This is a great romance with suspense a story that shows how too very different people can come together when there is a bit of danger lurking, famous mystery author Ethan James is a bit of a recluse he is a single dad to Daisy and a bit over protective of the people he loves then there is nurse Leah Dixon who goes out of her way to care for as many people as she can one positive one negative but their attraction cannot be denied for too long as they work together to help Ethan’s ex-wife and Daisy’s mother.
Leah is forever the carer and that is why nursing is so important to her after losing her grandmother when she was young she vowed to care for people and her career comes first, but on a cold night walking home from work she finds a child on the beach and when she returns her to her father writer Ethan James her life is about to be turned upside down and maybe it is time that Leah though of her personal life.
Ethan has moved to Templeton Cove so as he can keep his daughter safe and keep his career going as a famous writer he is essentially a loner and after his wife walked out on him and Daisy years before he is even more protective of Daisy but when his ex-wife Anna arrives back in their lives with big problems following, nurse Leah steps in and turns his emotions inside out.
This story has a lot happening in it a romance between Leah and Ethan is not a smooth journey there is a lot to overcome for both of them and of course there is Daisy to think of and with threats and bad guys getting involved emotions run high. I really did enjoy this one it is the first time I have read one of MS Brimble’s stories but it won’t be the last I do highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a good romance with a great suspense thrown in the characters are engaging and I loved getting to know them.

ETHAN’S DAUGHTER
by author Rachel Brimble is August 2017 release by Harlequin Super Romance
series.
Nurse Leah Dixon
is your average caring personality. She is a carer. A nurturer. So when she came
across a small child alone on the beach, she was seriously pissed off. And took
off to give the parents a piece of her mind. Yet, when she came face-to-face
with single dad, reclusive writer Ethan James, and saw he needed medical
attention, she goes into her caring mode and stitches him up.
But Ethan doesn’t
want his past to endanger his daughter or Leah’s lives. So he tries to keep a
distance from her. But to no avail as there is chemistry between them and
passion flares up.
What will
eventually happen when the past Ethan tries to keep away from, catches up with
them all?
ETHAN’S DAUGHTER is
a sweet romance with some mystery and suspense thrown in. I loved reading this
story. Ethan, though a sensitive guy is bull-headed at times. And Leah is a
strong personality. Author Rachel Brimble brought this story filled with
tension and drama. I finished this story in one sitting, as I was eager to
discover what happened next.
Highly
recommended for all readers of romance.
