This is such a beautiful story, it is witty, emotional and just the best as is what Fiona McArthur always delivers along with some wonderful midwifery stories, come along to the Midcoast Hospital and meet Poppy and Jake.
Poppy is a midwife who loves to use holistic approach to her job and she does really well she has been through a bad marriage and has now built back her confidence and swears never to marry again but when new paediatrician Dr. Jake Shepherd arrives the spark is there immediately.
Jake has left his city life behind to move to Midcoast hospital he is grieving his brother’s death and his wife’s and wants to find the woman who supposedly helped his brother through his last weeks with her alternative methods but when he arrives he meets vibrant and beautiful midwife Poppy and well this could change his life.
It is not long after their fist meeting which included sparks that they realise that there is a chemistry between them but can Poppy turn Jake towards her alternative methods will he stay firm, the more time they spend together the sensual pull grows and soon they are doing more than talking but when consequences arrive and Poppy finds herself pregnant will they put their pasts behind them and look to the future to become a family?
I loved this one from start to finish, Poppy and Jake are awesome and highly recommend it a gorgeous romance and I look forward to the next one.
