Another lovely visit to Bellbird Bay, it is getting close to Christmas and we meet a couple of new faces Sandy Elliott and Rob Andrews, come along for a wonderful visit and catch up with friends.
Sandy a divorced mother of a teenage daughter, Fliss is just starting up a new business in Sydney when fire destroys her new business and hopes, worrying about what to do she gets a call from her grandmother’s old friend Ruby in Bellbird Bay, will she be able to come and help her after she is knocked of her bike. Sandy jumps at the chance and soon she and Fliss are arriving in Bellbird Bay to help Ruby.
Rob grew up in Bellbird Bay but joined the army as soon as he could, but Afghanistan has taken its toll on him, he is back home now and has opened up Bay Bikes and is doing well although he is still haunted by nightmares, looking for love is not on the cards for him, but when he meets new comer Sandy he is starting to wonder if maybe there could be love.
Sandy is not a lover of beards or tattoos however Sandy and Rob seem to cross paths a lot and the pull between them is growing, but can Rob put his past and guilt behind him to look to the future and will Sandy be able to run her company Celebrations here in Bellbird Bay?
This one is an emotional story that had me turning the pages, I really felt for Rob and I think that Sandy is the best person to help him look to the future, I do highly recommend this story and the series, I loved it, and there is such a beautiful and romantic ending.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review,
