What a beautiful second story in this series MS Marshall knows how to pull a reader in with her heartfelt stories about love and lives and getting back on track and falling in love, this time we have the second Delaney brother Mark find the love of his life Laurel Prescott and her family, this is one that will keep you turning the pages.
Mark Delaney has come back to the small beachside town from the Middle East a changed man he is suffering from PTSD and is working around the family hotel as a handyman with the family hoping that he will take over for them one day, he has a lot of support from his family and is taking it one day at a time getting back into surfing which helps as well, but when a family buys the old house across the road and turns it into a B&B Mark’s life is about to change and for the good when he offers the beautiful Laurel his help.
Laurel has moved to this town to start a new life with her children she has been widowed for two years now and has decided to start a B&B but of course the house is old and there is a lot of little things that need fixing that is when her gorgeous neighbour steps in and helps but that is not only what he helps with. Laurel had been content until Mark makes such an impact on her and her kid’s life in such a beautiful way.
This is an amazing story, so beautifully written with characters that come to life in such a real way, Mark and Laurel are so good for each other both have been through a lot but as they come together the future looks so good and Laurel’s kids fall for Mark as well, this is one book that I highly recommend it is so very moving, heart-warming and emotional to see and feel the joy that radiates from this new family. Thank you MS Marshall for another keeper, I loved it.
