Another fabulous installment in this series, the people of Bindarra Creek are survivors, no matter what knocks them down they get back up and Meg Moonie is determined to carry on her grandmother’s legacy and keep the Bindarra Creek museum going hopefully with the help of news correspondent Jack Hughes.

Meg has recently lost her beloved grandmother Mary Moonie and there are suspicions about her death and the suspect has taken off, before her death Mary had organized for a news reporter to come and do a piece on the museum and town hoping to gain a donation and interest in the rebuilding, so when the very handsome and popular Jack Hughes arrives Meg is wary after her last encounter with a news reporter, but Jack seems different and keeping her heart intact is a lot harder as they work together.

Jack is not happy about being sent to the small town but with a scandal hovering over him it is best to do what his boss asks to save his reputation, the first person he meets is the beautiful Meg and her openness and honesty is hard to ignore and as they spend more time together trying to locate the suspect in her grandmother’s death the more the pull between them grows, Jack has never felt this way before about a woman or a small country town with a big heart.

I love how MS Kees has made me feel part of this town, I can feel the emotions of not only Meg and Jack but of the town folk that I have gotten to know, I feel their love for the town and each other. I loved seeing the chemistry between Meg and Jack grow, the sensual pull ignite and the need to be together grow stronger, the ending was just so beautiful there were so many happy tears. I loved this story it has everything in it, suspense, a bit of magic and a gorgeous romance, this is one that I highly recommend.
