This is such a great story, I loved meeting poor rich girl and socialite Quinn Appleton, who has her world torn apart in so many ways on that terrible Christmas Day by matriarch of the Appleton family and her grandmother, her life was perfect boyfriend, lots of friends beautiful clothes and a fantastic car, but was it really perfect?

The Appleton’s have been operating one of the largest biscuit empires for over one hundred years and Lady Elizabeth Appleton is running it all supposedly with the help of her family, three children and three grandchildren who aren’t pulling their weight and when one scandal after another hits the media Lady Elizabeth is determined to change things and makes a huge announcement on Christmas Day that will change everything, she has cut off their money and taken back their cars things are going to change.

Quinn is left with nothing no job, her Ferrari is gone and soon the roof over her head as well, she has boxes of designer clothes and shoes but that is it, when Gran gives her an ultimatum, a requirement to re-instate the trust fund, that is to work at the factory for six months but not as Quinn she must become Amy Sinclair and she must not tell anyone who she is. Quinn is determined to prove that she can do this, she wants her car, her lifestyle and her money back.

Quinn soon finds out that working in the factory and getting to know her workmates is a lot different to what she expected and is soon feeling good about it all although she is dreadfully worried about her father and Gran is giving nothing away on that front, the room she is renting in a rundown house is nothing like she is used to but soon her flat mate Scott is becoming a friend and helping her and listening to her about certain things without giving anything away.

This book has so many emotions running through it, Quinn has a lot to learn and really surprised me how she came through and how strong she really is, there is a lot going on in this story it is fast paced and will keep you turning the pages, it is a romance, some suspense, contemporary and an all-round fabulous story one that I would highly recommend. So many fabulous characters in this one that added to the story, I really enjoyed seeing Quinn realise that life as a socialite is not the best life and she can make a difference. Don’t miss this one.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
