If you love a good romance then you cannot go wrong with a Barbara Hannay story, this one is beautiful, set on Sapphire Island we get to meet Claire Eden and Jack Dysart and Leo, come along and meet them.
Claire rushed to be by her sister’s side nearly one year ago now as she gave birth to her son Leo but soon Claire is bringing up Leo alone, adhering to her sister’s wishes she has moved from her busy lifestyle in Brisbane to live in Flora’s cottage on Sapphire Island and is loving it but things change very quickly with the arrival of a cyclone and Leo’s father.
Jack, adventurous playboy is back in Australia and thinks it would be good to catch up with Flora on Sapphire Island he spent some time with her eighteen months ago, but he arrives just before a cyclone and when he arrives at the cottage, he finds Flora’s sister, Claire and her son, who is a single mum, his caring nature steps in and soon he is helping prepare for the cyclone.
Claire was worried from the first meeting, she knew the truth had disagreed with Flora, but had kept her wishes and as the night wore on Jack soon added up the math and came to the conclusion that young Leo was his son, emotions flared but there could be no denying the spark that flared between them after one turbulent night, will they come to terms with everything and look to the future for the three of them, families mean so much to them both.
This is a fabulous romance, fabulous characters and a gorgeous setting and one I highly recommend will they go with their heads or hearts?
