THE DARKEST OF SECRETS by author Kate Hewitt is a Mills & Boon Modern/Harlequin Presents release for May 2012.

Escaping her disastrous past Grace Turner tried hard to remake herself and made a name as an assessor of renaissance paintings.

After inheriting his dead father’s company, business tycoon Khalis Tannous just wanted to sell off everything. Then he comes across some valuable paintings which he suspected were stolen. He hired the best assessor there was. And the best in the business was Grace.

She was good at her job but couldn’t trust Khallis to do the right thing. And the attraction between them was off the richter scales! Why wouldn’t Grace let themselves explore the simmering attraction between them? Why was she afraid? Who was pulling Grace’s strings? And Khallis definitely wanted to explore what was between them, yet why was Grace resisting? If Grace opens up her heart to him, would Khallis forgive and forget?

THE DARKEST OF SECRETS has a unique premise. Author Kate Hewitt tackled a taboo subject of infidelity in a marriage and wove this story as a dramatic, at times heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting story about taking chance on love’s devastating choices, redemption and triumphing against the odds which will make readers smile as well as shed tears.

My rating 4.5 out of 5 stars.
