Amy Andrews certainly knows how to put the sexy sizzle in her stories, and bring her characters to life, we are in Marietta to meet newcomer to town Vivian Dawson as she opens up a new chocolate shop Delish, Viv is opening up the shop in competition with long- time resident and chocolate shop owner Sage O’Dell and there are a few sparks flying around town but not as many sparks as what fly between Viv and Sheriff’s deputy Rueben Price.
Vivian spends a night in Bozeman and meets the most incredible man in a bar and their one and only night together is magical but Vivian is a traveler and not looking for permanent and life must move for her, she will be back in Marietta in six weeks to open the new store never thinking that she will meet up with Rueben again but staying away from him is impossible.
Vivian loves her job at Delish and travelling and opening up new stores around the country, she is a woman who knows what she wants and goes out and gets it not afraid of competition she is in Marietta to set up the new store which she knows will have big competition and she doesn’t get a good welcome from the town and sets up a competition to decide the best hot chocolate which will be decided on the annual Christmas stroll through town.
Rueben Price was born and raised in Marietta but has been working in Bozeman when he is picked up in a bar by the most gorgeous of women their night together is off the charts in so many ways like nothing before, but when he is sent to Marietta for three months and the gorgeous Vivian is there life is looking good but she is adamant that they can only be together for the six months that she is in town love and a future is not in her life, can he safeguard his heart to loving Vivian?
I loved this story, Amy Andrews never disappoints with her easy to know characters and the sizzle that she brings to the pages, it is witty, fun down right sexy as hell and an awesome story that sees both Vivian and Rueben losing their hearts to each other in a romance that had me turning the pages and cheering them both on and who doesn’t love a trip to Marietta. This is one that I would highly recommend hot enough to melt the snow in Marietta, and it has all of the emotions that fabulous romance should have.
