This is Book One of the mini-series “The Scandalous Campbell Sisters”.
Elspeth Campbell is shy and has a social handicap which means
she is reluctant to go out in public and socialize much. But she is part of a
twinset! Her identical twin sister is a social butterfly. And when her sister
asks her to swap places for a weekend, though reluctant, she agrees.
But she had not counted on the attraction flaring up between
her and Mack MacDiarmid and on him finding out she is not who she says she is.
Then her cover is blown.
Would Mack support her now? What happens when he finds out the
secret she is hiding?
SHY INNOCENT IN THE SPOTLIGHT is a sizzling romance. Author
Melanie Milburne wrote this beautiful story. Despite the circumstances, Mack is
an emotional man, and dedicated to those around him. Elspeth is delightful,
graceful, and a determined woman who brings out the best in everyone around her.
Readers would be hooked to the pages till the end and root for these two
characters to get to their happy ever after.
Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

There is nothing better than sitting down with a good romance and knowing that you are going to be smiling at the end and Melanie Milburne always makes me feel this way. Her stories are filled with emotion and they sizzle when the right people find the love that will last a lifetime, I loved getting to know Elspeth and Mack.
Elspeth is an identical twin, their personalities though are totally different, chalk and cheese Elspeth is quiet and shy, her sister is confident and strong but when Elspeth is asked to swap places with her for a glamourous wedding, Elspeth meets the handsome Mack and for the first time ever Elspeth decides that going for what she wants is what should happen and a whole new sensual world opens up for her.
Mack has been through a lot in his life, he has seen what lies and love can do to a person and there is no way he is going to lose his heart to anyone, but at the weeding for his brother he meets a socialite who doesn’t appear to be what she seems and he is determined to get to the bottom of it but losing his heart was not what he planned.
The spark between Elspeth and Mack lights up the highlands at their first meeting and continues as they get to know each other in a crofters hut in so many ways, Mack opens up a new world for Elspeth but she wants more and Mack is sticking to his rules of a short fling, until an allergy makes him start to think that life could be a lot better with Elspeth by his side. A fabulous story that had me turning the pages, one that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a sensual romance.
