I know when I pick up a Mel A Rowe book that I am going to be taken on a fabulous journey to The Northern Territory and that I will meet some fabulous characters that I will love and be cheering on and this book was no exception, I loved it from the first word, the book was so hard to put down as I got to know Sienna and Jake and the awesome characters who live at The Station, this is a must read book.
Sienna is leaving her past behind and helping out a friend, this will be a first for chef Sienna, moving to a cattle station the size of Greenland in the Northern Territory, she has never had much to do with animals of any description but now finds herself living with cattle, horses, dogs and cattlemen and not much Wi-Fi either, but she is determined to fulfill her promise to her friend Rhonda.
Jake is doing everything her can to bring The Station through some bad times, being The Boss was something that he never wanted but life has other plans for him, he is living with his father, Bob, sister Jess and her twins and life is hard. Then the new relief cook shows up and suddenly life is changing again, will it be for the best?
This book is so awesome, it is filled with fun, humour and buckets of emotion, Sienna rocks after everything she has been through her attitude and love of life will have you smiling and cheering her one nothing phases her, she is getting under the skin of so many people at The Station and then Jake what a guy so much going on in his life but will he break rules to find the happiness he so very much deserves?
This is a book not to be missed, book one of the series and I can’t wait for book two in another months’ time, the setting is beautiful, I loved my trip to The Northern Territory, and of course the characters that make this story rock. Thank you MS Rowe for another brilliant story.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
