An incredibly written and spellbinding book which keeps you entertained and enthralled through the whole mesmerizing read.

I have had the absolute pleasure of reading the two previous books written by Ella and I have to say, that although you don't think the writing could possibly get any better, it does!

Again alternating between the now and then Ella has again created two strong and beautiful women and written with such an element of magic I felt I was right there with Sarah and Louisa. I love the French authenticity and I love the drama and sweeping story.

Highly recommended for those who enjoy a damn good story with all the feels.

I started this book without expectations as such as I had only read one book by this author previously. Nonetheless, I was looking forward to the stories as I enjoyed the previous one I read by Ms Carey.

And yes, you read that right. Stories. You need to read her books to know what I mean by that.

While I read this book, I felt acutely the emotions that were experienced by the protagonists. The flow of the story would not let the situation be otherwise for me.

The characterisation and scenarios of both past and present makes for an enjoyable read.

I won’t go into discussion of everything about the book however I may wish to because I want to keep the review to a length people will consider reading and there are points that I would definitely like to talk about.

Firstly, this talks about the struggle women have been to for us to breathe in a relatively very free atmosphere. his novel set in past and present talks about the struggles of women in the late 19th century. How one decision after another is forced on them. How they are given to believe they have power while they are nothing but mere puppets of society. Not just that, it also brings to light the taboo surrounding divorce (at least in my part of the world). It talks about how life doesn’t end after a divorce. Unlike society thinking it ruining a woman’s life, divorce actually helps a woman better her life once she is no more in a stifling relationship.

Secondly, one thing that I must say that intrigued me so much about the ending of the novel was how it refuted an old saying that history is written by the winners. This book shows how people think they are winners and try changing the course of history but they are in fact the ones who have lost. The truth comes to fore however deep it be hid.

I loved it and will recommend it to anyone who is reading this.

Sarah West finds about her ancestor Louisa’s death by accident from a letter from Marthe de Florian. And she is intrigued and wants to find out more. How did Louisa really die? Was it a suicide? She goes to Paris and moves in with artist Laurent Chartier. And starts seeing life in a new way.
Then we follow Louisa’s story and find out about her remarkable life and love as Sarah delves in her ancestor’s story. Now Sarah knows what path to follow for her own life.

FROM A PARIS BALCONY is an intriguing story following the lives of two remarkable ladies centuries apart. Both their stories are interesting and will take a reader on a journey of self-exploration. Author Ella Carey pens these spell-binding tales with her books that hooks readers and keeps them engrossed till the very last page. And still keep them in the story world long after they close the book.

MS Carey has done it again taken me on a journey back in time with heartfelt emotion, romance and drama I felt like I was back in these times, times of courtesans wild living before wars came and changed the world where people had to be what was expected of them and there were the few that could let themselves be who they wanted to for a short time and struggling females could become famous.

Sarah West is struggling to get her life back on track after the death of her parents and the breakdown of her marriage but a letter found among her father's possessions from the famous Parisian Courtesan Marthe de Florian dated 1895 is about to change her life send her to Paris to investigate a long lost relative Louisa West and actually stay in the Paris apartment that belonged to Marthe herself and to meet the artist Laurent Chartier and then delve back in time to the age of the Belle Epoque and the mystery surrounding her great great aunt how did she die?

This is a fabulously written story that delves back in time and brings Sarah's life full circle there is such a blossoming romance between Laurent and Sarah and the settings both in the 1890's and the present are amazing I honestly felt that MS Carey was transporting me to these places. So much history and romance the characters come to life and of course we got to meet up with Cat and Loic from The Paris Time Capsule and to see how woman struggled back then and the courage that Louisa West showed during her life. I hope I have done justice with this review truly I loved this one from page one and can't recommend it enough do yourself a favour and spend a few hours engrossed in this book. Thank you MS Carey for another keeper

From a Paris Balcony by Ella Carey is a riveting, engrossing tale about two women from different eras…a book where discovery, intrigue, drama and self-realization transport you through a portal of time.

Sarah West discovers about the death of an ancestor named Louisa, through a letter. This letter intrigues her and she wants to know more about this woman, so she travels to Paris to dig further. Her discoveries fascinate her. The story then shifts and we are enlightened about Louisa's history and what Sarah learns changes her perspective on life. She discovers herself through her ancestor's story...and the ending shows how much she has changed compared to the beginning. 

Overall, From a Paris Balcony makes for a pleasant and fulfilling read. So kudos to author Ella Carey for writing yet another fascinating tale that intertwines the past and the present.

"From a Paris Balcony" by Ella Carey is one of the BEST books that I've read this year, and I've read quite a few. Sarah West is trying to find strength with the death of her parents. When she is going through her parents possessions she finds a letter that tells about previous time in the life of her family. We are taken into the past to the 1890's and back to the present with such a flow that it is easy to follow and enjoyable to read.

After reading the description of this book. I was intrigued, i just had to find out what happened to Louisa.
The story alternates between the present and the past, so we can see events from the point of view of Sarah and Louisa. Sarah is feeling lost in life, having recently lost both her parents and divorcing her husband. She just doesnt know what to do with herself.
While going through her parents belongings, she comes across a letter from Marthe de Florian, a famous Parisian courtesan. The letter mentions the death of her great great aunt Louisa. Who supposedly died by commiting suicide. It also implies it wasnt suicide. Feeling the need for a connection with her family. Sarah flies off to Paris, determined to find out what really happened.
Staying in Marthe's apartment, Sarah hopes to find some letters from Louisa or Henry. Unfortunately the apartment is already occupied by Laurant a Parisian artist. Desperate to escape her life, Sarah agrees to share the apartment. 
I really felt for Louisa, she wasnt a typical woman for her time period. Marrying and giving birth didnt appeal to her. She was all for womens rights, and idolised Emmeline Pankhurst. Something her mother abhorred.
When she meets Henry she thinks he is different from other men. And when he proposes she accepts. Believing her husbands station in life will help her spread the word about womens rights.
Instead she gets a disinterested husband who is only interested in his needs
Luckily Louisa has her brother in law who actually thinks her views are important. To be trapped in a loveless marriage must be awful. And in those days divorce wasnt the done thing. 
Sarah doesnt have much luck in finding anything about her ancestor. Only one other letter is found, from Henry to Marthe. On the advice of Laurent she goes to England , to see if the Duvals will tell her anything else.

At first they are reluctant to help Sarah .Eventually Jeremy admits that the part of the house Louisa Henry and Charlie lived in, had been shut up and left how it was. Here Sarah finds one more letter between Henry and Marthe. Nothing to tell her about Louisa.
As she is about to leave the house she asks a member of staff if he knew anything.
Telling Sarah to go to his house away from prying eyes. He finally reveals all.
I wont say anymore, i hope i have peaked your interest into picking up a copy.

An intriguing story! We come across a bit of familiarity from her last novel THE HOUSE BY THE LAKE in this story as answers from the past are sought once again.

Boston art curator Sarah West is newly divorced and trying to find her place in the world alone after also recently losing both parents. While sorting through her father's belongings, she stumbles across a letter that mentions the 1895 death of her great-great-aunt Louisa in Paris. Family legend had always stated that she committed suicide, but some things stated in this letter lead Sarah to wonder if that is actually the case. She sets out on the adventure of a lifetime to see if she can find out the true story.

Sharing an apartment with artist Laurent Chartier in Paris, she visits various locations looking for info. Laurent encourages her not to give up when she hits road blocks, and she eventually finds a source that will be invaluable to finding the answer she seeks.

I am loving this series and this one is a beauty how do you tame one of Hollywood's top stars especially since you have known him forever and there is a secret that is very embarrassing to say the least between you but when Liam Carter needs help with a badly sprained ankle he also needs the help of his best friend's sister Grace Watson who is a physical therapist at The Hollywood Hills Clinic. Get ready for a fabulous rocky road to the ultimate HEA.

Grace works hard at her job in the clinic that has some of the top Hollywood actors as patients and the last time she saw Liam Carter was a long time ago and in a very embarrassing situation a lot has happened to Grace since then but she has never forgotten Liam and now here he is needing help that will put them together closely for a few days will this open up her feelings that she has kept under control for so long how is the strong Grace going to cope?

Liam Carter has worked hard to get to where he is today after the life he had growing up it has left him a little scared and so sure he is not the picket fence kind of guy no marriage or relationships for Liam hard work and fun. But when he meets up with Grace again the feelings and emotions he thought buried have come to the surface she pulled at his heart years ago and it seems she still can with her caring and kind ways can she get him to see the truth?

I highly recommend this one it is sensual moving and was a joy to read it had me turning the pages and smiling as the banter between them is so good they have a lot to open up about including that trench coat I won't say anymore other than to say this is a must read.

An awesome addition to a fantastic series. Fast paced, humorous and and a thoroughly enjoyable read which is hard to put down. Liam needs to attend an important premier but doesn't want the world to know he's injured and can't walk properly. His next project, a life changing, career changing project, depends on it. Enlisting the help of his friend James's clinic, he's put into the hands of the best physio there is, Grace. Unfortunately Grace and Liam go way back and this meeting is awkward times a million. I loved the fast paced story, the glitzy glamour of the premier, mixed with the behind the scenes look of what probably does happen with celebrities while they're getting ready for their interviews. I loved Grace's no nonsense approach when it came to her job and I loved the back stories and how the characters developed. I also liked that Grace wasn't the Grace that Liam remembers and how he handles her scars and dashed dreams. In my opinion Amalie Berlin writes with a freshness that's thoroughly enjoyable to read and I throughly recommend this story to anyone who hasn't read medicals before, anyone who's following this series and anyone who's not read Amalie before (and especially if you have). This story was the sunshine of my day! They come together recently, but also share a past. Liam and Grace knew each other growing up. Her brother and Liam are really close friends, and Grace tried to seduce Liam one night (long before this current connection) of which he rebuffed her seduction. There is quite a bit to this story. We learn about both of their pasts, and see what brings them together. I love this series and their story. Liam rejected her then and now they will find out they have to work together to achieve what needs to be done. Now Grace is a top physical therapist and Liam is a Hollywood hottest property and she needs to get him literally back on his feet. Grace had tempted him years ago and now tempts him even more. Liam is so sure he does not want the typical marriage with the picket fence or such but when he meets back up with Grace those hidden emotions come bubbling up to the top. Liam has a big premier coming up and must be on his feet so he does not look like an injured and he has to listen to Grace and follow all her instructions. On the eve of their divorce and after a long 12 months Coburn and Diana come face to face at Coburn’s best friend’s engagement party.  His prepared speech dead in the water, Coburn proceeds to deliver a speech  for which he won’t be thanked and which clearly shows his wife still brings out the worst in him.   They finally have their long overdue discussion which leads to a very intimate scene on a balcony and a beautifully heartbreaking one in the bedroom.  The divorce doesn’t take place but consequences of that night send Coburn on a mission around the world to retrieve Diana and haul her home determined to make his marriage work.

Diana is a surgeon (no this isn’t a medical) and her long hours had driven her and Coburn apart, in English that translates to Coburn wasn’t mature enough to share her with her demanding job, they had an image to uphold and he was selfishly sick of only being half of the image.  No this isn’t a Medical romance although a medical emergency was a pivotal moment in the book.  Flashbacks show Diana being pulled and tugged in all directions, Coburn, her job, her parents; it’s only fair she snaps.  Coburn runs the country’s largest automotive manufacturer and I love how he’s not the typical Presents hero (actually neither is Diana) but he comes through just as strong and as passionate as any other Presents hero does.  I love how he tells Diana they have soul-searching to do and I love how he does his best to give their marriage a second shot.

There are many reasons why I give this story 5 stars… the first being Jennifer Hayward has a magical way with words.  Perfect imagery and amazing little details to describe a moment…  Coburn gave his silk tie a tug so it didn’t feel as if he was choking on his own cynicism… The room was so silent you could hear the clinking of swizzle sticks as the bartenders mixed drinks… Every party, social function, night he’d come home to an empty house flashed through his head in rapid-fire succession to counter the stab of pain that lanced through him… the dagger cut through her as cleanly as her own surgeon’s scalpel…  I could do an entire emotional autopsy on you Coburn… I can just go on and on and I must also mention the start of Chapter Five when Coburn finds out about Diana’s secret.  I was right there on that street, watching the coffee cup, hoping it didn’t fall off the roof of the car and I felt the wind in my face when they sailed together later on.

Other reasons, I loved the fantastic and explosive dialogue, I was totally hooked from the first chapter and I took everything chance I could to devour the book in the weekend I started reading it.  I loved the different from normal characters and I loved the backstories and the originality of Coburn’s workplace emergency.  I loved that Coburn tried to genuinely make things work but it wouldn’t be a Presents if things were resolved easily.

Please look up the opening chapter Jennifer has put on Wattpad, the opening chapter had me hooked, I loved it and the remaining story was just as breathtaking.

REUNITED FOR THE BILLIONAIRE'S LEGACY by Jennifer Hayward is the second book in The Tenacious Tycoon series. It tells the story of Diana Taylor and Coburn Grant.

I personally feel Ms. Hayward has done an incredible job penning this story. With the right words the author brings out the raw emotions her characters feel, giving readers a clear perspective to the renewed romance that builds with each chapter. The characters are strong, resilient and well-developed. And for me Diana proves to be the one with the most strength and self-will to face her problems head on. Coburn has the will of a warrior and his strength and his masculine grace makes him the perfect hero for his heroine. The dialogue is edgy and the chemistry just catches fire between the pages…

Will Diana and Coburn reach the pinnacle of their HEA without obstacles distracting them or would they have to fight a battle of will to claim the happiness they so rightfully deserve?

Overall, REUNITED FOR THE BILLIONAIRE'S LEGACY is a beautiful story and the perfect escape read for fans needing a timeout from a long day of hard work. Sit back, prop your feet up and enjoy!

Now Coburn wanted to try to put their marriage together again for the sake of the baby. Could Diana try it for the baby’s sake, for Coburn’s sake and for her own sake? What about Diana’s career? This one is a story of passion and a need to be honest with each other on the eve of their divorce Diana and Coburn come face to face at a party they have managed to steer clear of each other for the past year but with Diana deciding to do something that she really wants to do to make a difference she is pulled to see her husband just before the papers are signed and this starts Coburn's blood boiling with passion.

Diana had lead a life with a father who thought nothing of having affairs and a mother that just put up with them but now she is a surgeon and a good one but when she marries billionaire Coburn Grant their marriage is hot explosive and filled with passion but neither are willing to give for each other you see Coburn's childhood was not the best either so when their marriage ends they avoid each other until now when their supposedly last night of marriage ends very pleasurably but leaves Diana pregnant this will change their lives.

This is such a great story that will pull you in and have you turning the pages as Coburn all but kidnaps Diana to an island paradise when he finds out she is pregnant to discuss their lives and that of their child there are many conflicts to overcome but their passion is still there stronger than ever but Diana wants love from Coburn the love that she still has for him, you will love their rocky journey to a HEA their honesty and the sensuality that you can feel from them is awesome. I highly recommend this story I am never disappointed with one of MS Haywards stories.

Coburn Grant a CEO of his family company and his soon to be surgeon ex wife Diana go to the same party the day before they are to sign divorce papers. Diana and Coburn had arguments mainly about her always working as she was building her career, after one such argument she walked out and never came back. Since Coburn has not seen her since , Sounds like it would be an interesting party to be at, true because they find themselves in a discussion that moves to Coburn's apartment and then to yes you guessed it bed. 

Coburn decides at the lawyers office that he wants more time before he signs the divorce which angers Diana as she wants to start new by going to Africa with Doctors without borders, that sounds like a plan but she finds out two weeks after her one night with Coburn that she is pregnant. She leaves for Africa anyway and a misplaced call lets Coburn know about the pregnancy. So he flies to Africa to bring her back feeling like in his words "he entered an alternate universe where condoms failed on the one night you had sex with your ex , who you were now tied to for at least the next two decades". Coburn is incredible any women can only wish they had someone that would love them like he does Diana, at times too much but he is to die for when you realize how much he loves her. Coburn and Diana both have family issues that have clouded their understanding of love however their love for each other is so deep that no matter what it will survive. 

That is all I will tell you readers about this story because its an incredible book by Jennifer Hayward that only reaffirms what an amazing talented author she is. Jennifer gave me this book for an honest review and I cannot thank her enough because I have loved all her books and this one is another fantastic one. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. This is the second book of Grant brothers and I knew in the first that Coburn had to have his own story. I thank her for the book and thank you for Coburn he is a keeper. Never miss a Jennifer Hayward book they are everything a romance reader could ask for and more. A KEEPER.

Diana and Coburn are about to divorce after a long separation and it is time that everything be settled between them for them to finally move forward (not really the case for Coburn).

Seeing each other at Coburn's friend's engagement ceremony - which I must mentioned that Coburn ruined with his Best Man speech - they could not resist once more tumbling into bed. The chemistry still has a high sizzle and sparkle. A tumble that has consequences.

*I don't think that is giving away anything because the cover as much already.

Well... back to what I think.

Without informing her husband, (yes, husband. He won't sign the papers. Totally believes she is hiding something and he is so on the mark with that.) Diana goes off to the Africa to help people. Did I mention she is a doctor? She is! Though there were times when all she wanted was a career in the City but now is running away. Running away from Coburn. Woman just stand and fight for your man.

But, the cat gets out of the bag and Coburn finds out about the baby. How can he let his baby suffer in the wilds of Africa, right? They are thinking more about each other rather than the baby at the moment to be honest.

In the guise of making a perfect home for the baby, they work out their differences and welcome their little one along with their forever after

No one really ever wants to get a divorce, yes sure you do if your husband has gone from kissing you senseless to knocking you senseless , so sure sometimes there is a good reason but for the most part I think it’s never really a I want to.

But imagine for a second if you really do for whatever reason, and it gets denied? Heck what do you do then?  That’s the reality Diana Taylor has to face, her marriage to playboy Corburn Grant was short, passionate and blazed brighter than the sun, until the reality of their worlds kick in.

Years later , it has come to either we just continue this mess or we end it, so Corburn finally agrees to a divorce, but then who wants to let his or her partner walk away without one last fling amongst the sheets? Not these two, but their last night seals their fates when Diana becomes pregnant. 

Now what?

Diana knows what, she will never get Corburn to sign the papers and she will never get away from him. Being whisked away to a paradise island and having to deal with the ever growing always persistent huger between them certainly does not help her quest. Will he win her back again or will she once again want to run?

In the start of the book I really did not like Coburn, but as the author started to show him as he truly was I got quite the kick out of his little antics. Diana was fun and creative, I really liked her “Oh word what do I do now” moments of panic, I felt sorry for her of course, but it was very entertaining to see how the author got her through those moments of panic.

A brilliantly written read of life aiming a curveball and striking its target head on!  Beautiful plot with exquisite emotion, tears, joy, passion, heartache, frustration you name it this book had all of the emotions that make an A class romance read.

One thing that struck me as particularly fun was the intense fire between the characters, I have felt that in this author’s other books but this time it was more amplified, almost as if the author has found some new way of expressing herself, the fire was intense, in your face and very much leapt from the pages, the read was alive!

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romances. Jennifer‘s books are like diamonds, they will always, always be the magic to make hearts melt!

I think an author truly nails it when they have the ability make you feel a range of emotions ranging from disbelief, laughter, emotion, sadness; in fact a whole spectrum of emotions, some at once and some all at the same time!   This is exactly how Dani Collins made me feel as I read Vows of Revenge - the epitome of revenge stories.

Usually with revenge stories the Hero will threaten to reap revenge but it kind of never really happens.  In Vows of Revenge, it totally does and when it does that's when the feeling of disbelief hits, he did NOT just do that I thought... but oh yes, Roman very cleverly and heart-breakingly reaps revenge on Melodie; so sure she's in his sanctuary as an undercover who's trying to seek industrial secrets from him.  My heart bottoms out with Melodie's reaction. 

Security specialist Roman is a very private man who agrees to host his P.A's wedding at his private home.  Melodie is like an excited little butterfly, about to organise her very first wedding.  Recklessly Melodie throws all thought to the wind and the two end up in bed but all is dashed when Roman tells her exactly what he's done and why.  It's about now you know your'e reading about the worlds biggest ass and wondering how on earth is he going to redeem himself or fix things so you're still hanging on every sentence hoping the two get their happy ever after... trust me when I say the author absolutely manages to do this and more which brings me back to my first point, an author truly nails it when they have the ability to make you feel a range of emotions - but most of all achieving what she wants us as readers to do - believe!  Believe in the journey, love the characters, laugh and cry with them and believe they will get their happy ever after!

I loved Roman's unique character and I loved how he tried to atone for his behavior.  He was a true conqueror of the wrongs he both experienced and caused. Melodie was driven by her promise to her Mother and I'm so glad that happened.

Dani Collin's Vows of Revenge is a wonderfully emotive story filled with two characters battling where they've come from and trying to make their own way in the world.  A tough childhood has helped shape Roman into the man he is and it takes a pretty special girl slip through the cracks.  A wonderful story about two people who are complete opposites but so destined to be and their journey of learning even up until the point Roman lets Melodie go and live her dream... much like the concept if you love something you must let it go... but if you haven't told what you've let go you love them, how do they know to come back?

This is such a great story fast paced sinfully sensual a story that will grab you from the first page with so many emotions flying off the pages. It is beautifully written with characters very real.

Melodie Parnell really has not had a good childhood growing up her father and half brother are both cold blooded and greedy men who have never shown Melodie any love or caring they have always put her down and she has had to work hard to overcome the insecurity and her mother was treated the same and when she loses her mother Melodie starts a new life with a promise to her mother and is working hard to make it come true. She has always dreamt the she would find passionate love that would turn to marriage and a family and maybe she has found it with the gorgeous Roman Killian.

Roman Killian grew up in foster homes and learnt at a very young age to never show feelings or emotions but when he is given a chance by a family he works hard and becomes the best in his field of security but he is burnt badly by a father and son and left broke but stronger he rebuilds his business to even higher levels he travels the world and enjoys what he has but he really is a loner but can things change for Roman when he meets Melodie who is part of the family he wants revenge on.

I loved this story from start to finish as Roman and Melodie journey along a rough path to a beautiful HEA as they enjoy such a passionate and sensual affair traveling the world Melodie finally gets Roman to open up and the joy it brings them both and the reader will have you tearing up and smiling. I highly recommend this story don't miss it.

"Vows of Revenge" by Dani Collins is a quick, enjoyable read. I have read a few books from this author and she has a way to keep the reader enthralled.

This is the story of Melodie Parnell and Roman Killian. She is kept emotionally and physically innocent by her father and brother. He is seeking revenge against his enemy by taking it out on the daughter. The relationship is complicated by many emotions and lies.

There is much more to this book but it deserves to be read rather than me telling you about it.

Melodie Parnell is out there to make a name for herself without the leverage her father's name lends; him being a senator. She does not even use her father's name. Choosing to start a wedding planning business after her mother's death to fulfill her mother's last wish, she gets on the path getting a client. Her mother's friend's daughter and is all ready to go and scope the venue for the wedding. A venue that is the residence of not only Melodie's client's boss but also the residence of the man who holds the feelings of enmity to her father. That man is Roman Killian; a super genius in the security industry.

Roman finds out that the wedding planner for his assistant is none other but his enemy's daughter and he believes her to be her father's spy planted in his house to bring the man inside information. The power he now wields, he gets the wheels set in motion to get the woman evicted from the small house that she rents in Virginia because he seriously believes she does not really need the place when her father owns a mansion where she was definitely living like a princess.
The truth is not anywhere near what Roman believes and one mistake he makes in his own bed makes him run after the woman to make things right.

Melodie on the other hand wants to have nothing to do with Roman again. She had believed him to be different from the men she had known at home but she, like her trust, was all battered and she had a long journey to get her mother where she had always wanted to be.

It is up to Roman to come out of the shell he had hidden himself into, to make the woman he loved to believe him when he says he loves her and wants a lifetime and more with her.

A journey where he not only encourages her to do what she is passionate about, he actively aids her too.

The sign of his love when he lets her be herself and does not stifle her after he has gotten her fired twice.

New York City Docs is a series about four flatmates and friends sharing an apartment trying to be the best they can be at the prestigious West Manhattan Saints Hospital.  Surgeon, Rivals... Lovers is Kimberlyn's story.

An incredibly descriptive beginning leads the way to an edge of your seat emergency on the side of the road.  Kimberlyn whispers the steps through so she can do her job to the best of her ability and not be distracted with memories of her own past trauma.  Sprinting to the scene and assisting is Enzo, aka, Dr Chisel Jaw.  They work tirelessly on the scene and it's soon revealed both parties are surgical rivals... about to start battling it out in the residency program both vying for the same fellowship.

Surgeon, Rivals... Lovers is a fast paced and full of action story where I was so on the edge of my seat with everything going on.  Not just the story fits the fast paced category but the hustle of the hospital, the drive of the Drs desperately trying to climb the ladder, battling out every surgery and anything that may impress their superior.  Spending so much time together, even though they're rivals, Kimberlyn and Enzo can't fight their attraction to each other and this just adds to the chaos around them.

Fabulous medical romance.  I'm taking deep breaths, much like the ones you take after sprinting because that's how wrapped up I became in the story.  Sad to reach the last page.

An awesome addition to the 4 book series.

Dr Kimberlyn Davis encountered a motor vehicle accident on her first day of work and Dr Enzo DellaTorro was there within a few minutes to assist her. She did know that she was in competition with Enzo at the new hospital for the same position. Would Enzo play underhand with her?

 

So who would finally win the position? Would Enzo sacrifice for Kim or would it be her to sacrifice?

SURGEONS, RIVALS…LOVERS is a very fast paced romance filled with medical drama. The setting itself is fast as it is in New York. I found the dialogue to be witty and fun. Author Amalie Berlin’s latest offering would touch every girl’s heart and make her root for Kim to find her happy ending as well as happiness for Enzo.

Highly recommended for all readers of medical romance.

What happens when two very determined Doctors are aiming to win the fellowship offered in trauma surgery at a top New York hospital the sparks fly in more ways than one.

When Dr Kimberlyn Davis and Dr Enzo DellaTorro first meet at a road accident that has them both working hard to save someone's life and taking each other in, they are both impressed with each other's doctoring skills but there is something else there as well but both of these people have been through a lot in their lives and with sparks flying and getting hotter who is going to win or is falling in love with each other going to change how they feel.

This is a great story that will have you turning the pages it is emotional and sensual as both Kimberlyn and Enzo open up to each other the banter is great and it will have you smiling I loved the setting New York and a beautiful scene in Central Park will please enormously.

I highly recommend this story for romance readers who love medical stories and love seeing such a great HEA.

"Surgeons, Rivals.....Lovers" by Amalie Berlin is a quick, medical romance read. Dr. Kimberlyn Davis comes across a accident scene and through her quick resources is able to get an accident victim to the hospital. Dr. Enzo DellaTorro comes upon the scene and isn't too keen that another Dr. is able to diagnose someone before he can.

Both Dr.'s are up for the same position at the hospital. In this story you'll find how the past affects the future, and whether or not they will have a happy ending.

Dr Kinberlyn and Dr Lorenzo (Enzo) are both after the fellowship in Trauma surgery offered by Dr Ootaka.

Enzo had been the top contender till Kimberlyn showed up. Probably even after that as in his own words he does not consider her to be competition or a threat to him getting the fellowship.

They call a truce and stop being rude and mean to each other but it does not stop there. They meet, they talk and feelings develop. They develop to a point till the time they both start hoping the other gets the fellowship or a miracle happens and they both get chosen.

Not giving away the climax in here, but one thing I must mention is that emotional scars do way more harm than any physical scar can to the psyche of a person.

Dr. Kimberlyn Davis had a bad car accident and lost her friend Janie. She had to have several surgeries and deferred her residency to a year. She went to a new hospital where no one knew her and about the accidents. On the way to the hospital the first day she encountered an accident and stopped to help. Within minutes Dr. Enzo Della Torro was there to help her. She was in competition with Enzo for the same trauma surgery position at the hospital. Dr. Davis knew exactly how to take care of the accident victim and road with the ambulance to the hospital. Dr, Takeo Ootaka was the Dr. that took care of Mr. Elliot when the ambulance got him to the hospital and Dr. Ootaka asked Dr. Davis to help in OR. 


There was the competition between Kimberlyn and Enzo and sparks were flying also between them. He was intrigued with Kimberlyn’s scars and realized that her scar on her chest meant serious surgery. 


You will have to read to find out who gets the position at the hospital, if Kimberlyn and Enzo fall totally for each other. You will not be disappointed in reading this Medical Romance.

Another thoroughly enjoyable read from Amalie Berlin! One of my favorite Harlequin Medical authors and this one doesn't disappoint! Two doctors competing for the same fellowship who can't seem to treat each other like the competition. I liked the hero and heroine, Enzo and Kimberlyn, and was anxious to see who would end up getting the coveted fellowship with Dr. Ootaka. The results didn't disappoint! Looking forward to her next release and highly recommend this one if you enjoy Harlequin's Medical line!
