I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Pelican Crossing and catching up with all of the characters from the previous stories, it is such a lovely place to be. When Paige Harper makes a trip to Pelican crossing because her beloved grandmother, Mimi has a fall she never thought that her life would change so much.

Paige is devastated that her Mimi is so unwell but even though her grandmother is ninety four she is strong and Paige is hopeful that she will recover and she will return to her job and family in Brisbane, but Mimi passes away and now Paige has decisions to make she has become very attached to Martha her grandmother’s dog and is making some wonderful friends not to mention the local vet Bob Reed will she make her grandmother’s wishes come true and stay or will she go back to her life in Brisbane?

Bob Reed has lived in Pelican Crossing for many years after the death of his wife and daughter he is laid back and popular and has not long returned from a stint in a Colorado university and has just been offered the chance of a full time position and he is contemplating it but the life here is so very good the beach, surfing and the friends he has made and then he meets Paige Harper and he is feeling something that he has not felt for many years could there be a chance for love again?

MS Christensen has again taken me on a beautiful emotional and moving journey with fabulous characters Paige is finding it hard to leave her life in Brisbane behind and Bob wants her to stay Martha the dog plays a big part I think in their journey not to mention Old Agnes and her thoughts, will they find their HEA?

I did very much enjoy this I am never disappointed with this author’s stories and I highly recommend this one and the series a must read to any romance reader who loves older characters.

My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
