We met Trista, in the first book in this series and I really liked her and wanted to see her find love again after losing her husband seven years before and when she literally runs into Logan Fox in a barn, will this be the start of something new?
Logan Fox is blacksmith and horse whisperer and a very well respected man in Last Stand, he is quiet and likes his privacy, his childhood has shaped him this way and finding love is not something that he feels he deserves but when he meets Trista Thorpe Carhart he feels at ease with her like with no one else.
Both Logan and Trista are very interested in history and while on outings to the local historical sites they run into each other and soon they realise that there is bond growing between them, they are so in tune with each other, will Trista be able to break down the walls that Logan has built around his heart and show him that they can love, will Trista be able to finally say goodbye to her late husband and look to the future?
This is a lovely, lovely romance, emotional, moving and heart-warming as Logan and Trista find their way to love and along the way the author has taken me on a magical tour of Texas, I loved the setting and the characters and it is one that I highly recommend to any reader of a good romance.
