Locking down the Hero's computer systems to help negotiate her path away from deportation and to secure her future doesn't exactly go to plan.

A super interesting Heroine called Luli, who has phenomenal computer skills is a winning character for me.  What I loved about this story was the unique plot line, the super clever heroine and the wonderful descriptions which paint the picture of a girl in a world she knows nothing about and everything is full of culture shock and change.  It's almost like I was experiencing Luli's new world with her.

I thought the story flowed nicely and the touches of ultra richness were nicely placed through the story and the only thing we're limited by is our imagination.  There was only one thing I'd do differently if I was even half as skilled as writing as Dani, and that's maybe make Luli slightly older.

Wonderful read, wonderful story and characters and super, super wonderful cover.

Thank you Dani Collins.

UNTOUCHED UNTIL HER ULTRA-RICH HUSBAND by author Dani Collins is a June 2019 release by Harlequin Presents series.

Gabriel Dean, a billionaire tycoon, finds out his grandmother has died. He had no contact with her. So he didn’t know how she conducted her business. But he inherited her millions. But on arriving at her mansion in Singapore, he finds out her assistant, Luli, has locked her millions with custom coded software. He finds himself intrigued and infuriated by her in equal measures.

Who was she who could break into the high-level coding he provided to clients from his software company? How could she break the highly sophisticated codes? And what did she want in return?

UNTOUCHED UNTIL HER ULTRA-RICH HUSBAND is an intriguing romance. The prickly dialogue Luli used to hide behind is fun to read and all our sympathies go to her, yet she is not a weak girl. She manages to bring Gabriel to heel. Author Dani Collins brought this story to live on the pages where a reader would sympathize with Luli and Gabriel yet root for them too. They both have to come out from their past issues and forge ahead. And a reader would stay stuck to the pages till the end trying to guess and ultimately find out how it all ends.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

This story really hit the spot for sensual romance in the Presents/Modern line, we have a multi-billionaire hero and a virgin heroine both with pasts that they need to work on, hero Gabriel Dean is certain he will never love and heroine Luli Cruz wants love and to be independent, will these two find what they want, will Luli convince Gabriel that love is what he needs?

Gabriel is altered to his grandmothers passing by a text message, they were never close, but he moves fast to reach Singapore ASAP, to discover that he is her heir and that the text was sent by his grandmother’s assistant a beautiful young lady, but then he discovers that she has made sure that he will not be able to get his inheritance until her needs are met. Instantly the sparks fly and the outcome is marriage.

Luli arrived in Singapore at the age of fourteen, she is now twenty two and has never been independent, she has worked hard for Mae and been cared for better than her own mother did but freedom she has never had. Now Mae has gone it is her chance to gain what she wants from Mae’s grandson but marrying into such wealth was not what she planned, but there is a pull towards Gabriel that she cannot deny for long.

This is a sensual story with fabulous banter as Luli stands up to Gabriel in so many ways proving how strong she is after what she has been through, Gabriel finds Luli open and honest and that is one of the things that makes him fall for her, and of course her beauty and sensual pull but when he realizes he is in love with her it is magical, Gabriel and Luli are a match made in heaven. I loved this one and can highly recommend it.

Jennifer Hayward’s writing is exceptional. She nails emotion and always makes you feel like if this was the last book you’d ever read, that would be ok. Commencing the story is always great, a middle part always capturing and the finale is always wrapped up in a non rushed satisfying manner.

I loved the coffee shop chat and how it was central to the characters twice. I loved the dramatic business side of things and I loved the friendship that had been built up over the year. The 10 days in Milan was an exciting background and the sports side was central in an exciting way. Dramatic ex’s and backstory which warmed the heart.

Loved this story very much and highly recommend it.

This is the second book in this series and again MS Hayward has bought the characters to life on the pages, making them real people with real feelings and emotions, she brings out their strengths and insecurities and also took me on a fabulous trip from New York to gorgeous Milan and left this reader a very happy reader.

Lazzero Di Fiore runs a sports clothing and accessories company with his brother Santo, they have worked hard building this empire with passion and Lazzero will go to any lengths to make it bigger and when the opportunity arises for a chance to make it bigger he needs a fake fiancé to take to Milan with him, someone who understands that love and marriage are not what he wants that it will be a business deal only and who better than his favourite barista.

Chiara Ferrante is a barista a very good one, she works hard to help her father keep his bakery going and that is a struggle and she has been hurt badly before from one of “the suits” as she calls them men of money and top lifestyles, she is convinced she will never be part of that world, but when Lazzero makes an offer she can’t refuse that will help her father, she steps back into that world determined to keep her eyes wide open this time and her heart.

This story moves fast and is fabulous I just loved both Lazzero and Chiara a couple made in heaven as far as I am concerned, Chiara is strong and feisty but also vulnerable because of what she has been through and Lazzero what can I say I want him, he is so loving, thoughtful and shows such passion. This is a sensual moving story that should not be missed I highly recommend and I look forward to Santo’s story. MS Hayward knows how to make a reader feel part of the story thank you.

Louisa Heaton wrote the perfect story of what can be real life.
Sam Saint is an OB/GYN and is married to Emily Saint who is a midwife.
Sam and Emily basically fell in love at first sight and after a whirlwind romance were married. Now 18 months later Sam is waking from an accident and has amnesia and cannot remember his marriage etc. Emily was also in that accident and she discovered that she is pregnant.
The story then takes them on a 2nd honeymoon to see if that helps Sam to remember the past and fight for their marriage.
Sam and Emily belong together – despite all the problems they have encountered and their own childhood history can they make it?
Louise Heaton has captured a complete story, one that will keep you reading as you will not want to put it down. She does deserve more than 5 stars. Enjoy!

I wish when I said this story was amazing it conveyed how much I love Dani Collin's writing style. Original, thoroughly enjoyable, humorous and witty in all the right places, coupled with fantastic dialogue and characters you can really relate to and who are quite realistic and bought to life with the magic of words!

Mercedes was matched perfectly with L.C and the plot was interesting and I enjoyed it quite like I would a chick-lit because again there's the freedom for the author to develop the characters more and more time can be spent padding everything out that what one can do in a Harlequin.

Very much enjoyed!

There are some days when reading a book feels like a chore and there are some days when the story whisks you away and you are lost to reality. This book did that to me. I read it in one sitting and was so sad to let the characters go in the end. Nevertheless, Dani Collins breathed heart, humor and life into this story: Only in His Sweetest Dreams. She gave her characters wings and boy did they soar! Overall, this is a passionate rendition of heartbreak mended with love…little by little.

Such a great story!! I so want more! How about another book or two? I could really enjoy seeing Mercerdes & L.C. again ... maybe in Zack's story ... and Porsha's story??? :) I adored seeing them overcome their past to actually get a life they deserved!

When Mercedes Kimball's sister decides to take a "vacation" from her kids, she's left with no option but to take them in and make her life work around them. It might end up getting her fired from her job at the retirement community that she loves, but she can't just stand by and watch while these kids are neglected!

L.C. Fogarty winds up crossing paths with Mercedes through happenstance, and the red-hot attraction they both feel instantly is not easy to ignore! He takes the job of a temporary handyman, and they become friends. He doesn't think he's worth much in life, but she seems to take some comfort from bouncing problems off of him and getting his opinion, so he's happy to help her if he can.

Mercedes might lose her ready-made family any day if her sister comes back, but L.C. enjoys sharing times with them more than he wants to deal with his own family issues. As they grow closer and secrets from his past come out, will she want to have anything more to do with him?

Mercedes Kimball loves her niece and nephew. Mercedes was told she could never have children so when she realizes that her sister Porsha took off once again and leaves the kids with their mom who could not take care of them Mercedes finds that she must go get them.
Mercedes is manager for the Coconino Vista which is a retirement apartment community.
Mercedes had just settled the kids down when she gets a call from the complex, someone boys had broken into the one empty unit and could have done more damage. So Mercedes does the only thing she can do is to return to her job with her sister’s kids along. Poor Ayjia who is 5 does not understand why her mom is not around and the same for 6 year old Dayton. Mercedes has no other choice but to take the kids out of school and take them back to her apartment at the complex.
The boys that broke into the complex are 3 college students. Of the 3 boys they only one that fights to not be expelled is Zack and needs to put in so many hours of help fixing the damage.
In book 1 we were introduced to Zack’s dad, Lyle (LC) Fogarty.
LC has not had the greatest life and really had bad luck.
Mercedes decides to become her sister’s kid’s guardian and she seems to struggle hard to work things out with them and with her job.
Dani Collins gave us yet another love story between two people both with their share of problems. Read it you will not be disappointed

Only In His Sweetest Dreams by Dani Collins is a refreshingly original story about a very flawed hero, LC Fogarty and an equally dented heroine, Mercedes Kimball. The writing style is amazing! I love the fact that the characters are flawed, have massive chips on their shoulders and yet they are both intensely caring and extremely lovable.

We are introduced to the hero, Lyle (LC) Fogarty, in book one Not In Her Wildest Dreams but the two books are complete stories by themselves without any cliff-hangers. LC has had really bad luck in life and he escaped his home town Liebe Falls to get away from it all and to start fresh. Mercedes also had to face very difficult decisions regarding her sister’s abandoned children and how to care for them. The last thing she wanted was to get involved with a troublemaker like LC, but she just couldn’t resist him for long! Turns out there is much more to LC than anyone thought.

Dani Collins delivered a fantastic story with this one. This is a must read and I recommend it to all romance lovers. Can’t wait to read more of her stories.

"Only In His Sweetest Dreams (Sweet Dreams Book 2)" by Dani Collins is a wonderful continuation from the first book in this series. We first met LC, Lyle, Fogarty in the 1st series and we know he is Zach's father. This is important to the story because in this book Zach is caught with a couple of other college students breaking into a retirement apartment community. He was kind of in the wrong place at the wrong time. We meet Mercedes Kimball who is watching over her niece and nephew because her sister took off on the kids yet again. Mercedes is in charge at the complex. There is so many interesting things that happen in this book that it is hard not to give most of it away. You don't have to read the first book "Not In Her Wildest Dreams" by Ms. Collins but I highly recommend it since we are introduced to LC and his son in the prior book. It will give you an more in depth look at their life.

Dani Collins has written another excellent story that is the second book in a series but can be read alone.  She gives us  lovely Mercedes who is a reliable hard working women.  Her strength is put to the test when she has to take care of her niece and nephew when her alcoholic sister abandons them.  She endures so much as she tries to give a good home to the children and help them overcome the fact that their mother walked out on them.  Trying to hold it together the last thing she needs is to meet LC who is an alcoholic although he is trying to fight the demons.  When he meets Mercedes he finds a reason to change and be everything that she deserves.  A wonderful story that gives you a few smiles some tears but also lovely in that two people can find common ground to help each other and find the love they both deserve.  A keeper.

A satisfying conclusion to The Billionaire's Legacy series! We've been seeing all of Giovonni Di Sione's grandchildren be sent off to hunt for one of his "lost mistresses", a sentimental object that meant a great deal to him that he wanted to see one last time before he dies. With this story, Maisey Yates brings us the story of the last grandson, Alex and we get to learn the story behind it all finally. Alex and Gabby had a fun depth to their relationship when they first met with neither hesitating to speak their mind, therefore bringing a good bit of humor to the plot.

Alessandro Di Sione is the last of Giovonni's grandchildren to be asked to hunt a treasure down for him. He knows what's been tasked to his siblings, so he's been expecting his time to come. Now he's being asked to find a painting that is only rumored to exist, and is beneath a shroud of royal scandal.

When Alex shows up asking about the painting, the Queen sends her granddaughter Gabriella D'Oro to accompany him on his search for it to their old estate on Isolo D'Oro. Alex is the cold, uncaring member of the family and he doesn't hesitate to show Gabby that side of him during their journey, but she gives attitude right back to him and amused, he actually likes it. Can she get him to see that the past that haunts him isn't the man he is today or will he continue to punish himself and withhold any happiness from his future?

Violet Fitzgerald is thought of as a daughter to a rich society family but there is a lot more to this woman who travels the world living of her trust fund the girl with the dreadlocks and the hippy nature but when she is kidnapped and her world is turned upside down you might think for the worst but maybe not.

Elijah Hunt is a billionaire turned mercenary his life was snatched away from him seven years earlier and he becomes someone else he is determined to take revenge on his new boss and he is doing this slowly but when his plans are turned around he kidnaps his bosses daughter but boy does that not turn out the way he planned she is a lot more feisty than he thinks and has him doing things he never thought he would.

WOW this book is amazing the strength that Violet shows as she stands up to Elijah and they fall in love along the way will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and cheering her on and as for Elijah he has so many secrets locked away never to be released but Violet brings them out he needs her so much. This journey is fast paced the emotion is jumping of the pages truly you are not going to want to put this one down I highly recommend reading this one it is powerfully emotional and so very sensual and moving.

I started this book without expectations as such as I had only read one book by this author previously. Nonetheless, I was looking forward to the stories as I enjoyed the previous one I read by Ms Carey.

And yes, you read that right. Stories. You need to read her books to know what I mean by that.

While I read this book, I felt acutely the emotions that were experienced by the protagonists. The flow of the story would not let the situation be otherwise for me.

The characterisation and scenarios of both past and present makes for an enjoyable read.

I won’t go into discussion of everything about the book however I may wish to because I want to keep the review to a length people will consider reading and there are points that I would definitely like to talk about.

Firstly, this talks about the struggle women have been to for us to breathe in a relatively very free atmosphere. his novel set in past and present talks about the struggles of women in the late 19th century. How one decision after another is forced on them. How they are given to believe they have power while they are nothing but mere puppets of society. Not just that, it also brings to light the taboo surrounding divorce (at least in my part of the world). It talks about how life doesn’t end after a divorce. Unlike society thinking it ruining a woman’s life, divorce actually helps a woman better her life once she is no more in a stifling relationship.

Secondly, one thing that I must say that intrigued me so much about the ending of the novel was how it refuted an old saying that history is written by the winners. This book shows how people think they are winners and try changing the course of history but they are in fact the ones who have lost. The truth comes to fore however deep it be hid.

I loved it and will recommend it to anyone who is reading this.

Sarah West is struggling to get her life back on track after the death of her parents and the breakdown of her marriage but a letter found among her father's possessions from the famous Parisian Courtesan Marthe de Florian dated 1895 is about to change her life send her to Paris to investigate a long lost relative Louisa West and actually stay in the Paris apartment that belonged to Marthe herself and to meet the artist Laurent Chartier and then delve back in time to the age of the Belle Epoque and the mystery surrounding her great great aunt how did she die?

This is a fabulously written story that delves back in time and brings Sarah's life full circle there is such a blossoming romance between Laurent and Sarah and the settings both in the 1890's and the present are amazing I honestly felt that MS Carey was transporting me to these places. So much history and romance the characters come to life and of course we got to meet up with Cat and Loic from The Paris Time Capsule and to see how woman struggled back then and the courage that Louisa West showed during her life. I hope I have done justice with this review truly I loved this one from page one and can't recommend it enough do yourself a favour and spend a few hours engrossed in this book. Thank you MS Carey for another keeper

From a Paris Balcony by Ella Carey is a riveting, engrossing tale about two women from different eras…a book where discovery, intrigue, drama and self-realization transport you through a portal of time.

Sarah West discovers about the death of an ancestor named Louisa, through a letter. This letter intrigues her and she wants to know more about this woman, so she travels to Paris to dig further. Her discoveries fascinate her. The story then shifts and we are enlightened about Louisa's history and what Sarah learns changes her perspective on life. She discovers herself through her ancestor's story...and the ending shows how much she has changed compared to the beginning.

Overall, From a Paris Balcony makes for a pleasant and fulfilling read. So kudos to author Ella Carey for writing yet another fascinating tale that intertwines the past and the present.

"From a Paris Balcony" by Ella Carey is one of the BEST books that I've read this year, and I've read quite a few. Sarah West is trying to find strength with the death of her parents. When she is going through her parents possessions she finds a letter that tells about previous time in the life of her family. We are taken into the past to the 1890's and back to the present with such a flow that it is easy to follow and enjoyable to read.

After reading the description of this book. I was intrigued, i just had to find out what happened to Louisa.
The story alternates between the present and the past, so we can see events from the point of view of Sarah and Louisa. Sarah is feeling lost in life, having recently lost both her parents and divorcing her husband. She just doesnt know what to do with herself.
While going through her parents belongings, she comes across a letter from Marthe de Florian, a famous Parisian courtesan. The letter mentions the death of her great great aunt Louisa. Who supposedly died by commiting suicide. It also implies it wasnt suicide. Feeling the need for a connection with her family. Sarah flies off to Paris, determined to find out what really happened.
Staying in Marthe's apartment, Sarah hopes to find some letters from Louisa or Henry. Unfortunately the apartment is already occupied by Laurant a Parisian artist. Desperate to escape her life, Sarah agrees to share the apartment.
I really felt for Louisa, she wasnt a typical woman for her time period. Marrying and giving birth didnt appeal to her. She was all for womens rights, and idolised Emmeline Pankhurst. Something her mother abhorred.
When she meets Henry she thinks he is different from other men. And when he proposes she accepts. Believing her husbands station in life will help her spread the word about womens rights.
Instead she gets a disinterested husband who is only interested in his needs
Luckily Louisa has her brother in law who actually thinks her views are important. To be trapped in a loveless marriage must be awful. And in those days divorce wasnt the done thing.
Sarah doesnt have much luck in finding anything about her ancestor. Only one other letter is found, from Henry to Marthe. On the advice of Laurent she goes to England , to see if the Duvals will tell her anything else.
At first they are reluctant to help Sarah .Eventually Jeremy admits that the part of the house Louisa Henry and Charlie lived in, had been shut up and left how it was. Here Sarah finds one more letter between Henry and Marthe. Nothing to tell her about Louisa.
As she is about to leave the house she asks a member of staff if he knew anything.
Telling Sarah to go to his house away from prying eyes. He finally reveals all.
I wont say anymore, i hope i have peaked your interest into picking up a copy.

An intriguing story! We come across a bit of familiarity from her last novel THE HOUSE BY THE LAKE in this story as answers from the past are sought once again.

Boston art curator Sarah West is newly divorced and trying to find her place in the world alone after also recently losing both parents. While sorting through her father's belongings, she stumbles across a letter that mentions the 1895 death of her great-great-aunt Louisa in Paris. Family legend had always stated that she committed suicide, but some things stated in this letter lead Sarah to wonder if that is actually the case. She sets out on the adventure of a lifetime to see if she can find out the true story.

Sharing an apartment with artist Laurent Chartier in Paris, she visits various locations looking for info. Laurent encourages her not to give up when she hits road blocks, and she eventually finds a source that will be invaluable to finding the answer she seeks.
