There have been big changes in Chad and Ash’s lives since the last book and Chad is now back working in the town of Sergis only not as police chief but as assistant basketball coach at the local high school and working undercover with the FBI to help pull down a network of corruption which was what caused Chad to leave the job he loved and as for Ash after all that happened in Atlantic City with her half-brothers she is now doing something that goes against everything she feels but saving lives is also what she does and she now finds herself caught up with the wrong type of people and doing things she never thought she would.
Chad finds that he is loving his new position and working with the kids helps him so much and pulling the network down appears to be moving along well and Ash is feeling the pressure will she be able to pull herself out of the place she is in before things get too bad?
This is another fabulous story in this series that I am loving and of course Chad and Ash are such awesome characters, the ending was fabulous and set the scene for the next book in the series and I can’t wait to read it, this is a fabulous romantic suspense that had me turning the pages and it is one that I would highly recommend but read them in order to get to know Ash and Chad.
