What a beautiful story this one is Michelle Douglas has taken me on a magical journey to Switzerland at Christmas time with a castle (even though it isn’t fortified) introduced me to Ruby and Luis, I smiled, I cheered them on and I was swept away in the joy of love.
Ruby is from Sydney Australia and is on a conference in Vegas she has worked very hard to be made partner in the law firm, when she is passed over for the promotion she meets Luis in the bar and confides to him so Luis turns her disappointment into fun and laughter, what a party it is but then it turns to shock when she wakes up married to Luis.
Luis proposes a deal that will help both of them, Ruby with her confidence and her workplace and help him to discover why all of a sudden his parents want him to marry if she comes to Switzerland for Christmas, they decide on a plan, but one condition is that they are not to fall in love with each other, only pretend, it is to be a marriage on paper only.
This romance has everything that a romance should have, fabulous characters, a gorgeous setting, it is filled with emotion, it is fun, witty and so very romantic, I loved Luis and Ruby so much both of them are caring and loving people, who were vulnerable, they met at the perfect time. This one had me turning the pages and I didn’t want it to end, a must read.
I do highly recommend this one, it has left me sighing with delight, and there were so many happy tears, thank you Michelle Douglas for another keeper, my trip to Switzerland will stay with me for a long time.
