ONE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS by author Susan Carlisle is a Harlequin Medical Romance series release for November 2015.

Sports physician Melanie Hyde was just one of the team. She was not respected or her opinion valued by her Dad, the team manager. So he calls for a second opinion on his injured star player. Then Dr. Dalton Reynolds flies in. Sparks ignite when Melanie meets Dalton. And they give in to their passion, when Melanie has to look after him.

Could she melt Dalton’s heart and make him stay for good? Would Dalton even stay till Christmas?

ONE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS is an emotional romance set near Niagara Falls. I loved the setting and the environmental information was soaked up by me. I visited a new place in this book! Author Susan Carlisle wrote about this damaged hero who didn’t know about commitment or love. It was pleasure to read how Melanie brought Dalton to his knees!

Highly recommended for all readers of medical romance.

you love medical romances and you love sport then this is the book you should read this one had me turning the pages as Sports Doctor Melanie Hyde who has always been known as one of the guys meets orthopaedic surgeon Dalton Reynolds when he is bought in to give a second opinion on one of the star NFL players this starts a journey that will keep you smiling the banter is fabulous and it is set in such a beautiful spot Niagara Falls at Christmas time.

Melanie has grown up in a mans world and NFL football is all the go she lost her Mum when she was young and that left her father and three brothers and with her father being a coach well when she decided to become a Doctor she went the sports medicine way because that is what her father wanted she is loving caring and beautiful and has had a few bad relationships with people using her so she is single and works hard but things change when Dalton arrives in Niagara.

Dalton grew up in foster care he was always smart and was teased about it but he made something of his life and is now a top orthopaedic surgeon in Miami where it is always warm but he is also a loner and keeps to himself works quietly doing what he can for everyone but when he meets Dr Melanie Hyde in Niagara there is a spark which he may also need to keep him warm in such a cold place.

This is a fabulous story it is moving and very heart-warming as Dalton and Melanie get closer and notice a lot about each other you will laugh smile and yep shed a few tears as this couple let loose on some truths to each other which in the end help so much and what a wonderful HEA they have I have to say I love my sport and my medical romances and when added together this means an awesome story that I highly recommend I loved this one the characters are so real they come to life on the pages.

Susan Carlisle’s latest emotionally charged medical romance One Night Before Christmas is a short and absorbing read. It doesn’t linger much on the medical angle but the story is sustained with the drama in the lives of the characters. Football also plays a key point in keeping the book interesting. Dr. Dalton Reynolds travels to New York to evaluate a patient. He arrives with determination to finish the job and leave as soon as he is done. But he does not expect distraction in the form of Dr. Melanie Hyde. Even though their initial meeting had not gone so well, fate brings them together under unexpected circumstances. But with the baggage they both carry, Melanie and Dalton finds comfort in each other’s arms…(I don’t want to give any spoilers here.)

A good story that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. I read it in less than six hours!
