We are back in North Yorkshire and Embthwaite Farm and this time is it Harriet’s turn to find love and happiness, I felt for Harriet in the first book and I am hoping that she will find the man of her dreams and let her heart fly.
Now that Rachel is home and helping look after their father it is time to put the past behind and look to the future that is not easy for Harriet who is trying hard to start her small business Embthwaite Treats get off the ground, not easy when she feels insecure and has not a lot of confidence. So it takes a lot for Harriet to cook up some samples of her Christmas cookies and arrive at the manor house being renovated by the mystery millionaire to see if they would be interested in buying her treats. Her first visit does not go well but at least she got there.
Quinn Taylor has put everything into the renovations of the manor house he is making a big change in his life after all that happened after selling his gaming company, but he is thrilled to see the lovely lady he danced with not long ago, and decides that her cookies are yummy, he arrives at the farm and soon Harriet is lifting his confidence and friendship is growing.
This is a beautiful story, Harriet and Quinn are so similar in so many ways and they give each other strength and purpose, they are so good for each other and their hearts are opening up, but there are a few hurdles to overcome if they are going to get their HEA.
This is one that I do highly recommend, wonderful characters, a lovely Christmas setting, it is sure to bring a smile to any romance reader.
