Another great story in this series, I do love a good mystery with wonderful characters and Annie Seaton has done just that, come along and see what transpires when Grant Cummings returns to Bindarra Creek to check something out his sister has asked him to do, could it lead to danger or happiness, or maybe both?

Cathy Kendall has lived in Bindarra Creek all of her life, she went to the local high school got caught up in a not so good crowd for a while and is now the single mum to two gorgeous kids Billie and Josie, since their father Russ vanished ten years ago they have been living with Russ’s parents but now they are moving back into River Cottage the place that holds bad memories for Cathy, to make matters worse bones are discovered during renovations, there is danger ahead.

Grant is a landscaper and is one of the workers at river cottage, he knows Cathy from school but keeps to himself he has his reasons but the more he gets to know Cathy better the more he is worried especially when the family seem to be in danger from someone from the past His feelings about a lot of things are changing and he is losing his heart to Cathy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and felt invested in it so much that I was trying to change Cathy’s mind with some of the actions she took, but Grant is a wonderful hero and just the person Cathy and the kids needed after all they have been through, a great mystery and some old questions answered. I do recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a good romantic suspense.
