I think this one might be my favourite from these wonderful eight stories that took me to the outback town of Augathella, I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and getting to know the people who live there, they have all given me lots of pleasure, this time we get to meet Quinn Calthorpe and catch up with Kimberly Riordan.

Kimberly loves living Augathella, it has been her home for a long time and she loves her job as deputy principal at the local primary school, so when she sees her old best friend in the pub, someone she hasn’t seen for many years she is shocked at how he looks and what she overhears in a phone conversation and she knows in her heart that she must help him.

Quinn moved away from Augathella and the family cattle station Merry Downs many years ago leaving behind his best friend and his family, but now he is home and what he comes home to is shocking, how will he ever be able to make things work on Merry Downs again? He will not take charity but he still has friends, friends who step up to help.

A beautiful story one that I highly recommend, seeing Quinn and Kimberly together was the best, they were so in love it just took a bit of time for them both to see it, and catching up with the other people of Augathella was so good, and even though this is the last book, we will be getting more short novellas to keep us up to date with the wonderful residents of Augathella.
