It is no secret that I do love a good desert Prince story and this one ticked all of the boxes for a great story, handsome caring prince and a strong and caring heroine, Sharif has lots of pressures on him at the moment and is taking some time out in the desert, when a terrible sand storm brings him Doctor Lauren Stephens the attraction is instant, but love never runs smoothly.

Lauren has been volunteering in Karesh as a surgeon when she discovers a cache of illegal weapons and knows that she must get out as soon as possible, but her escape also coincides with a sand storm and she is soon in terrible danger from that until she is rescued by Bedouin Herder, Sharif, sheltering in the tent soon opens up to a lot more.

The pressure to marry and take over ruling the country is hard on Sharif and none of the woman he has met cause a spark but when he meets Lauren things change and very quickly, after spending a few nights in each other’s arms Sharif is suddenly called back to the capital and the short affair they agreed to is over but Sharif cannot forget the beautiful Lauren.

Both get on with their lives but not for long when Sharif discovers something about Lauren and he now knows he must find her and convince her to marry him, but Lauren is not so easy to convince. Their journey is and up and down one filled with beautiful sensuality and strong convictions about love and trust and honesty and this is a story that I would highly recommend to any romance reader who loves to be swept away in a passionate journey.
