What a fabulous story this one is this is the third book in the Ravensdale series and you will be turning the pages very quickly as Jasmine Connolly and Jake Ravensdale have a journey that is filled with ups and downs and makes them open up and realize that love is what matters.

Jake Ravensdale is one of the twins and is so sure he is like his actor father that he spends his life going from one one night stand to the next love is not for Jake he does not want to end up like his parents so he concentrates on enjoying life as best as he can but when a young girl believes she is in love with him his old friend Jasmine steps in and saves the day could this change his way of life and his thinking when Jasmine pronounces them engaged.

Jasmine Connolly has grown up on the Ravensdale estate she is the gardeners daughter but has been taken in by the Ravensdale's and is more like family but she has always felt a bond and love for Jake but that is shot down when she is 16, Jaz becomes a wedding gown designer she needs love and the feeling of being loved after all her parents never wanted her so she tries to find love and with three failed engagements and when an opportunity to get Jake to help her with a false engagement pops up this is going to change her life in such a good way.

This journey is filled with a sensual affair that melts their hearts but builds tension but it also makes them open up and realize that love together is the best thing for them and the marriage proposal will have you smiling and shedding a few tears of joy. I loved this one from the first page and I highly recommend it thank you MS Milburne you never disappoint me with one of your stories and this one gave me hours of reading pleasure.

A delightful read which carries on with the Ravensdale family which we have been meeting during the first two books of the engaging series.

Jasmine is the gardener's daughter but grew up close to the sides of the Ravensdales and lived with them during her turmoiled childhood. She's always had a thing for Jake, twin of Julius from book one, and is still mortified about her experience with him when she was a naive love sick puppy. Now, many years later and two weddings to make dresses for the time has come when she can't avoid Jake any longer.

Many failed engagements behind her with the latest looking to fail too, an opportunity arises that will suit both Jasmine and Jake's complicated single status and an fake engagement is announced. Much to Jasmines delight and Jake's horror. As the story rolls along we discover why everyone thinks they're enemies when really what happened behind the scenes was quite the opposite and Jasmine's way of coping.

A great read, two frenemies who are growing together and realising that maybe their opposites really do attract and just maybe instead of working so hard to avoid each other that they should stop fighting the magnetic forces that are bringing them together. I really quite liked Jake.

With family and friends and ex partners and scandalous teenagers all in the background this makes for a delightful read, it's kind of Presents mixed with a bit of light-hearted humor along the ride.

Loved it and looking forward to number 4 xxx

"Engaged to Her Ravensdale Enemy" by Melanie Milburne is part of her series 'The Ravensdale Scandals.' Even though it is a read alone book, because the author does a great job introducing the characters in the book, I highly recommend reading this series.

Playboy Jake Ravensdale is somewhat in a bind when a young stalker shows up on his doorstep. Good thing Jasmine Connolly is at the house trying to get some of her work done for a bride to be. She steps up and introduces herself as Jake's fiance. Once Jasmine makes sure the teenager makes it home safe she lets Jake know that she is not pleased that he is hosting an orgy weekend. Jasmine and Jake know each other because her father worked on the estate that the Ravensdale family owned. The family took her in and she became a part of their family. 

There are some twists in this story about what happened in their past that brings them to this event in their lives. They try to fight their chemistry, but it's a lost battle

This book has one of my favourite tropes in Romance going for it. Enmity turning to forever kind of love. The sparks flying getting all the more intense because the feelings involved are on the extreme sides of the spectrum; be it hate or love.

Due to an incident tat happened a long time ago, Jasmine and Jake can't even bring themselves to be civil to each other and prefer their family to be around so that they are not left to each other's company.

Jasmine is the daughter of the gardener at Jake's parents' house but has always considered the Ravensdales her default / adopted family as neither her mother nor her father had any affection or time for her.

Jumping back to the present, with yet another broken engagement Jasmine does not want to face the world and Jake wants the teenaged girl who has developed a crush on him to leave him alone; these two are at the Ravensdale estate together and in a moment of revengeful inspiration, Jasmine announces their engagement.

Following the announcement, everything snowballs itself to perfection but there are still glitches here and there.

Definitely serious and complicated but nothing that a heart to heart cannot resolve.

The banter they had going between them gives one the fits

Melanie Milburne has done a fantastic job using the enemies-to-lover trope in bringing out the best in her writing. In Engaged to Her Ravensdale Enemy Ms. Milburne builds the drama from page one and keeps the conflict exploding with each new chapter in the scintillating new installation in her Ravensdale miniseries for Harlequin Presents. Hot, sexy and full of intense scenes right out of some popular television soap, this book hits all the right buttons! Jake Ravensdale has fled to his family estate to get away from a teenage stalker. What he hasn’t bargained for is to find his young stalker at his doorstep. He is however surprised and shocked when Jasmine Connolly declares to the stalker and the world that she is Jake’s fiancée. Of course she’s already engaged to someone else! From here things heat up and intense drama burns up the pages. Fans of the previous two books in the Ravensdale miniseries are sure to find this installation all the more entertaining! Overall, great dialogue, cutting-edge drama, sizzling chemistry and descriptive writing make this a worthwhile read.

My favorite Ravensdale sibling! There's just something about the chemistry between these two that made it my favorite yet in the series.

Jasmine Connolly is having horrible luck with men. Now her 3rd fiance in just about as many years is telling her he wants a "break". She's convinced he'll come running back if only he has the right motivation. She comes up with a plan to make him jealous.

Jake Ravensdale is a notorious playboy, and Jaz's enemy for years now. She grew up with his little sister and ever since she had a crush on him when she was a teen that he didn't return, they have gone at it like cats and dogs whenever in the same room with each other. She can't believe she's asking him for a favor, but surely if Myles sees her spending time with him, he'll hurry back to claim his woman!

When Jake agrees to accompany Jaz to a weekend work function, there are sure to be fireworks ... but neither of them expect the attraction that flares up between them!

Wow book 3 of the Ravensdale Scandals and what a wow book it is. Jasmine Connolly is a wedding gown designer and Jake Ravensdale is her nemesis. She has loved him forever but has managed to get engaged to three different men and broken it three times. Lets consider why, its because no one will fill the place for Jake in her heart sounds like there is a simple solution. Get Jake, stop there he isn't interested in forever and he isn't interested in Jaz. At least that is what they both believe until a few events make it imperative they make like they are engaged and so begins a wonderful story of having that saying "you don't know what you've got until you lose it". A marvelous story by a phenomenal author and you will be waiting anxiously for the next in the series. Loved it so much and it made me smile laugh and cry. Wow is all I can say

Jasmine Connolly's mother did not want her, dropped her with her dad and he left her with the Ravensdale's to bring up. Engaged three different times and each time engagement broke off. She can't help thinking that it must be something wrong with her. 

Started with her crush on Jake Ravensdale! She was young, at a party and she was in Jake's bed and he opens the door bringing in his 3 young gals and Jasmine runs out humiliated. Rejection by Jake was a hard lesson for her and she would never talk about what else went on that night.

Jasmine decides that she will make her last man jealous and use Jake to do it. Her way of getting back at him for the past rejection and hurt she suffered. Especially when Jake has an encounter with a young teenage gal with a huge crush on him even comes to his house even and Jasmine helps the girl back home and tells the girl that Jake and Jasmine are engaged. WHAT? Well Jasmine had decided he will help her and she will help him. When a few weeks are over the engagement will be broken and they can go back to their lives. She talks Jake into it and little do they know what might happen when you put the two together and the press has a field day with them and so does social media. She does tell a couple of her closest friends what is the truth.

Jake does purchase an engagement ring even for her and purchases a beautiful necklace for her. They attend a weekend bridal show where Jasmine has a wedding gown from her designs and bridal shop in and well you need to read to find out how it goes.

Melanie Milburne does not disappoint me in this love story. She does a wonderful job on The Ravensdale Scandals!

Fast paced , sexy, sexy, SEXY, and loaded with drama! This was the perfect book in every way you can think of!

Cutest heroine ever, and the most incredible hero, as in the kind that melts you , then enrages you then just brings you back down from your little anger in fulled rage. Did I mention he's a Prince!!

Michelle 's books are always perfect , she wraps everything I need to take away from a romance book up into a perfect bubble, adds the most delicious twits and then BOOM does something unexpected that makes me doubt my previous review of her books, that's right I always say her books are the best and I cannot fault them at all, and when the next one comes she does it even better than the last one hence the BOOM that blows me away!

It's hard to explain or rather put into words just exactly what she does because I have no idea what exactly it is but I do know that I highly recommend anyone and everyone to sit down and read any of this author's books . It a experience you will never forget, you will walk away with emotions you have never experienced from romance books( yes the normal love, happiness and heartache is there, but Michelle amps it up and I mean really amps it up!).

Trust me on this , read this , no read any book by this author and your life will be changed forever!!

A romantic winter read with a beautiful setting at New Years Eve.

Tilly has landed a fantastic opportunity to cater for a New Years Eve party. Xavier Moretti hates Christmas and Tilly is a jilted bride so both aren't the happiest of campers at such a time of year where most are happy and full of joy. Both Tilly and Xavier note the sparks flying and not just from the log fire. Crazy snow storm blocks the road and neither the party Tilly is catering for can get through and she can't leave.

Snowbound! 

Brilliant set up for two people who need to face their demons and the distraction of each other proves to start the New Year off with a bang. Once the snow settles and they have to face the real world, will the warmth in the manor continue outside in reality to melt their past away and heal broken wounds??? 

Tilly and Xavier are two fab characters to read about and I enjoyed their story from the start. I found it hard to put down and I enjoyed the set up of the beautiful manor which was described with perfect detail, the believable back stories and really warmed to the characters of Tilly and Xavier. They deserved their happy ever after together.

Imagine sitting in front of a warm log fire all tucked up with a nice glass of red! This is how I felt reading New Year at the Boss's Bidding.

"New Year at the Boss's Bidding" by Rachael Thomas is a quick, classic romance. Xavier Moretti hires Tilley Rogers to cater his family New Year's Eve party but a snowstorm cancels the party and strands them together. Even though it's cold outside it is HOT inside. I'd love to tell you more but it gives too much of the story away, and the relationship between these two are worth reading.

New Year's Eve being not far away from Christmas, every New Year's Eve has the added warmth of Christmas. The same is true for this sexy story.

Snowbound in a manor that oozes of times gone by, Natalie and Xavier come together emotionally and physically. Both of them have a past that they must learn to move on from. Wounds of a past that need healing and the way to that is for them to be there for each other. The salve for their wounds is the love they have now developed for themselves.

Even though it is a Presents story, I find it a very sweet Romance. A book that when I once began, I could not keep it down until I read the last word.

New Year at the Boss's Bidding by Rachael Thomas

Xavier Moretti’s New Year’s Eve party is a good way to build the verily recent business for Tilly Rogers’s new catering company, Tilly’s Table. Landing it was a much needed boost to her new business and he wants an Italian theme which is perfect for Tilly. She used to cook alongside her grandma. 
As Tilly drives out to the Wimble Manor which is set on the edge of Exmoor it is snowing. She finally finds the Manor and finds also that the snow is accumulated a bit more. As she gets out unloading her business van she encounters none other than Xavier. 

Xavier is a billionaire business owner and has the motorcycle track. He is a former motorcycle racing and now mentors the young riders. He for sure is the most high-profile client to date for her catering company.

Tilly was very pleased to be out of London for New Year’s Eve considering that last year on the morning of what was to be her wedding day when her fiancé, Jason called off the wedding. 
Tilly felt Xavier’s eyes on her as she unloaded the van. He offered to help her and touched her as he grabbed boxes out of her arms. This sent sparks flying between them. She had never been affected by a man like this before, not even her ex-fiancé. 

As she set to prepare for the party she was not really looking out the windows and when she did she could not believe how the flakes were so large and coming down at a fast pace. She began to worry would her 2 assistance make it out there to help her. 

After her broken engagement she started a bucket list of things she wanted to accomplish. Her catering business was on the list and so was a romantic fling. There was something between her and Xavier and yet she told herself and later him that she could not do anything since Xavier was her boss for this party. 

Do the 2 assistants make it to the Manor? Does Xavier’s family make it there? Will Xavier and Tilly be alone in the Manor for New Year’s Eve and after due to a major snow storm? To find these answers and more you will have to read the book. It will show how Tilly had been hurt and how Xavier’s cycle accident that left his best friend dead and Xavier with major scars and what the future now holds for them.

Tilly Rogers is given the opportunity to cater a New Years eve party for billionaire Xavier Moretti. New Years is not a good time for either Tilly or Xavier, last New years Tilly was to marry and her fiancé called it off just before the ceremony. Xavier hates the holidays as he feels responsible for the death of a friend near the holidays. New Year is as it says a new year and these two people are suddenly stranded and have to cancel the party and spend the time together. Take Tilly , Xavier and an author like Rachael Thomas and you have a lovely story of discovery , healing and finding love when its least expected. These two people find what all romance readers want HEA but on their way to that you have a lovely story that will make you warm for the new Year

However, being in close proximity to each other ignites a fire between them and it is not before long that Tilly and Xavier act upon their sizzling attraction. But with their broken past hanging over their heads, Tilly and Xavier give each other comfort in trying times by helping each other recuperate. Overall, New Year at the Boss’s Bidding by Rachael Thomas is a good solid book that keeps you reading until the end. Ms. Thomas creates a convincing story where her unique writing style and her well-developed characters take readers on an emotional rollercoaster ride.

This is a story that will have you turning the pages as two people that have issues to get over come together in a sizzling sensual story in such a beautiful setting with lots of snow.

Tilly Rogers was jilted a year ago and has thrown herself into a new business and hid behind that but she has made a list of things that she is determined to get done she is quiet and determined and a little afraid of loving which stems from her parents but when she takes on a job for New Years Eve and then gets snowed in her life will change for the better.

Xavier Moretti had a great life as a motor bike racer but when that part of his life ends in tragedy he continues to punish himself he works hard to promote safety in the industry but shuns Christmas, but when he meets Tilly things will change.

I loved this story truly the instant sizzling attraction when Tilly and Xavier meet could set the pages on fire the sensuality is amazing and to see a tortured hero meet a heroin who has issues to overcome and then Xavier to be so determined to get the girl he loves, this one will have you smiling throughout I highly recommend this story grab a beverage curl up and enjoy I did very much.

Everyone knows I am a serious Sarah Morgan addict, so of course I yelled out my joy when the final of the Puffin Island series reached me,. Every Sarah Morgan book is like receiving that one special gift that will always be with you.

And this Christmas read will certainly always be with me as one of the best reads in the romance world. This time we get the low down on Skylar , she has never understood Alec Hunter's appeal, so what if he's a world renowned historian, who cares! He's cynical, aloof and determined to think the worst of her.

Then a twist of fate leaves Skylar having to spend Christmas with Alec's  family and of course she's not thinking of this as being a merry affair or starry and bright either. That is until she get's into the festive mood.

Alec has learned the hard way to not trust beautiful woman, and Skylar is by far the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on, then as he watches her tangle deeper and deeper into the family's festive chaos he starts to realize there is far more to this blonde bombshell than meets the eye.

Now with Christmas just around the corner Alec and Skylar return back to the gorgeous Puffin Island and they bring back a tentative bond formed between them. Neither one intends to fall in love but as the nights become darker and the flames of passion grow hotter you never know this could be the beginning of the romance of the year, and the happy ending they both crave!

A touch of Christmas sparkle , the joy of family and the beauty of love , is what this read is all about and there is no other author more suitable to the task of bringing it all to life. I cried, I laughed , I shouted out and yes I even felt like my heart was being torn to shreds, and then pieced back together again with such tender care it nearly brought me to my knees. Sarah Morgan has an exceptional talent that not only wows me each time but manages to pull me out from whatever slump I might be in.

This time it was the news of my father having to go for a heart operation next week. It felt like the most scariest words I have ever heard , so of course as I always do I find something to read to take away all the chaotic thoughts running through my mind, it's almost never worked, there is always a point in the books where my mind wanders but I can tell you that this time it was not the case, Sarah Morgan , Alec and Skylar managed to take away my focus on the bad for a full 4 hours! And even now as the date nears I can pull on those happy thoughts from the book and the strength the character of Skylar has to get me through the days.

The book is emotional, brilliantly crafted, has a gorgeous plot and stunning backdrops with that perfect Sarah Morgan magic ! Sarah Morgan is the magic that makes romance go round!

CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER by author Sarah Morgan is a November 2015 release by Harlequin Mira.

This story takes us back to Puffin Island. We already read Emily Donovan’s story in First Time in Forever and Brittany Forrest’s in Some Kind of Wonderful.

Skylar Tempest is a successful jewelry designer but her parents think its just hobby. Therefore, she doesn’t get any appreciation or support from her family. Yet she has her own close friends on Puffin Island who not only love and support her, but are there for her every step of the way.

She meets brooding Alec Hunter on the island. But she hates him on sight and the feeling seems to be mutual. So under pressure Alec goes to Sky’s art exhibition while in London. He planned on showing his face and be on his way. Yet when he reaches there, he finds Sky in unexpected and unforeseen circumstance. He does what a good person would do and help her. But being together they see a different side to each other and sparks fly and they decide on ‘no emotional ties, angst-free diet version of a relationship. Relationship lite, nonfat!’

But what would happen when one of them begins to change the rules? And falls in love? Could it work?

CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER is a sensational story. It is like a Christmas miracle happening in front of your eyes. To get Alec and Sky together was a miracle in itself. Author Sarah Morgan always pens fabulous stories full of shimmering emotions. When Sky’s friends were quizzing Alec why Sky had left, I had tears streaming down my face at all the friends’ relationship. Sarah Morgan knows how to delve deep with emotions and move a reader to tears. All the readers of CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER would be hooked from the very first page until the end.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance. 

One Night in New York by Amy Ruttan

This is such a great story two people who have been through so much in their lives but have still come through with great careers as surgeons neither are looking for love or romance but when love finds them things become rocky but there needs to be a lot of opening up by them both.

Dr Mindy Walker has moved from her sunny California to a cold and wintery New York to take up a position at the West Manhattan Saints Hospital after divorcing her husband and leaving her best friend and on practically her first night there discovers and very gorgeous looking man in a bar and does something she has never done before has a one night stand that will change her life and start her on a path to happiness maybe.

Dr Sam Napier has been working at the hospital for years and is working hard to build his career as a pediatric surgeon on his own merits he does not want to get any position because of his mother who is a well known surgeon although born in New York he lived most of his life in Scotland with his father and he is such a caring but stubborn man and when he has a one night stand and then discovers that she is his new boss this really makes things hard for Sam.

This is such a beautiful and emotional story that will bring tears to your eyes and have you smiling as both Mindy and Sam open up to each other and overcome some tough times to finally realize their love for each other this one is fast paced the setting is fabulous and the characters are all rich in feelings and emotions this is one not to be missed.

New York City Docs is a series about four flatmates and friends sharing an apartment trying to be the best they can be at the prestigious West Manhattan Saints Hospital.  One Night in New York is Sam's story.  I felt I already knew Sam from the previous books in the series and I was so happy to finally reach his story.

One night, in New York, Sam and Mindy have a one night stand... two strangers who have never met before and who aren't in the habit of having one night stands but the fates have bought them together, destined to never see each other again...

Unfortunately life doesn't always pan out that way so when they meet up in the morning, both parties could probably be knocked over with a feather.  Dr Sam Napier is late for meeting the new Head of Maternal-Fetal medicine who was being introduced to the Peds floor.  Desperate to be chosen for one of two opportunities to be granted a pediatric fellowship Sam knows he needs to impress the new Head.  If receiving the fellowship had been based on his performance the night before the fellowship would have been all his I'm sure lol but unfortunately Dr Mindy Walker, the new Head of Maternal-Fetal medicine can't pick based on last nights performance.

Initially both mortified to see each other in such a professional capacity, One Night in New York tells the wonderful story of two people, amazing at what they do with bedside manners to die for (in more ways than one) and both trying so hard to succeed in a cut throat world and on the outside have it all but on the inside are both two lonely people.  An amazing career doesn't keep you warm at night and the last thing Mindy can do is show any favoritism, not to mention NOT have a relationship with Sam but when you're destined to be together, friendship is a great place to start. 

Set in a Manhattan winter I found One Night in New York to be an absolute delight with characters I warmed to and a tale I will read again.  I loved the city setting and I found the pediatric medical details absolutely fascinating including the Quints.  I loved the addition of Sam's mother and the barriers that caused. I was right there on the tourist visits Sam took Mindy on.  I would highly recommend this read to anyone and everyone.

"One Night In New York" by Amy Ruttan is a medical romance that is more of a contemporary romance with a twist. Very enjoyable, quick read, that is great for the beach, pool, or just hanging out inside your home.

This story is between Dr. Mindy Walker who is trying to escape her past and her cheating ex husband. One night she runs into Dr. Samuel, Sam, Napier at a bar, but she doesn't know who he is. Sam is a little younger than her and is impersonating a Scotsman. After a night of fun they separate as friends, but don't realize that they will be working together. It's nice to see the friendship between these two that could possibly turn into something else.

Dr Samuel Napier is a Scotsman by blood and an American by birth. And he is lonely. Not that he craves a love life as such because he totally believes in his mother's philosophy of surgeons never making good homemakers. That is a whole lot of bull by the way. He is lonely because he has no friends left at the teaching hospital where he works and is aiming for a pediatric fellowship under Dr. Chang - the best in her field. All his friends have found love and moved away one by one. And now he has a new person on the panel of the fellowship he has to prove himself to. A new attending at the hospital for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr Mindy Walker is moving across the country to get away from the pitying looks and the shame attached to the fact that her husband (now ex-husband) cheated on her with her best friend. That her husband was gay. Leaving all that she has built in California, she moves to New York to start over but a little light-hearted fun is alright the night before she starts she thinks and picks up a man in a bar. A man she is instantly attracted to and instinctively feels connected to.

That man is none other than Sam Napier. Of course, neither knew each other and what happened was an honest mistake. Not a mistake really seeing their hearts were in the right place. The morning after, however, is a shocker when they come face to face in the hospital and decide to maintain their distance as neither could afford to have their reputation in tatters because of a one night stand.

Their relationship grows by day as they come to understand and get to know each other more. They become friends and wish to be there for each other in times of need. Is it not more than friendship they wonder. One vulnerable moment have them go back on their word of keeping distance because the need for the other is too much to be denied.

But the question remains that is the other night powerful enough to make them realise what they feel for each other is too powerful an emotion to be suppressed and that their happiness lies in their future together. The fact that Sam is younger than Mindy does not even come in to the equation because Age is, but, a number.

Dr. Mindy Walker moved from California and her ex-husband and what she thought was her best friend to New York, New hospital.


Dr. Samuel Napier is a Scotsman by blood and American by birth. His father lives in Scotland, his mother in the states. He does not have a relationship with his mother other than for her to tell him he should be a neurosurgeon instead of wasting his time in Pediatric Surgery. 
Sam was out for the night and was not looking for anyone. Mindy was out just to relax and they happened to find each other even though they were not looking for someone. She was starting at the new hospital the next day. She picks up a man who turned out to be Sam and they only exchanged first names. They were mutually attracted to each other. They went back to her place and the next morning she woke alone in her bed. 


She gets to the hospital and instantly they both realize this could get complicated. Neither said they were doctors but they knew that since she was literally now his boss and him in running for a fellowship under Dr. Chang, that they had to tread lightly and not let it out about the night before.
They did become friends and he did take her on the New York tour of Lady Liberty, went out for tea and had a good time. 


You must ready this wonderful love story to find out the ending. You will not be disappointed. 
Proves that you can meet a stranger and your lives can be turned upside down.

This is a story that is about sins and in particular envy when we get to know self made multi-millionaire Flynn Marshall and his desire to be a magnate that will be envied by many others and so far he is doing well but he now needs his final goal a wife that will complete his desires one that is beautiful and well connected and who better than Ava Cavendish the girl that he had known for years as his parents worked on the Cavendish estate Frayne Hall so Flynn works out how to win Ava and sets his plan into action.

Ava has had a dreadful childhood and at the age of 17 finally stands up to her domineering father and leaves to start a life on her own although she is close to her brother Rupert he is away Ava finds herself a job makes friends and gets on with her life never forgetting the last night at Frayne Hall and the help that Flynn had given her and how safe she felt with him.

Flynn had grown up on the estate his father was the gardener and his mother a cook their boss Michael Cavendish Ava's father was a very hard and uncaring man but not to his family he gave them everything and Flynn has always envied what he had and was determined that one day he would have all of that and more and started working hard and made it.

This is a story that is very emotional Ava is such a beautiful caring heroine who craved love she never wanted money or acknowledgment of what she does and Flynn who wanted wealth and acceptance into high society and this journey is sensual and heart-warming as we see Flynn win Ava over and he does everything he can for her he is caring and romantic thinking that she wants the wealth and jewels but as they get to know each other and Flynn finally sees what Ava really wants this is going to bring tears to your eyes and make you smile. It really is one of those stories where you want to push Flynn along to understand what Ava needs. Ava's love is so honest from the start and Flynn really does care for Ava not realising that he does love her but of course when she realizes how he has gone about getting her she is devastated but love wins through for both of them I highly recommend this one don't miss this one it is strong and emotional and very sensual story. I loved this one another fantastic story from MS West.

A woman's intuition is a very powerful tool, one we should always listen to, if things don't seem right you can bet your bottom dollar they're not right!  I think unfortunately us women are deep down genuinely loving creatures who always want to believe in the best in people and when we have our rose tinted glasses on our view of the world is usually far from the reality it really is!

Ava Cavendish has her rose tinted glasses on when she coincidentally runs into Flynn Marshall, 7 years after he rescued her from her spectacular crash in which she lost control of her convertible at 17... far from her father's garden and cook's son... now he is a businessman with the world at his feet.

Falling in love they quickly marry and life seems perfect until the little niggles start to the point where things get quite creepy.   Life appears to b
e mirroring that of her parents, Flynn has her dressing to the nines and be paraded in front of all the business associates he is wooing and being wooed by, when all she wants is her casual clothes and hang out with her husband and enjoy lazy Sunday's.  Her job is disestablished, but the kicker is the house Flynn proposes they live in...

I absolutely adored Annie West's latest release because Annie has taken a popular theme of rags to riches hero and put such a brilliant spin on it that I was captured through the entire book; getting slightly upset at life's little interruptions thrown my way so I couldn't keep reading.  I HAD to know how it all ended.

The emotion I felt was pure author skill!  Can you believe I felt the parallels were starting to get creepy.  Creepy! There's an emotion you don't usually feel reading a Presents/Sexy... Flynn was a fabulous hero and you could kind of work out his motives but yet there was still something not quite right and I wanted to praise Ava from the rooftops for slowly working out things weren't all flowers and daisies as her dreams hoped for... reality was slowly but surely knocking on the door and yet as a reader I was still hoping for a happy ever after.

The Sinner's Marriage Redemption by Annie West is a August Harlequin Presents / Mills and Boon Sexy Release.  It is part of the Seven Sexy Sins series and is, in my book, a do-not-miss!  A rollercoaster ride awaits!!!

Flynn Marshall wanted a perfect wife so he married Ava Cavendish but he didn’t take into account his attraction to Ava. And what a scorching attraction! 

Ava was poised and glamourous and looked completely at ease in his business entertaining. But he learnt too late that Ava needed respect as a person as well as love.

"The Sinner's Marriage Redemption" by Annie West is part of the series 'Seven Sexy Sins.' It is a read alone book. Great story, and an easy read.

Flynn Marshall is trying to prove himself in the business world, and his personal world. He grew up in a family that did not have money so he made it on his own. Ava Cavendish is from a wealthy background. They know each other from the past, and meet up again a few years later when Flynn is a self made millionaire. He marries Ava because of who she is and her connections. Ava falls for Flynn, but finds out that everything may not be as it seems.

Much more depth to this story but you will need to read it for yourself to find out what happens along the way, and if this couple can have a future.

I don’t know about other readers out there but I for one get super, super excited when I see Annie West’s name on the cover.

Her books are inspiring, magical and just amazing, sometimes so amazing I struggle to find the words to let the world know.  In this read we meet Flynn Marshall, he has three goals in life:

1.       A multimillion dollar business empire

2.       Acceptance in the highest echelons of society

3.       A wife to make him the envy of all men

Through pure ruthlessness he has achieved the first goal and he’s well on his way to achieving number two. As for number three, he reckons it should be as easy as take, make, win to rush the stunning, well connected Ava Cavendish to the altar. But Ava is no ordinary always saying I do for the sake of wealth and fame, kind of gal, she’s got a lot of spunk and she’s not going down the aisle unless things are settled her way.

I loved to hate the character of Flynn, ruthless to the core, but so darn charming I could not help but fall hopelessly in love with the guy.  I loved how he pushed Ava, almost very nearly to the breaking point, but him backing down at the right moment really was what made me go all gooey.

Ava was the character that broke my heart, I can’t very well tell you why exactly but I will say this, her past is one of the very worst!  But I loved her fire, always pushing for her ultimate happiness.

Now onwards to their journey, it was exquisite so much so that it was almost as if the book was pure sexy sin, laced with the idea of true love hiding in the shadow.  I loved the back and forth pull of emotions, the author certainly had me at well at the very start of the book.

The powerful message of life is life, it will always go downhill but eventually it will go uphill again, it’s a rollercoaster, the trick is to know when to get off and when to stay on and when to try a new kind of ride.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of Annie West romances, it’s so shockingly exciting it will feel as if you’re the one sinning instead of the characters getting a little too raunchy!
