Picking up a new Elsie Creek story and It feels like a visit with family and friends, I love this town and the people who live there so much, this one sees us getting to know Cecil even more than we did and getting to know bottle shop Luke and flower girl Jordi both have issues that they prefer to keep to themselves, will these issues bring them together?

Floriculturist Jordi, keeps to herself as she delivers the flowers throughout the outback, having been through a tragedy that changed her life, her work with flowers the romance of them all is what keeps her going. For a year now she has been dropping in the bottle shop to ask Luke for directions and yes she does have a crush but is happy to keep it that way, until she delivers flowers to Luke’s home and is met by Cecil who wants to get to know her better or is just for her flowers and his grandmother Esther that crush just might be changing.

Luke comes from a well-known Elsie Creek family, although things have changed for The Bennett family Luke stays here with his beloved grandmother Esther and their pet water buffalo Cecil. Getting to know Jordi better with her weekly visits to the bottle shop is making Luke very happy and when the richest fishing contest is announce, Luke wants to have a go at winning but he will need someone to watch over his grandmother, will he be able to talk Jordi into doing it?

Every new Elsie Creek story just gets better, what can I say, Luke and Jordi have a past that links them even if only one knows it at first, but time spent together opens up desires that will see them feel that connection in so many ways, but as is the way of life true love does not always run smoothly and Luke and Jordi have a few hurdles to jump first.

I loved this one so much besides how awesome Luke and Jordi are getting to know Esther and Cecil so much better was fabulous, Esther made me laugh and smile as she did her best to ensure that Luke and Jordi found the love they most deserved and who doesn’t love Cecil.

The setting is awesome, the characters are wonderful and this is a story that I do highly recommend, Mel A Rowe never fails to bring her characters and this town to life is such a way so as the reader will feel a part of the story, don’t miss this one I smiled, I laughed I cheered them on there were happy tears as well and I can’t wait for my next visit to Elsie Creek.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
