Locking down the Hero's computer systems to help negotiate her path away from deportation and to secure her future doesn't exactly go to plan.

A super interesting Heroine called Luli, who has phenomenal computer skills is a winning character for me.  What I loved about this story was the unique plot line, the super clever heroine and the wonderful descriptions which paint the picture of a girl in a world she knows nothing about and everything is full of culture shock and change.  It's almost like I was experiencing Luli's new world with her.

I thought the story flowed nicely and the touches of ultra richness were nicely placed through the story and the only thing we're limited by is our imagination.  There was only one thing I'd do differently if I was even half as skilled as writing as Dani, and that's maybe make Luli slightly older.

Wonderful read, wonderful story and characters and super, super wonderful cover.

Thank you Dani Collins.

UNTOUCHED UNTIL HER ULTRA-RICH HUSBAND by author Dani Collins is a June 2019 release by Harlequin Presents series.

Gabriel Dean, a billionaire tycoon, finds out his grandmother has died. He had no contact with her. So he didn’t know how she conducted her business. But he inherited her millions. But on arriving at her mansion in Singapore, he finds out her assistant, Luli, has locked her millions with custom coded software. He finds himself intrigued and infuriated by her in equal measures.

Who was she who could break into the high-level coding he provided to clients from his software company? How could she break the highly sophisticated codes? And what did she want in return?

UNTOUCHED UNTIL HER ULTRA-RICH HUSBAND is an intriguing romance. The prickly dialogue Luli used to hide behind is fun to read and all our sympathies go to her, yet she is not a weak girl. She manages to bring Gabriel to heel. Author Dani Collins brought this story to live on the pages where a reader would sympathize with Luli and Gabriel yet root for them too. They both have to come out from their past issues and forge ahead. And a reader would stay stuck to the pages till the end trying to guess and ultimately find out how it all ends.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

This story really hit the spot for sensual romance in the Presents/Modern line, we have a multi-billionaire hero and a virgin heroine both with pasts that they need to work on, hero Gabriel Dean is certain he will never love and heroine Luli Cruz wants love and to be independent, will these two find what they want, will Luli convince Gabriel that love is what he needs?

Gabriel is altered to his grandmothers passing by a text message, they were never close, but he moves fast to reach Singapore ASAP, to discover that he is her heir and that the text was sent by his grandmother’s assistant a beautiful young lady, but then he discovers that she has made sure that he will not be able to get his inheritance until her needs are met. Instantly the sparks fly and the outcome is marriage.

Luli arrived in Singapore at the age of fourteen, she is now twenty two and has never been independent, she has worked hard for Mae and been cared for better than her own mother did but freedom she has never had. Now Mae has gone it is her chance to gain what she wants from Mae’s grandson but marrying into such wealth was not what she planned, but there is a pull towards Gabriel that she cannot deny for long.

This is a sensual story with fabulous banter as Luli stands up to Gabriel in so many ways proving how strong she is after what she has been through, Gabriel finds Luli open and honest and that is one of the things that makes him fall for her, and of course her beauty and sensual pull but when he realizes he is in love with her it is magical, Gabriel and Luli are a match made in heaven. I loved this one and can highly recommend it.

Hot Seal Redemption by Lynn Raye Harris - HOT SEAL Team #5

Sparks are flying left right and center for Camel and Bailey, two people who would never have met had Bailey's sister gone awol and left lil Ana behind claiming Camel to be the father.

Loved the opening of the book, it grabbed me and the story was ON!  I really loved how Lynn Raye Harris made Bailey's occupation ok and how it contributed to the story really well and how Bailey's place of occupation assisted with the story really well!  The adventure built steadily, along with Camel and Bailey's attraction to each other and I enjoyed Ian Black's appearance.  Of course, a highlight is always the epilogue which LRH, without fail, delivers another cliffhanger.  The dashing ending is edge of the seat stuff when bad guys place is busted just in time and I'm intrigued as to who the other girl was.

Another wonderful installment and a glimpse into the lives of other favorite characters.

Please keep 'em coming Lynn, I LOVE them!

Jennifer Hayward’s writing is exceptional. She nails emotion and always makes you feel like if this was the last book you’d ever read, that would be ok. Commencing the story is always great, a middle part always capturing and the finale is always wrapped up in a non rushed satisfying manner.

I loved the coffee shop chat and how it was central to the characters twice. I loved the dramatic business side of things and I loved the friendship that had been built up over the year. The 10 days in Milan was an exciting background and the sports side was central in an exciting way. Dramatic ex’s and backstory which warmed the heart.

Loved this story very much and highly recommend it.

This is the second book in this series and again MS Hayward has bought the characters to life on the pages, making them real people with real feelings and emotions, she brings out their strengths and insecurities and also took me on a fabulous trip from New York to gorgeous Milan and left this reader a very happy reader.

Lazzero Di Fiore runs a sports clothing and accessories company with his brother Santo, they have worked hard building this empire with passion and Lazzero will go to any lengths to make it bigger and when the opportunity arises for a chance to make it bigger he needs a fake fiancé to take to Milan with him, someone who understands that love and marriage are not what he wants that it will be a business deal only and who better than his favourite barista.

Chiara Ferrante is a barista a very good one, she works hard to help her father keep his bakery going and that is a struggle and she has been hurt badly before from one of “the suits” as she calls them men of money and top lifestyles, she is convinced she will never be part of that world, but when Lazzero makes an offer she can’t refuse that will help her father, she steps back into that world determined to keep her eyes wide open this time and her heart.

This story moves fast and is fabulous I just loved both Lazzero and Chiara a couple made in heaven as far as I am concerned, Chiara is strong and feisty but also vulnerable because of what she has been through and Lazzero what can I say I want him, he is so loving, thoughtful and shows such passion. This is a sensual moving story that should not be missed I highly recommend and I look forward to Santo’s story. MS Hayward knows how to make a reader feel part of the story thank you.

A handsome sheikh who needs to protect the monarchy. A beautifully brave woman who is desperately righting a wrong. Kidnapping drama. Family irritations. A magnificent desert. A stunning falcon and a loyal dog.

I haven’t been reading for a while and am getting back into it with this beautiful story by Rachael. I absolutely loved it for its softness and swirls of hardness against family dramas and two people who knew at first sight.

HOT Angel
by Lynn Raye Harris
How memorable and exciting are these characters? How awesome is the action and how AAARGH is the cliff hanger for Hacker? 100, that's how!

Brooke gets her story and her man in Hot Angel.  Traumatised by past events she's a closed book and not conventionally brave when it comes to chatting to Cade, one of the first men who makes her look twice!  The texting is unique and quite a huge enjoyable part of this book and before you know it you're reaching the last page.  (insert sad face hehe).

The adventure is awesome and a mix of local and Columbian and while it's a horrible time for Brooke, it's the catalyst which makes the two realise what they mean to each other.

A super, super enjoyable story which had me at hello.  I LOVED Max and OMG, the cliff hanger for Hacker!  Helllooo!

Odir Faouk is about to become king and has a problem, he needs a wife by his side. No problem he has a wife but she left him and he needs to get her back. This is a debut book by Pippa Roscoe and after reading you will put her on your follow list. She has put these two people together again and written a story that takes place over 2 days and what an amazing two days they are . Eloise is feisty and Odir is determined and together you get an amazing story that you won't want to end, but end it does with a super lovely Epilogue. Loved this story and can't wait for her next.

A royal reunion! With her debut Harlequin Presents novel, Pippa Roscoe takes us deep into the heart of a potential royal disaster ... and the drama does NOT disappoint! Her characters have a richness to them that even though they are attempting to hold themselves aloof from their feelings, have the ability to show their tender side with each other, even when they may not want to. The plot is fast paced and attention grabbing from the start. I deem it a big success and look forward to watching her voice shine in future books!

Odir Farouk is hours away from being crowned King but needs his estranged wife by his side. Though their marriage was arranged, it had potential to become something special until he decided to guard his heart and treat her indifferently.

Eloise gave their marriage her best shot, but she couldn't stand being shoved to the wayside and forgotten day after day after day. He couldn't have made it more clear that he didn't even want to spend time with her, much less share his life. When he needs her by his side for the good of his country, she'll make a few demands of her own this time!

This is a fabulous debut, fast paced, sensual, a marriage that ended before it started, a marriage where the heroine was pushed into it by a domineering father and the hero who wanted what was best for his country get yourself comfortable because you are not going to want to put this one down.

Odir Farouk Al Arkrim is prince of Farrehed and his brother had had a great childhood that is until they lost their mother and their father lost his senses he was so in love with his wife that when she was gone he caused a lot of problems with his country. Odir is never going to do that he has seen what love can do, so when he marries beautiful British Eloise although they met and have been friends before the engagement, he cannot afford to be distracted by her in anyway and when he abandons her on their wedding night and then finds her in a compromising situation and sends her away he keeps doing what he must. But now he needs her back after six months apart.

Eloise has grown up as an ambassador’s daughter travelling the world with her parents you would think that her life would have been fantastic but think again she never got the love that children need her father is overbearing and when he wants something he is happy to blackmail his daughter to get her to marry Odir. Eloise agrees and she likes Odir he is easy to get along with at the beginning but things change very quickly when they marry.

After spending six months apart Eloise has learnt a lot and is a much stronger person so when she is invited to attend an event by Odir she goes but to ask for a divorce, things have changed in her life but they have also changed for Odir he is about to become King and to do that properly he needs his Queen beside him. The sensual spark the push and pull between these two could light up London there are a lot of secrets that have been kept and until both open up their lives cannot go forward. I really felt for both Odir and Eloise and what they had been through Eloise is so strong and caring as is Odir in his own way it took him a bit of time to learn that he could love and when he did, together they became one and love flourished. Congrats on a fabulous debut MS Roscoe I look forward to many more from you and this is one that I highly recommend.

The Prince's Captive Virgin by Maisey Yates (Once Upon a Seduction #1)

Review by TashNz - 4 Stars

Captivating tale with the essence of Beauty and the Beast.

I really enjoyed this read because I was captivated to see how the heroine could be written to genuinely love the hero given his appearance and that technically she had been kidnapped but Maisey Yates managed it well as she always does when she spins creatively.

Another reason I enjoyed the read was because while it followed the famed Beauty and the Beast story it was still it's own story and I loved the faithfulness it had.

A very captivating tale, as old as time :)

Sicilian's Baby of Shame by Carol Marinelli (Billionaire's and One Night Heirs #3)

Review by TashNz | 4 Stars

I enjoyed my second story in this trilogy of books.  I like how the two characters met and how Sophie on that one particular day threw all caution to the wind and went with her instincts.  Two highly unlikely characters to get a happy ever after together did so in a story that was entertaining, unique and a very interesting read.

I love how Bastiano was portrayed to the outside world as an unlikeable chap but from Sophie's eyes she's seen nothing but "nice".  I was intrigued by his back story and am very much looking forward to Sophie's friends story where she is marrying the Sultan!

A story I literally made myself finish in one sitting, so bleary eyed this morning and one that I recommend to all who love something different, something that pushes boundaries on the characters and anyone who loves Carol Marinelli's wonderful world of imagination.

Wow! Loved the suspense, intrigue and the drama of this story which was by an author I have not read before and a series I'm now 200% interested in!

I liked how the story jumped right in. I was fully invested. I made the mistake of reading the first page at a time it was impossible to sit down and keep going... I couldn't wait to get back to it and find out who the killer was.

I was questioning if Tucker was involved, although deep down I thought unlikely but i liked how it could have been possible. I liked the flashbacks - or sidebacks - not sure what you call them when the main story is occurring and then there's a snippet of what the bad guy is doing. I liked how all the characters were established and the preview of the next book at the end of the story - OMIGOSH!

A suspenseful and drama filled tale of a killer on the loose, trying to establish who he is while time runs out and watching long lost love get a second chance.

Loved loved loved it!

Turn Me Loose by Anne Calhoun (Alpha Ops #6)

Review by Tash Nz | 5 Stars

I absolutely adored this book which is about Ian, the brother Jaime from one of Anne's earlier novella's called The Seal's Second Chance

I want to say I didn't want this story to end but on the other hand couldn't wait to get to the end to find out who, where, what, why and how! With a fantastic plot and enough back story to keep turning the page, I was totally caught up in Riva and Ian's worlds and litterally thru the holding my breath moments I was seriously on the edge of my seat.

Turn Me Loose is an exciting, fast paced and action packed story of two people who met under very interesting circumstances back when Riva was in College. I loved the history of Riva and Ian and I loved how it was laid out slowy the attraction between the two and how it was clear they both had unfinished business. Turn Me Loose is the perfect example of how flashbacks can work and each flashback added to the story. A great analogy would be completing a jigsaw, each piece I read helped pain the picture. I really enjoyed the unique occupation Riva had and how she could use it to her advantage against her father.

I thought Turn Me Loose is a solid read with everything in it; mystery, drama, romance and Ian and Riva completely made the story! Ian was heroic in more ways than one and Riva was the bravest girl I've read about in a long time. I couldn't put it down and when i had to I was constantly thinking about the story. I finished feeling gutted I'd reached the end but 120% satisfied!

I loved loved loved this story and once again Anne Calhoun has me smiling even now that I write this and I finished the story a week ago. Definitely a shelf keeper and 100% will read again!

Synopsis:  When she was on the verge of adulthood, Riva Henneman committed a crime and got caught red-handed. Luckily, she was busted by a HOT young cop...who also had a big heart. A one-time SEAL candidate, Officer Ian Hawthorn knew how it felt to have your dreams derailed. So he gave Riva a choice: face prison time or work for him as a confidential informant. But even a get-out-of-jail-free card comes with a cost. . .

Years later, Ian still remembers beautiful, innocent Riva--and the smoldering attraction they shared but both tried to ignore. Will they have a second chance, now that they're back in each other's lives? Riva's work with inner-city children has led to a surprise run-in with Ian, who has his own agenda--one that could put them both in grave danger. Is their desire worth the risk this time?

The high octane suspense and super sizzling romance continues with Turn Me Loose, the third novel in the Alpha Ops series by Anne Calhoun.

The Secret Heir of Alazar by Kate Hewitt

Review by TashNz - 5 Stars

Malik and Gracies story is one of reunited love and it's filled with rich descriptions of beautiful desert lands and palaces and the heartfelt emotion shines thru every page.

Ten years ago Malik and Gracie meet in Rome and share a memorable night. Destined not to be together Malik doesn't discover the consequences until recently after receiving terrible news.  The Sultan-to-be needs Gracie and Sam to save his kingdom and he goes about convincing them to stay.

Three lives and hearts are on the line, battle for peace in Malik's world and the life changing moments for him create a story that is spellbinding and had me glued in one sitting.  A man of integrity and a man determined to do the right thing by his family makes Malik a wonderful and throughly interesting Hero. Loved Gracie and her happy nature despite what life had thrown her way.  I was racing thru the wonderfully woven tale because I couldn't contain my curiosity to how everything would be resolved and I was throughly entertained with the conclusion.

I am excited for book 2, I think it will be as incredibly detailed and perhaps even more emotive than The Secret Heir of Alazar.

Thank you Kate Hewitt for another wonderful, wonderful tale told!

HOT Addiction by Lynn Raye Harris

Review by TashNz | 5 Stars

Woken up in the early AM by the tail end of Cyclone Debbie passing through my end of the world I turned on my Kindle and decided to check out a chapter of HOT Addiction... since then it's been 3 days of feeding my addiction of getting through this book as soon as possible!

I absolutely loved HOT Addiction because the action was immediate, the "feels" were tapped into straight away, the suspense and danger were ramped up as each page passed and also because reunion stories done right (and this was done SO right!) hit me right where my lil reader's heart gets hit!

Dex is left shattered when Belle leaves him at the alter, seemingly for his high school competitive enemy.  He channels his hurt and anger by becoming the best Sniper he can be and has built up a little wall of hate around his heart with all things Belle, so when she comes to him 5 years later and begs for his help after her husband has been killed and she's being threatened, he laughs in her face and skids out the drive in a very excellent metaphorical "eat my dust" lady!

Of course, if Dex did keep his back turned on her, his and Belle's story wouldn't exist!

Very quickly the world of drama, high end action, suspense, lost love, passion, truckloads of emotion, feels, incredible dialogue and explosive climaxes (in more ways than one) unfolded as each page turned and I was genuinely sad to reach the end.

Quite possibly my fave in the series, I adored HOT Addiction.  I believed in Dex and Belle and I loved the extra suspense of who Belle's lil girl belongs to and the resulting dramas from there.  I can't quite explain but if you're still reading this I felt the emotion of every pivotal scene.  I felt Dex's pain and I loved his approach on all things.  I believed in him (having the cover helped hahah) and I really liked Belle's back story.

A fantastic set up for Col. Mendez and I loved the last line where I think I did a GASP out loud!

5 solid Jane-shooting stars!

A Seal's Sacrifice by Tawny Weber

Review by TashNZ | 4 Stars

A super quick read which focused on Bryanna's brother Russell and Sam's brother Noah. Sam an Bryanna are from A Seal's Proposal. The story opens at Sam and Bryanna's engagement party. Gwen is Russell's plus one and looks on with a sense of sadness... New Years Eve brings back bad memories for her and when Noah, the object of her bad memories makes an appearance, almost nothing good can come of it...

As I say super quick, but with enough detail be include the slight twist of who will Gwen chose, although it's easy to pick if she's going with her heart. I don't know Noah alot but my heart burst when it was explained he was back for Gwen and solely Gwen... the most difficult mission of his life.

A stupid agreement between kids is a wonderful road block to create the novella's. I really liked Russell in A Seal's Proposal so I hope he gets a wonderful woman he deserves too :)

A Seal's Proposal by Tawny Webber

Review by TashNz | 5 Stars

The author has skillfully captured my attention, she has made me believe in Sam and Bryanna and made me want them to have their happy ever after, which doesn't often happen in Novella's due to the space constraints.

A Seal's Proposal is engaging, straight to the point and thoroughly entertaining. I felt Bryanna's love and yearning to live happily every after with Sam and I could understand Sam's tug of heart over the right thing to do for everyone and himself. When i was interrupted during the day this story was on my mind, I was continuously wondering what was Sam going to do! The writing is refreshing and stirs up emotions and I thought Bryanna was just awesome, especially the spatula throwing incident.

I enjoyed the side characters, which I've now learnt are part of other stories and above all, I hope some awesome girl comes along and kicks Eli's butt from here to the land of love!

Top read which could be of novel length and be just as enjoyable.

I loved His Pregnant Royal Bride by Amy Ruttan. Nurse Shay Labadie and Dr. Dante Affini share one passionate night together. Now four months later, Shay takes a job at Dante’s hospital in Italy to tell him the happy news. Little did she know that he is going to expect her to marry him, not to mention he is Italian royalty!

This is a great story, the characters have real chemistry, and they are both well rounded and have emotional depth. The story flowed beautifully and I highly recommend it to any romance lover.

Having no clue who Dante really is or how their baby can save his heritage, Shay agrees to a marriage of convenience.

I really liked the location of the story and the medical drama's including Shay's. I liked the history of Shay and Dante's backgrounds and I really liked learning about who Shay works for and I loved the low build to the path of love.

A wonderful solid and heartwarming tale which is part one and Dante's brother and Shay's friend who are part two looks just as captivating. This is a medical romance with a touch more!

One night turns into a lifetime! I had a hard time liking Dante even though I could understand what led him to be standoffish. I would have liked a little more of the guy that she met at the conference that would have led to more warmth and connection between them, but I did enjoy the story and following them on their journey.

Nurse Shay Labadie was only expecting one night of fun with Doctor Dante Affini on the last day of the conference they both attended, but a few months later, she realized she was pregnant. When she heads to Italy to tell him, she's not expecting anything from him ... least of all a marriage proposal!

Dante shocks her with his news that he's a Prince and that he wants her to marry him so he can take care of her and the baby. She's not big on trusting the happily ever after, but she's willing to try for their baby's sake.

HIS PREGNANTROYAL BRIDE by author Amy Ruttan is a March 2017 release by Harlequin Medical Romance series.

Nurse Shay Labadie had one passionate night with Dr. Dante Affini, yet it had consequences. Now she was pregnant and in Italy to let Dante know.
But what she herself didn’t know was that Dante was also a prince and there were paparazzi after him all the time.

Dante’s way of saving Shay from the tabloids was for them to get married. Would Shay agree to a marriage of convenience? She wanted a man to love her for herself not for the baby she carried. Could this marriage turn out to be her happy-ever-after?

HIS PREGNANTROYAL BRIDE is set in Venice. I felt as I was there with Dante and Shay. I was hooked in the story as a reader until the very last page. This story had all the drama of a medical romance and a royal romance.

Highly recommended for all readers of medical romance.

Nurse Practitioner Shay Labadie comes from New Orleans and hurricane Katrina changed her life, she now works hard travelling the world helping out where she is needed for United World Wide Health Association she has no intention of marrying but when a one night stand leaves her pregnant she needs to find the father and let him know. This brings her to Venice and back in contact with the gorgeous Dr Dante Affini and her well- ordered hard working life is about to change.

Dante is a caring trauma Doctor he has a few problems relating to family that need to be taken care of when fate steps in to help and the gorgeous one night stand Shay he had months ago arrives to work with him and drops a bombshell on him. His practical thinking steps in and he is determined to marry Shay and give their child a father and mother, it will of course be a marriage of convenience or will it that spark they created months before is not gone.

I was in tears towards the end with this one it is so emotional but I ended up smiling big time as Dante realizes his love for Shay when disaster strikes and this little family starts fresh. Thank you MS Ruttan for a beautiful story in such a beautiful setting another one for the keeper shelf I do highly recommend this one.
