved this one thank you MS O’Neil for another keeper.
