Everyone knows I am a serious Sarah Morgan addict, so of course I yelled out my joy when the final of the Puffin Island series reached me,. Every Sarah Morgan book is like receiving that one special gift that will always be with you.

And this Christmas read will certainly always be with me as one of the best reads in the romance world. This time we get the low down on Skylar , she has never understood Alec Hunter's appeal, so what if he's a world renowned historian, who cares! He's cynical, aloof and determined to think the worst of her.

Then a twist of fate leaves Skylar having to spend Christmas with Alec's  family and of course she's not thinking of this as being a merry affair or starry and bright either. That is until she get's into the festive mood.

Alec has learned the hard way to not trust beautiful woman, and Skylar is by far the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on, then as he watches her tangle deeper and deeper into the family's festive chaos he starts to realize there is far more to this blonde bombshell than meets the eye.

Now with Christmas just around the corner Alec and Skylar return back to the gorgeous Puffin Island and they bring back a tentative bond formed between them. Neither one intends to fall in love but as the nights become darker and the flames of passion grow hotter you never know this could be the beginning of the romance of the year, and the happy ending they both crave!

A touch of Christmas sparkle , the joy of family and the beauty of love , is what this read is all about and there is no other author more suitable to the task of bringing it all to life. I cried, I laughed , I shouted out and yes I even felt like my heart was being torn to shreds, and then pieced back together again with such tender care it nearly brought me to my knees. Sarah Morgan has an exceptional talent that not only wows me each time but manages to pull me out from whatever slump I might be in.

This time it was the news of my father having to go for a heart operation next week. It felt like the most scariest words I have ever heard , so of course as I always do I find something to read to take away all the chaotic thoughts running through my mind, it's almost never worked, there is always a point in the books where my mind wanders but I can tell you that this time it was not the case, Sarah Morgan , Alec and Skylar managed to take away my focus on the bad for a full 4 hours! And even now as the date nears I can pull on those happy thoughts from the book and the strength the character of Skylar has to get me through the days.

The book is emotional, brilliantly crafted, has a gorgeous plot and stunning backdrops with that perfect Sarah Morgan magic ! Sarah Morgan is the magic that makes romance go round!

CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER by author Sarah Morgan is a November 2015 release by Harlequin Mira.

This story takes us back to Puffin Island. We already read Emily Donovan’s story in First Time in Forever and Brittany Forrest’s in Some Kind of Wonderful.

Skylar Tempest is a successful jewelry designer but her parents think its just hobby. Therefore, she doesn’t get any appreciation or support from her family. Yet she has her own close friends on Puffin Island who not only love and support her, but are there for her every step of the way.

She meets brooding Alec Hunter on the island. But she hates him on sight and the feeling seems to be mutual. So under pressure Alec goes to Sky’s art exhibition while in London. He planned on showing his face and be on his way. Yet when he reaches there, he finds Sky in unexpected and unforeseen circumstance. He does what a good person would do and help her. But being together they see a different side to each other and sparks fly and they decide on ‘no emotional ties, angst-free diet version of a relationship. Relationship lite, nonfat!’

But what would happen when one of them begins to change the rules? And falls in love? Could it work?

CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER is a sensational story. It is like a Christmas miracle happening in front of your eyes. To get Alec and Sky together was a miracle in itself. Author Sarah Morgan always pens fabulous stories full of shimmering emotions. When Sky’s friends were quizzing Alec why Sky had left, I had tears streaming down my face at all the friends’ relationship. Sarah Morgan knows how to delve deep with emotions and move a reader to tears. All the readers of CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER would be hooked from the very first page until the end.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

Finding a baby abandoned on her doorstep changed Lily Baker’s life drastically. She instantly fell in love with the baby. And the stranger who came running to pick up his key. 

Nic Johnson had been there before. Lost a child and been tortured by guilt, could he do it all over again? Could he trust himself to be there for Lily if things went wrong?

NEWBORN ON HER DOORSTEP is a full-on emotional roller-coaster of a story. The emotional intensity in this romance would touch a reader’s heart and keep her hooked till the last page.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

This such a lovely beautiful and emotional story one filled with sensual feelings when two people who have been through so much are instantly attracted to each other on their first meeting.

Lily Baker's life is turned completely upside down the day that a new born baby is left on her doorstep, Lily is self employed and has turned out a strong and caring person after being orphaned when she was young and this baby girl who turns out to be her niece means everything to her but can she be a proper mother and aunt to this little angel on her own, but then in steps her best friend's brother Nic.

Nic Johnson has also been through a lot losing a baby and partner he is a charity boss and does so much for children around the world but when it come to the thought of having any more children of his own that is a no go zone but the instant he meets Lily and this new born baby his life will drastically change.

This really is a story that will pull you in as both Lily and Nic along with baby Rosie will pull at your heart strings and have you smiling as they work on this instant attraction they have for each other and journey to such a beautiful HEA and a wonderful family life. I do highly recommend this one.

As far as unexpected situations go I think the one that pretty much always is the worst kind of wonderful is a baby. You‘re in shock, you’re thinking how, what, when, where, stupid questions because no doubt you know the answer to all of the above. But then comes the really scary part is how will I do this, can I do this? 

Now that aside imagine if you really want a family of your own, then of course an unexpected baby is not bad at all. But when it’s someone else’s baby that shows up!

It’s what you always wanted but not quite how you wanted it. In this read this is the realization for Lily Baker, she has for many years dreamed of having her very own family, but when a newborn baby accompanied by a so delicious man so hot he should have come with a warning label arrives on her doorstep, she’s thinking she got more than she wished for.

But what Lily does not know is that Nic Johnson is not the kind to love, nor is he really the father type either, not after the loss of his son.  But one kiss draws Nic to Lily like a moth to the flame, but as we all know a moth will eventually fly off, unless Lily can brink Nic’s dead heart back to life.

This was a very emotional roller coaster read, there was so much sadness mixed with happiness that I found it hard to try keep my emotions under control. The characters were well developed, the plot was a little too familiar, almost as if I have read it before which with the amount of books I read, entirely possible.

So with that in the back of my mind I went hunting though my shelf and I found the book it reminded me about, the story immediately came rushing back to mind and I immediately knew why this book was familiar, but there is a huge difference with this one, Ellie Darkins did not try to sugarcoat the tragedies in the book, she put it out for all the world to see, I felt the heartache, the drama, the sadness that nearly tears the characters apart.  The other read never had it, it’s by an unknown author and I don’t think I have ever seen her write anything else so I hope that she is out there perfecting the craft of drawing on each and every emotion the reader has to give.

To close off I will say “Well done Ellie!” you not only had me emotionally drained at the end , but also showed me that there is always happiness in tragedy , take it any way you can get it, even if it shows up on your doorstep looking sexier than sin and carrying a baby!

An Heir Fit for a King is a wonderfully written and emotional story.  It's penned by the amazing Abby Green who is so fashion-forward with her writing and an author who consistently pushes boundaries.  An Heir Fit for a King is due for September 2015 release with Harlequin Presents and part of the One Night With Consequences series.

Fashion-forward... what does this mean you wonder?  Read the first chapter and that's EXACTLY what I mean!  An exceptional beginning - daring to go where not many first chapters have gone before.  Uncharted territory which I absolutely adored.  Abby Green has always done this for me and I love it! In my opinion it helps keep these books exciting.

Alix Saint Croix is an exiled King of a small island kingdom.  He is a hard and determined man who's suffered greatly in the past and very close to claiming back his crown.  Never before has he been floored by a woman as he was when he walked into Leila's perfume shop.  He pretty much drops everything to pursue her.  Leila puts the colour back in his world, he's completely consumed by her and it's not long before he's thinking she can be his queen.

Of course things don't run smoothly, especially with Leila feeling completely overwhelmed by Alix's world, by Alix and by the intense feelings she's starting to feel.  They have amazing chemistry which consumes them both but overhearing a conversation tips everything over for Leila and she ends it.  Consequences of their brief union bring them back together, not by Leila's choice and reluctantly she agrees to be Alix's Queen.  Both parties need to dig deep into their pasts and open their hearts up if they stand a chance.

An Heir Fit for a King is set in beautifully described France and a stunning island, so real I was there!  Abby Green never fails to hit the emotional nail on the head with incredibly likeable and slightly broken characters, stunning locations and a story which marvelously wraps me right up and reels me in.  The sparks were flying and the aircon was turned up to full!

I loved A Heir Fit for A King, I loved both Alix and Leila, their character make-up and their chemistry.  I loved the descriptive writing which covered locations, emotions, sights and smells.
I adored An Heir Fit for a King and would recommend it to all!

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL by author Sarah Morgan is a Mills & Boon release for July 2015.

Brittany Forrest wants nothing to do with her ex-husband. He had after all walked out on her and their marriage after only ten days. So why was she feeling all the old attraction now that he was back on Puffin Island? 

Zachary Flynn finds he is still attracted to Brittany as he was ten years back when he had ran from his marriage to her. But why did he walk out? What was his reason?

SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL is a wonderfully fulfilling romance written by author Sarah Morgan. I was hooked from the first page till the end. . It’s very fast paced and filled with sensuality and emotional intensity.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

So at the age of eighteen she thought she'd found the adventure in bad boy Zach Flynn. But after just ten days of romantic bliss their marriage goes up in smoke. Brittany resolves to put Zach and her failed marriage out of her mind forever.

Zach knows he really let Brittany down but being back on Puffin Island stirs up memories he has long fought to bury. He's been a daredevil in life with everything he's done but daring to fall for Brittany again is something he 's sure will never work, he just doesn't feel worthy of her affection.

But the off the charts chemistry forces them together and as long hot summer days on the beach dissolve into sultry, starry nights Brittany and Zach find that the sparks between then are more powerful then ever. Can they make it work on round two?

Sexy, sexy, SEXY!! Yep that is one of the first words I will use to describe this book. Being a major Sarah Morgan fan and having read all of her books and knowing the woman knows how to rock any scenario, charm any character and entrance any reader all I can really say is she 's done it again!!

I was in love with heartbroken Zach from page one, I wanted to cuddle this man and just be there for him, and the man was so sensual it drove me crazy , but of course in a good way. I love characters that just totally blend with the story and Zach was perfect.

I really liked Brittany, fun and funky and full of spunk and bravado! I really felt for her when Zach tries so hard to show he cares but just cannot fully grasp that it's okay to care.

I adored being transported back to Puffin Island, just as the first time I could not get enough of the stunning scenery and the truly come to live little island.  From the remarkable characters with fascinating background stories, the breathtaking heartache and happiness to the story of finding love and the strength to believe, this book is the absolute perfection addition to the world of romance.

I cannot wait for the next installment, Sarah Morgan you keep getting better and better !

The first time I read a book by this author ( back then not a Mills and Boon book ) I sat back at the end and I was like " Wow , just wow" because at the time all I read were Mills and Boon's and this was one of my very first non-mills-and-boon books, and the wow part was that I was speechless because I could not believe that there were other author's out there capable of writing this well and it not being published by my favorite publisher. Pretty darn dumb I know but since then I have learned, trust me I have learned , never only look for that pretty little rose image. Since then my favorite publisher has seen the light  and this author has proved over and over again just why she belongs in the world of M&B.

Now this time the author introduced me to Emily Applegate , she's the head bridesmaid and she's furious! Lord Berkeley cancels her best friend's wedding venue and Emily is naturally everything but impressed.

But gorgeous Theo is adamant that the wedding won't happen at his estate, that is unless Emily makes a trade. But willingly playing the Earl's fake fiancee, yeah she's not so sure about that. Especially when there's absolutely nothing fake about the out of control off the charts sizzle between them!

A stunningly crafted romance of epic proportions, yes that's what this book was. A fun and feisty heroine that's pretty much cornered and a stubborn hero that's uses each and every single drop of his power to get what he wants , perfect setup for romance with a kick don't you agree?

I loved the power-play between these two characters, so very in your face, oh no you don't , don't you bloody damn well dare, okay fine you win ! Theo as I said was stubborn , and I do mean stubborn, I wanted to stick him in a seller and let him rot at one stage , but only for a little while. I adored the author letting him hide in plain sight so to speak, it really reminded me just how much we can be out and about in the world yet hidden from everyone.

Now as heroine Emily was a really fun one to read, I really enjoyed her spunk, pushing Theo to a certain degree but not really pushing as hard as I knew she could, of course this meant she had a little something in the back of her mind causing the prevention, and oh my gosh when the author let that one come to light I literally jumped off the bed , shouted out " Really? What the heck?!" But through these actions the author showed how there is always a little part of us that needs a push from the other side to send us on the right path.

Passionate, awesome fun and crazy dialogue, emotionally packed and simply filled with elegant romance! Highly recommended !

This read is by far the best Dani Collins book ever! The characters were simply perfect from start to finish. Intense, raw, passionate and so realistic it felt as if they were coming alive with each word and action the author played out , I really felt that wow connection with them both and it blew me away!

The character of Alesky was the perfect mix of dark and tortured becomes sweet and kind I adored it. The character of Clair was strong and feisty really stuck it to the hero and I mean really, really stuck it to him.

It was fun, intense and simply remarkable. The one and only complaint I have about this read , was that it ended. I wanted the passion and iintensityof this relationship to continue long after I read the last line.

I am taking away a message of everyone has someone they are willing to die for, the trick is to be able to recognize when such a person enters your life, if you don't then the loss will be more devastating then death itself.

I recommend this read for all fans of romance reads. And if you are not a fan of romance this is the read that will hook you , and suddenly have you believing in love, forever.

This was a romance read in true Oliva Gates style. Pure raw passion and overwhelming intensity.
The characters were strong, realistic and really shone from the pages. I really love how this author always takes characters to new heights.

It's as if she literally pulls them from the streets , sits them down , and starts writing around their personal stories, simply remarkable.

The character of Rafael was the magic in this book, this man is grabbed onto my heart and he still has not let go. I loved him for trying so hard to fight back against the cards life had dealt him, but even more for trying to prevent it happening to anyone else, he was like a dark prince among a glittering world of crime.

Eliana was a nice and slow character, but not too slow that she came off boring, she had the right balance of fire and ice , which of course made her super fun to read.

I am taking away a message of revenge can seem like the ultimate plan of attack, but nothing is always as it seems. Before you act , retrack and rethink it could be the difference between losing it all and gaining a lifetime of happiness.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romance that love a remarkable set of characters, a fantastic enjoyable plot and a fabulous ending !

The Chatsfield Book Five: Tycoon's Temptation by Trish Morey

Hurt sometimes just refuses to go away. You can through yourself into your work, you can get drunk and laugh and try to forget, you can do just about anything but the hurt will always be there. Sneaking up on you in the dead of night or hitting you with the first rays of sunlight.

In this read, the fifth book in the new Mills and Boon series, we meet Holly Purman and Franco Chatsfield.
Holly has devoted her life to her family's vineyard and there is no way and no how she is going to risk losing it all, especially to a Chatsfield!

Franco Chatsfield has never played by the rules of his family and he 's not planning on starting anytime soon either. But The Chatsfield's new CEO makes it clear that Franco needs to secure a partnership and he can't say no. So he figures he 'll seal the deal and get the out! Should be easy enough. There's just one problem, one very tempting woman stands in his way.  

Franco and Holly soon finds themselves working together to both get what they want, but as time passes and all starts to fall into place so does their passion for each other and soon Franco find the pieces to his heart have somehow been slotted back into place, he has no idea how and soon he only has one question , does he go against hope and shatter his heart again or does he go after the woman who has mended it?

I really liked this read, the characters were interesting and the plot had a very nice fun flow to it. The character of Franco does come off as a little too dark , but once the author reveals his reasons from the past I saw him in a complete different light and I immediately sympathized with him. I loved, loved the moment when the truth about his feelings for Holly hit him, it was so intense and had me yelling out" That's it, you're finally there! "

I loved the character of Holly, so much fun to read!  She was all fire and ice and this of course made me adore her! I mean who doesn't love a give it as good as she gets it heroine! I was non to happy about her judgmental attitude toward Franco but as she started to get to know him the author did a fabulous job at showing that we should never judge someone on first impressions. You just simply cannot know what lies behind their bad attitude or sadness in their eyes. Always take the time to get to know someone before you go all out to hit them with words and actions that hurt.

I am taking away a message of life has it's way of dishing out pain that shatters our hearts to the point where we believe it cannot be repaired, but life also has away of showing us that there is always hope for a better tomorrow. The trick is to be able to recognize it when it comes along , and if you don't then at least be man enough to recognize it when it hits you over the head, and act right away! Never delay in grabbing onto happiness for tomorrow it might be too late.

I recommend this read for all fans that love a very sexy and passionate love found during the most unexpected series of events romance reads. Trish Morey has created a stunning fun and fresh plot with believable and remarkable characters.

This is the final part to the amazing O'Neil brothers series by the always talented Sarah Morgan. This time we get to go inside the mind of Tyler and just why he won't get involved with his best friend Brenna!

Ex-skiing champion, reformed heartbreaker and single dad Tyler has one only mission this Christmas and that's to make sure his thirteen year old daughter, Jess, has the best Christmas ever. Then things get a little more complicated when his best friend Brenna has to temporarily move in with them.

She has been a distraction for as long as he can remember, but he has always kept his distance, because sex will complicate their friendship, and he'll be dammed if he messes up the only friend-relationship he still has left. So Brenna and her sexy ab's will just have to be kept out of his thoughts and out of his bed! Besides he doesn't do long term , ever!

Easier said then done, because Brenna, encouraged by her friends takes a leap of faith and in no uncertain terms makes sure Tyler knows she 's in love with him, she 's waited her whole life for him to see her as a woman and not just as one of the guys. But once they kiss the relationship shifts from friends to madly sexually addicted to each other, and Tyler is not the forever kind so is it actually worth it, or will Tyler make her dreams come true this Christmas?

I have been addicted to this series from book one and since I 'met' Tyler and Brenna in the first book I could not wait to dig into their happy ever after. From the first two books I could of course pick up that both Tyler and Brenna have some issues and the whole world can see they're in love with each other but keep holding back, this was delicious build up tension, but pure torture to wait , am so glad I finally got the lowdown !

Tyler has this sort of electric I'll make you mine with just a kiss feel to him which made him the sexiest brother by far. I adored how the author let him be this  intensely sexy man and he knows it ladies, he truly knows every woman wants him, but he stays gentle in so many other ways and does not let his sex on legs appeal get the better of him. He tries harder than most hero's to be a good father, he puts his foot in it quite a number of times but he tries so hard and it just made my heart melt and I loved him to bits! Through this character the author showed that there is always a different type of person underneath the layers we present to the world, never judge and never believe everything you hear, it hurts a person more than you will ever know.

The character of Brenna was fun, sweet, kind and just the type of heroine anyone will love. Her past is a terrible one, and made me stop and wish I could have been there to teach her how to fight back and stand up for herself. I simply loved how the author used Brenna 's friends to finally push her to fight for what she wants, it was like reading about a tiny puppy turning in to a fierce don't mess with me dog! Riveting ! Through this character the author showed that bottling up your feelings and anger never leads to anything good, the hurt festers and prevents us from becoming the people we are truly meant to be.

From this read am taking away a message of life throws us curveballs we never see coming, but what if we grab onto the curveball instead of dodging it? Will it work out, will it fail? No one knows but just maybe we will get what we want by grabbing hold of the curveball  that is the first step to making it happen.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romance. The read was magical, sensual and so romantic you will forever believe in the power of love and the magic of Christmas after reading it!

 MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS by author Sarah Morgan is a Harlequin release for September 2014.

This is Book three of the mini-series about the O’Neil brothers.

Tyler O’Neil had to quit racing professionally after an accident. But he was not too happy to lead a quite life at Snow Crystal, his family’s lodge. He missed the adrenalin of the races. But he now has his teenage daughter living with him and he loved having her with him.

Brenna Daniels had crushed on Tyler since she was a teen and had followed him around ever since. But Tyler just saw her as ‘one of the guys’ and a best friend. Now forced by circumstances they moved in together, could their friendship turn to something more?

MAYBE THIS CHRISTMAS is a heart-warming tale of best friends trying to keep their friendship intact while fighting their attraction for each other. I loved the interaction between Tyler and his daughter. The dialogue between them were pure gold. Author Sarah Morgan depicted realistically how a solo dad waded through the drama of bringing up a teen daughter. And the friendship Tyler and Brenna tried to keep intact by ignoring their scorching chemistry made this emotional saga a treat to read.

I still remember the first Cosmo Red Hot Read I read by Sarah Morgan called Ripped! It was all kinds of hilarious funny and extremely super hot.

So of course I jumped at the chance to read her second CRHR and oh my was it all kinds of awesomeness! The author once again gave that super sexy flair of passion meets reality meets humor all neatly wrapped with a big bow of amazing writing!

The story tells of Rosie and how her perfect zen balance is thrown for a serious loop when her former coach and lover Hunter Black becomes her new boss!

Talk about awkward!  I for one would feel so out of place and would lose more than just my zen. But Rosie decides she won't go all nutty with all the sexual energy crackling between them, she'll instead go a little slutty and take what she wants but this time it's play by her rules or no playing at all. Poor Hunter has no idea what he's in for.

I really loved the sexiness of this read, the super hot chemistry between Rosie and Hunter was off the charts, and had this certain sneak around kind of feel about it making it all the more sexier.

The characters were very well written and nicely developed for a short read. None of that "I am missing this part about the personality or What? Why? What did I miss?" I know from previous short reads by other authors that it so very often happens that all you have a super red hot sexy story but no substance into the characters and it all just seems too rushed, not the case in this read, nice work Sarah!

Aside from sexy heat, fantastic chemistry, well developed characters there was also the fact that this is a fantastic well written second chances read.

I totally loved the ending in this read, it was so sweet, so kind so melt my heart inspiring it took my breath away. But am of course not going to tell you, you will need to read it for yourself all I will say is " Happy Birthday Ninja!"
