There is nothing like falling into one of Amy Andrews’s stories, this author knows how to pull her readers in with emotional stories and strong characters who are very easy to love and getting to know Harper and Yarran was such a joy, come along to see how maybe love can get a second chance.
Dr. Harper Jones has returned to Sydney after fleeing to England many years ago, there were reasons she fled but it is now time to take on her new position as Head of ER at Sydney Central, she never expected to run into her first love Yarran on her first intense day at work, what’s more she never realised that her heart would jump the way it did.
Yarran Edwards is a firefighter and now a single dad to Jarrah who is just about to turn four, he knew that Harper was back but running into her was still heart stopping, lots of things have changed since she left all those years ago, but she still sets his heart on fire after all these years, but he has a lot more to think of these days.
It is soon obvious that the spark is still there and one night that should have been the only one sets them both on a road to finding love again, did they ever stop loving each other all those years ago? I loved this story and highly recommend it, it is sensual and filled with emotion and told so beautifully by Amy Andres, don’t miss this one.
