The start of a new series and the story of returning soldiers who have lost a leader a close friend, Jace they each are determined to make their friends last wishes come true, first home is Remington Cross (Remy) who is going to do his best for Jace’s best friend and her child but soon he sees that he will be changing his life forever.
Being back in Marietta opens up many memories for Remy and he is determined to meet and help where he can with Jace’s godchild but first he meets the beautiful bartender at The Graff, Shane and his life is changing fast and for the better.
Shane Knight loves her job but she is a counselor at heart and meeting the very handsome ex-soldier sees her understanding him and soon they are working together to ensure that young Arlo is looking forward to a happy future after all she has been through, but this also means that Shane’s heart is opening up to a world of happiness.
This one is a very emotional story as the author digs deep into both Remy and Shane’s emotions we see them dig deep and open up so as they can put the past behind them and look to a future of happiness and family, Remy has come home and found the love and happiness he deserves. I would highly recommend this one and I am looking forward to the nest book in the series.
