If you love a Christmas story then this is one to pick up, Jane Porter has taken me on a beautiful romantic journey, set in an English village and estate, Ella Roberts arrives to spend Christmas with her sister and brother in law the Earl and Countess of Sherbourne she is all set to enjoy her time there and explore the old country estates, and she is looking forward to spending time in the historic cottage on the estate, she didn’t think she would have to share that cottage with her brother in law’s best man.
Baird McLauren has come to stay at his best friend’s home to help where needed, he has set up in the cottage, he was never expecting to be spending so much time with Ella Roberts the woman he met only once, kissed only once but who seems to have stayed with him since, through no fault of his own they are now sharing the cottage, will he be able to stay true to his idea of staying single?
This is a beautifully told story, two people drawn together after one meeting and one kiss, Ella strong and determined and Baird also determined that he will not marry, he has seen too much hurt in his job, will Ella be able to break down the walls he has built to see them find the true love and happiness that they both deserve?
I do highly recommend this one, fabulous characters a beautiful setting, this one is sure to leave any romance reader smiling.
