Bride by Royal Decree by Caitlin Crews

Bride by Royal Decree
by Caitlin Crews
Review by TashNz | 5 Stars

Absolutely loved Bride by Royal Decree by Caitlin Crews which is part of the "Wedlocked" series.

King Reza finds out his long lost Queen didn’t die in a nasty car accident years ago, so he abandons his quest to find the right Queen and goes in search of Princess Magdelena, his betrothed Queen.

It's with trademark Caitlin Crews humor and story weaving skill that I was happily swept away in Reza and Maggie's story. I was determined to finish in one setting which of course is always sad when a wonderful story closes. The drama, emotion and witty conversations were thoroughly enjoyed and I found the plot to be very enjoyable and I’m happy with how everything was explained.

Reza is dark, serious and traditional and completely blindsided that the waif he’s thinking he’s rescuing from the pits of menial work wants nothing to do with him, his nobility or his promises of a better life. It’s not until he mentions she’s got a brother that Maggie starts to wonder if it’s possible this impossible man standing before her could be who he says he is and the thought of a family entices Maggie to learn more. Turning Maggie into the Princess and Queen she is destined to be brings Maggie and Reza close and they explore their attraction to each other with disastrous results.

The final chapter was worth a star all by itself. I was a little bit teary!

Thank you for a gorgeous story Caitlin Crews, I absolutely adored it.

This is the second book in this series by Dani Collins and what a great story we met Lyle Fogarty in the first book and he has had a few problems and few very rough years so he moved on and away from his home town to improve his live so now he has landed in Arizona and at a retirement community thanks to his son Zach. Is it time for this handyman to finally find the right woman?

Lyle or LC as he is known now has come a long way but when his son is in trouble LC arrives to help lands up at a retirement community with the old folks and he meets the manager gorgeous Mercedes Kimball and her niece and nephew the sparks fly and the good that has always been there in LC comes flying out can he control himself while helping Mercedes?

Mercedes Kimball works hard at her job after the upbringing she has had she has finally made something of her life and is now taking care of her niece and nephew since her sister wanted a “holiday” but this is causing so many problems with her job and the old folks who live there. So when Mr handsome LC arrives her life is about to change for the better.

This really is a fabulous story with characters from very young to older seniors and in between and the banter between the wonderful characters will have you laughing and smiling. This is a very sensual and moving story as both LC and Mercedes finally find true love with ready- made families that open up a world of caring fun and happiness. Yes I loved this one and can highly recommend it thank you MS Collins for a fabulous story that has many characters that are so alive and caring.

ecret Dreams Book 2 can be read on its own or enjoyed along with book 1 which introduced our Hero L.C.

I wish when I said this story was amazing it conveyed how much I love Dani Collin's writing style. Original, thoroughly enjoyable, humorous and witty in all the right places, coupled with fantastic dialogue and characters you can really relate to and who are quite realistic and bought to life with the magic of words!

Mercedes was matched perfectly with L.C and the plot was interesting and I enjoyed it quite like I would a chick-lit because again there's the freedom for the author to develop the characters more and more time can be spent padding everything out that what one can do in a Harlequin.

Very much enjoyed!

There are some days when reading a book feels like a chore and there are some days when the story whisks you away and you are lost to reality. This book did that to me. I read it in one sitting and was so sad to let the characters go in the end. Nevertheless, Dani Collins breathed heart, humor and life into this story: Only in His Sweetest Dreams. She gave her characters wings and boy did they soar! Overall, this is a passionate rendition of heartbreak mended with love…little by little.

Such a great story!! I so want more! How about another book or two? I could really enjoy seeing Mercerdes & L.C. again ... maybe in Zack's story ... and Porsha's story??? :) I adored seeing them overcome their past to actually get a life they deserved!

When Mercedes Kimball's sister decides to take a "vacation" from her kids, she's left with no option but to take them in and make her life work around them. It might end up getting her fired from her job at the retirement community that she loves, but she can't just stand by and watch while these kids are neglected!

L.C. Fogarty winds up crossing paths with Mercedes through happenstance, and the red-hot attraction they both feel instantly is not easy to ignore! He takes the job of a temporary handyman, and they become friends. He doesn't think he's worth much in life, but she seems to take some comfort from bouncing problems off of him and getting his opinion, so he's happy to help her if he can.

Mercedes might lose her ready-made family any day if her sister comes back, but L.C. enjoys sharing times with them more than he wants to deal with his own family issues. As they grow closer and secrets from his past come out, will she want to have anything more to do with him?

Mercedes Kimball loves her niece and nephew. Mercedes was told she could never have children so when she realizes that her sister Porsha took off once again and leaves the kids with their mom who could not take care of them Mercedes finds that she must go get them.
Mercedes is manager for the Coconino Vista which is a retirement apartment community.
Mercedes had just settled the kids down when she gets a call from the complex, someone boys had broken into the one empty unit and could have done more damage. So Mercedes does the only thing she can do is to return to her job with her sister’s kids along. Poor Ayjia who is 5 does not understand why her mom is not around and the same for 6 year old Dayton. Mercedes has no other choice but to take the kids out of school and take them back to her apartment at the complex.
The boys that broke into the complex are 3 college students. Of the 3 boys they only one that fights to not be expelled is Zack and needs to put in so many hours of help fixing the damage.
In book 1 we were introduced to Zack’s dad, Lyle (LC) Fogarty.
LC has not had the greatest life and really had bad luck.
Mercedes decides to become her sister’s kid’s guardian and she seems to struggle hard to work things out with them and with her job.
Dani Collins gave us yet another love story between two people both with their share of problems. Read it you will not be disappointed

Only In His Sweetest Dreams by Dani Collins is a refreshingly original story about a very flawed hero, LC Fogarty and an equally dented heroine, Mercedes Kimball. The writing style is amazing! I love the fact that the characters are flawed, have massive chips on their shoulders and yet they are both intensely caring and extremely lovable.

We are introduced to the hero, Lyle (LC) Fogarty, in book one Not In Her Wildest Dreams but the two books are complete stories by themselves without any cliff-hangers. LC has had really bad luck in life and he escaped his home town Liebe Falls to get away from it all and to start fresh. Mercedes also had to face very difficult decisions regarding her sister’s abandoned children and how to care for them. The last thing she wanted was to get involved with a troublemaker like LC, but she just couldn’t resist him for long! Turns out there is much more to LC than anyone thought.

Dani Collins delivered a fantastic story with this one. This is a must read and I recommend it to all romance lovers. Can’t wait to read more of her stories.

"Only In His Sweetest Dreams (Sweet Dreams Book 2)" by Dani Collins is a wonderful continuation from the first book in this series. We first met LC, Lyle, Fogarty in the 1st series and we know he is Zach's father. This is important to the story because in this book Zach is caught with a couple of other college students breaking into a retirement apartment community. He was kind of in the wrong place at the wrong time. We meet Mercedes Kimball who is watching over her niece and nephew because her sister took off on the kids yet again. Mercedes is in charge at the complex. There is so many interesting things that happen in this book that it is hard not to give most of it away. You don't have to read the first book "Not In Her Wildest Dreams" by Ms. Collins but I highly recommend it since we are introduced to LC and his son in the prior book. It will give you an more in depth look at their life.

Dani Collins has written another excellent story that is the second book in a series but can be read alone.  She gives us  lovely Mercedes who is a reliable hard working women.  Her strength is put to the test when she has to take care of her niece and nephew when her alcoholic sister abandons them.  She endures so much as she tries to give a good home to the children and help them overcome the fact that their mother walked out on them.  Trying to hold it together the last thing she needs is to meet LC who is an alcoholic although he is trying to fight the demons.  When he meets Mercedes he finds a reason to change and be everything that she deserves.  A wonderful story that gives you a few smiles some tears but also lovely in that two people can find common ground to help each other and find the love they both deserve.  A keeper.

MS Fielding has done it again written a story that will take you on a magical journey where we get to know a handsome Sheikh and the life he leads and get to know how caring he is I have to admit I do have a very soft spot for a Sheikh and Bram ticks all of the boxes and sends tingles up my spine.
Sheikh Ibrahim (Bram) al-Ansari has lived in exile from his family after disgracing himself five years ago he was a great sportsman and all round good guy but suddenly he made this mistake and he pulls himself out of the limelight and leads a life of hard work. But when there is a chance of reconciliation with his father that he really wants but that means a chosen bride, Bram decides to take a risk and choose a convenient Princess his new temporary PA MS Ruby Dance and makes her an offer that she decides to take.
Ruby Dance is the best PA around and works for an agency she is one of The Garland Girls and she only works temporary for clients for a reason she has secrets that she keeps close and does not talk about so when she is suddenly sent to the small country Qa’lat al MinaĆ” to help out Sheikh Ibrahim her life is about to be turned upside down and their first meeting is so good Ruby is such a strong heroine caring and vey attuned to what is going on.
This is such a lovely story beautifully written the scenery is fabulous the hero and heroine Bram and Ruby come to life on the pages they are smart and caring their journey is sensual and moving as both open up about their pasts and fall deeply for each other and what a courtship they are going to have. Liz Fielding writes with depth and maturity of an author who knows her stuff which in turn makes for an story which has depth of characters mixed with an exciting plot full of exquisite places, words and feeling.

Bram and Ruby are the stunning characters for a convenience marriage story which swirls of love and romance that left me with a smile! The plot may be standard but the way everything is described and laid out make it amazing and a read that you're sorry to finish. Their background stories were enjoyable and their path to be together was well deserved.

Liz writes a wonderful Sheikh and I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers.

A really fun connection between the main characters makes Liz Fielding's upcoming release a joy to read. Not only are we watching a romance spark, but we catch ourselves smiling quite often at the sass this couple shows towards each other. Really enjoyed them! The only thing I was left wanting was a little more time with them!

Once banished from his home country, Sheikh Ibrahim al-Ansari knows he can't return home without a bride on his arm unless he wants to be forced into marriage with the woman his estranged father has chosen for him. He lucks into the fact that his new temporary assistant fits his needs to a tee and has agreed to a temporary marriage of convenience!

Ruby Dance has her own painful past that she lives every day running from, so if she can help Bram to rectify past mistakes and reunite with his family, she is all for it. Neither of them expect to actually fall for each other when they are spending time preparing for their trip, but when it happens, will they decide to make their marriage a real one?

Can it possibly happen…From the Sheikh Secretary....To the Sheikh’s wife?
Ruby Dance prefers to work temporary secretary jobs. She has been cheated on by her last boyfriends and now avoiding all commitments. When she has been sent to fill in for the secretary who was working for Sheikh Ibrahim al-Ansari as his regular one had suffered serious injuries and yet when the Sheikh needs her for more than his secretary she thinks of her family and what this promotion could do for them so she says yes.
Sheikh has not been in good graces with his father and to get back he must marry his father’s choice of bride for him but if he gets married before meeting with his father that would save him from that choice.
Sheikh has a history of being a play boy and Ruby knows this. He needs that instant wife and she consents to being that.
When the need for the wife no longer is needed, will Ruby be able to walk away as she is very interested in the Sheikh? Will the Sheikh be able to walk away from Ruby too?
Liz Fielding once again writes a love story worthy of more than the 5 stars I was able to give it.

A fantastic ending to a wonderful series which I absolutely adored and couldn't get enough of. The mystery of the Lost Mistresses was solved and I am very happy with how that all panned out.

Maisey Yates has done a fine job of delivering what might be one of the most anticipated books of the series. I love the mystery behind locating the last mistress, the drama and the intrigue. I loved the way the last mistress was bought back home and I loved the little surprise appearance by a special character. I really liked Alex's portrayal, it was true to his reputation and I really liked Gabby as a character and her outlook on life.

Thank you to Maisey for concluding the series in such fine fashion and to each and every author who contributed to the Di Sione series, it was absolutely wonderful and I devoured each story!

A satisfying conclusion to The Billionaire's Legacy series! We've been seeing all of Giovonni Di Sione's grandchildren be sent off to hunt for one of his "lost mistresses", a sentimental object that meant a great deal to him that he wanted to see one last time before he dies. With this story, Maisey Yates brings us the story of the last grandson, Alex and we get to learn the story behind it all finally. Alex and Gabby had a fun depth to their relationship when they first met with neither hesitating to speak their mind, therefore bringing a good bit of humor to the plot.

Alessandro Di Sione is the last of Giovonni's grandchildren to be asked to hunt a treasure down for him. He knows what's been tasked to his siblings, so he's been expecting his time to come. Now he's being asked to find a painting that is only rumored to exist, and is beneath a shroud of royal scandal.

When Alex shows up asking about the painting, the Queen sends her granddaughter Gabriella D'Oro to accompany him on his search for it to their old estate on Isolo D'Oro. Alex is the cold, uncaring member of the family and he doesn't hesitate to show Gabby that side of him during their journey, but she gives attitude right back to him and amused, he actually likes it. Can she get him to see that the past that haunts him isn't the man he is today or will he continue to punish himself and withhold any happiness from his future?
