Mendez's long awaited story is high octane with a side of jet fuel to blast the reader into the stratosphere of readers heaven.  On the edge of my seat the only thing that made me put this story down was a bad case of a cold. 

Every range of emotions were met by Lynn.  I felt Mendez's anger when he learnt the truth, his joy at the end, his helplessness when he was lost to Kat and his calm speed he high tailed it at the beginning. 

Fast paced adventure, well loved characters and a glimpse into the life and feelings of a fiercely private man helped shape Hot Valor. I understood Kat and what made her tick. I was convinced her and Mendez were meant to be and I thought Lynn did a fantastic job explaining time and I loved the idea that true love wins in the end.

Thank you Lynn for number 11. May they keep rolling in, I truly love through HOT series.

HOT Addiction by Lynn Raye Harris

Woken up in the early AM by the tail end of Cyclone Debbie passing through my end of the world I turned on my Kindle and decided to check out a chapter of HOT Addiction... since then it's been 3 days of feeding my addiction of getting through this book as soon as possible!

I absolutely loved HOT Addiction because the action was immediate, the "feels" were tapped into straight away, the suspense and danger were ramped up as each page passed and also because reunion stories done right (and this was done SO right!) hit me right where my lil reader's heart gets hit!

Dex is left shattered when Belle leaves him at the alter, seemingly for his high school competitive enemy.  He channels his hurt and anger by becoming the best Sniper he can be and has built up a little wall of hate around his heart with all things Belle, so when she comes to him 5 years later and begs for his help after her husband has been killed and she's being threatened, he laughs in her face and skids out the drive in a very excellent metaphorical "eat my dust" lady!

Of course, if Dex did keep his back turned on her, his and Belle's story wouldn't exist!

Very quickly the world of drama, high end action, suspense, lost love, passion, truckloads of emotion, feels, incredible dialogue and explosive climaxes (in more ways than one) unfolded as each page turned and I was genuinely sad to reach the end.

Quite possibly my fave in the series, I adored HOT Addiction.  I believed in Dex and Belle and I loved the extra suspense of who Belle's lil girl belongs to and the resulting dramas from there.  I can't quite explain but if you're still reading this I felt the emotion of every pivotal scene.  I felt Dex's pain and I loved his approach on all things.  I believed in him (having the cover helped hahah) and I really liked Belle's back story.

A fantastic set up for Col. Mendez and I loved the last line where I think I did a GASP out loud!

Hot Protector by Lynn Raye Harris

Quite possibly my absolute favourite of the HOT series.  I warn anyone to not start this book in bed at night because you will be staying awake until the very end which is 2.14am for me.

A race against time, with Russians on their tails, Sophie Nash and Chase Fiddler Daniels are on the run, racing to Paris to intercept a usb stick which could possibly bring down the mighty empire of Grigori Androv.  They are the most least likely couple to partner up or fall in love given that Sophies mum married Chases estranged father but it is amazing what comes out in the wash while on the constant move and in hiding from the bad guys.  From the second Chases house blows up the ride doesnt stop until the breathtaking conclusion comes racing at you like a freight train on a mission.

I give this book 5 stars because i throughly enjoyed the storyline of Chase and Sophie and their baggage.  I loved how Sophies size didnt bother Chase at all and in fact enhanced his feelings and I warmed to Sopie quite quickly.  She was the sunshine while Chase was the hot headed simmering dawn.  I liked that I felt I was on the edge of my seat the entire read because the action was non stop and the second I drew a breath because I thought everything was ok, boy was I wrong.  I loved the concept of Sophie coming to Chase for help and the rest of the team were on RandR which added another dynamic to the story, the normal use of HOT facilitties and power wasnt quite readily available which made great use of Hawk and his talents.  I loved how the whole team still managed to come together as a team at the end and I really enjoyed the apperance of Ian Black.  I can not wait to read his story.  I know alot of people cant wait to read Colnel Mendezs story and it was interesting haveing a bit more insight into him.

Im not sure if it was necessary for Chase to cuss as much as he did but I get that that was part of what made him him.  I loved how Lynne wrote Chases character and how he grappled with Sophie as a person and how they got their happy ever after.

Yes, cliche coming, HOT stories just keep getting better and better.  Well enjoyed and still playing out the story with a smile in my mind while I write this.

I love me a good SEAL and by gosh Dane "Viking" Erikson is a mighty fine introduction of what looks to be a most promisingly delightful introduction of Seals into the HOT team!

The last place DEA Agent expects to run into her ex husband is at HOT headquarters, after all Dane is Navy, not Army, but there he is as freakin' gorgeous as she remembers, and while it's been a long four and a half years without him, it's like yesterday when the memories start flooding back.  SEAL Dane is just as shocked when his ex wife walks into mission control.  He knows the dangerous mission they're about to embark could risk lives and while he tries to hate Ivy on sight, he also tries to kid himself he'd step in front of a bullet for her as he would be for anyone under his command, not because she's someone special.

Racing against the clock Dane, along with the HOT team, Ivy and her DEA partner track down a  state of the art submarine originally designed for drug trafficking missing from Columbia; the Ruiz brothers who have a major hand in the drug trafficking that Ivy is hell bent on stopping and a nuclear warhead which can blow the Eastern seaboard to smithereens.  While surrounded by danger at every corner, partnered together puts Dane and Ivy in mighty fine close proximity where they cant ignore their past, their feelings or their differences and when one part of the mission means portraying themselves as a happy couple, Dane and Ivy are like the fireworks factory they liken themselves to and things really turn into the 4th of July! I loved the end scene, I could totally imagine it and was left feeling I would absolutely love to be swept off my feet by a man in uniform - preferably a SEAL ;)

Hot Seal is a Hostile Operations Team Novella, part of a July release box set Seals of Summer anthology .  So much is packed in it does not feel the length of a Novella.  So much action and drama swirling around mixed with high tensions and breath taking moments of intimacy I was completely hooked until the last page.  Lynn Raye Harris has such an amazing skill for writing heart-beating drama, non stop action and rock solid mind blowing romance all swirled together and packed into one delicious story that has the Hostile Operation Team on my must-read list.

I love, love, love men in uniform but from them all a seal is by far the sexiest! Hell let's get straight to it, they are the most kickass ever!

And what more could a huge fan like myself ask for .. yeah that's right I can ask that the amazing Lynn Raye Harris writes one for me, and she not only did she created what is undoubtedly the best, sexiest, most kickass, awesome, totally rock-bombing seal ever!!

Hot, steamy, exciting, exhilarating don't seem like words adequate to describe this read. I was there for every single moment , I felt every single emotion, I cried like a  baby and got tears all over Kindle, because I did not even realize I was crying , I was simply too trapped inside this awesome read!

There's so much more I can tell you, and I mean a whole helluva lot more ,but it would ruin it completely. It's the must read of the year.

There's just one more thing I have left to say : If you want to escape with the absolute perfection of kick-ass romantic suspense, read Lynn Raye Harris! It's phenomenal, breathtaking, and always , always perfect!!!

Every time I pick up one of the new HOT series books I always know for a sure fire fact am in for a heck of ride. Action, suspense, super hot men, spicy sex scenes and emotional drama all packed into a excellent plot.

But what I also always think is that this author cannot possibly do it better than the last time, and you know what , I could not be more wrong. This time the author surprised me over and over again with fascinating characters , a heck of a plot and twits and turns I had no idea was coming.

The read tells of Jack " Hawk" Hunter, the number one sniper to the HOT team, he's always cool and calm under pressure. Deep down he hides a broken heart after the death of his wife and unborn child, but he still gets up everyday and does his job to perfection.

Then he lets go for a few hours when he finds number one sexier than sin pop star Gina Demenico in his arms screaming his name and not being able to have enough of him. But at the end of their three day hideout Jack walks away and makes it clear this will never happen again and there is no future for them, it was just sex and that's all it will ever be.

Three years later Gina's son is kidnapped and she 's desperate for help, she knows Jack is the most lethal man she knows, and if there is anyone that can rescue her baby boy Jack and his team are the men for the job. All she has to do is make contact with Mr Hot Shot Sniper , beg him for help and oh yes tell him that Eli is in fact his son !

This read was beyond fabulous and so, so SO super sexy. I loved the heat between Jack and Gina it was electrifying and so intense it totally made me lose my breath. The plot of this read could not have been more awesome, I loved the entire 'let's go rescue our son and try not to have too much sexual tension get to us along the way " idea. It made for super awesome moments of conflict that when finally hitting the 'this is enough and now we're going for it' scenes leap from the pages with such astounding epic amazement it left me in complete awe of this author's writing.

The action and suspense was as in the previous HOT reads simply fabulous. The intensity of the build up to the who dunnit and the total 'wow did not see that coming' was incredible. I truly thought I had the kidnapper all figured out and ready to be brought down and then it went the total opposite direction, really incredible keeping you on the edge of your seat stuff!

I am taking away a message that in life there are no guarantees, we love, we lose, we fall. But if we don't get back up and try again we will just fall further back in a hole there is no getting out of, make a compromise or two and you will be more than surprised to learn there is life after death.

To wrap it up, we have an awesome plot, a truly off the charts hotter than hot sniper, a little bit of a lost popstar wanting to please her fans, a murderous disgusting madman, a twist of fate , super hot sex and a team ready to kill on command anyone that dares mess with those they love, loads of action and guns blazing and two people both with a lot of baggage that need to learn how to build a future together. The absolute perfect combination of a kick-ass read.

The author has once again proved she is the ultimate master in creating the perfect action romantic suspense reads. I cannot wait for the next HOT read!

I highly recommend this book for all fans of action romantic suspense reads. Guns, mystery, drama, action , romance and a whole lot of amazing awesomeness. A thrilling delicious , toe curling , take my breath away read from a brilliant author.

The sexy, bad-ass, hotter than hot, more kick-ass then 007 and Bruce Willis ever will be men of HOT are back!!

Once again the author has created a masterpiece filled with loads of action, drama, intense passion, guns blazing, car chasing, fight to stay alive, uncovering of secrets and mind-blowing awesomeness.

This time around I finally got behind what exactly the deal with Kevin "Kev" McDonald is and just why he tip toes around the one and only woman he has ever really, truly wanted, and just what exactly will happen once he finally has Lucky in his arms.

Lucky has been minding her own business after being kept prisoner by a madman, who had inflicted more than just emotional torture on her for days on end.

The death of her husband sealed her decision and instead of going back to her old life before the kidnapping she now spends her days surfing and trying not to think of anything that happened, not the death of her husband, not the torture she had to endure, after all the bastard is dead. But the one thing she cannot stop thinking about is Kevin, sweet, kind and considerate Kevin who had rescued her, kissed her senseless and then the ass walked away!

Kevin has just been informed of his latest mission, the terrorist who is responsible for the death of two of HOT's best men and the torture of Lucky is still alive.  But no one knows for sure what he looks or sounds like, except Lucky.

He has to find her, convince her to come help find and identify the bastard and then the men of HOT can bring the bastard down once and for all. Easy, right? Well for any of the other guys this would be, but for Kevin this means seeing the only woman he has wants and cannot have, and a range of emotions he simply does not want to face. But an order is a order and he has to carry this out not matter what, and there is no way he will let Lucky get hurt again.

I love the HOT series to bits, the intense action is a thrilling ride and an adventure you will never forget, and this time the author outdid herself! The story of Kevin and Lucky was absolutely spellbinding. It rocked me to my very core, tore open my heart and the author made the magic happen with a ending that healed my torn soul over and over again.

The character of Kevin was as can be expected a bad-ass totally and very dangerously hot man, but his softer more caring side shone through so beautifully it made me wish I could be lucky enough to be his center of attention, even if for just a moment. His personal issues was a huge surprise, as the author only gave me glimpses in the previous reads, and wanting to know just what is up with him made me await this read with more than just eager anticipation. But when the author reveals just what makes Kevin tick, I was shocked and over and over I kept thinking " Man I did NOT see this coming!". Excellent work Lynn!

The character of Lucky was so awesome, I love a good strong and feisty heroine that can go through hell and come back fighting more fiercely than a bat out of hell! I very much enjoyed seeing how she rebuild her strength physically and mentally. And I adored that Kevin is the one to push her at every corner to show her she can and will do whatever is needed to win, she 's a real 'ball-buster' of the very best kind.

There was never a dull moment in this read, it had funny moments, passionate encounters, kick-ass action and a plot so superb it will never fade from your mind. And what makes it even more amazing is the level of brilliance used by the author when she takes you deep into the heart of the action and the emotions of the characters,  I CAN'T wait for the next HOT hero to make his story known.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of amazing romantic suspense reads, I am totally lying, I recommend the entire series for everyone, it is so good you will just like myself be hanging onto every word, every piece of action, every drop of adrenalin and begging to be trapped in a world of pure writing excellence!
