MS Heaton pens a story that is sure to keep the reader engaged and cheering her characters on in their journey to a HEA and this one is up there with the best, a fabulous story of second chances when there has been a lot that has happened to both Ellie and Logan and now is their time to rekindle that love that never died.
Ellie Jones has lost a lot in her lifetime already and has started on a new journey to become a doctor and one of her placements takes her to a neonatal ICU, she knows she may struggle here but is determined to get through it, but when the mentor she was supposed to meet is replaced with someone from her past, Logan Riley, this sets a lot of emotions on edge.
Logan Riley is a good doctor he loves working with the babies in the NCIU, he has been through a lot and is now a single dad to an autistic daughter, so life has to be well organized, he is shocked when he arrives to meet his the student he will be mentoring to find that it is Ellie the girl he loved and left to study, will they be able to work together without emotions getting in the way.
This really is a beautiful moving story, both Ellie and Logan had never really gotten over each other even though both had married other people but with them both being single and then after an accident pulled them together that left consequences and Logan worrying over how things would work out, their journey to a beautiful HEA finally arrived, Ellie shows such strength throughout this story after all she has been through and Logan is just what she needs, this is a story that I do highly recommend for anyone who loves a good romance
