Snowy Mountain Mistletoe
Alissa Callen
I want to move to Bundilla, Alissa Callen has taken me back there for another gorgeous romance in the most beautiful of settings with fabulous characters and of course Bundy.
We know Trent the vet in own a most loved characters, enjoying his peaceful life after losing his fiancé in a freak accident, but when Aubrey, arrives for holiday with her friend Grace, the quilt club matchmakers are out in force, together Aubrey and Trent must work together to put a stop to the mistletoe matchmaking, of course this sees them spending so much time together and with Bundy’s help how will it end?
This is such a beautiful story, filled with Christmas cheer it is witty, fun and so heart-warming, I loved it.
The Countdown to Christmas
Penelope Janu
Amber loves her job as a Vet in the small town of Wattle Valley, she has given up a passion she has had since being young but is now loving her life and she adores Christmas so much so that she has a countdown, but when city banker Jasper ends up on her doorstep after an accident, he brings back many memories for Amber and she also discovers that Jasper is not a fan of Christmas, will she be able to convert him?
They met ten years ago and although they never got to know each other then, they have never forgotten each other, but when Jasper learns about the town medical centre’s fight to stay open, he adds his weight to the fight, of course this brings them closer together and they are hard pressed not to fall in love, but will they be able to jump hurdles to get there?
I loved this one so much Penelope Janu has a special voice when it comes to writing rural romance and I loved all of Amber’s strays as much as I loved Amber and Jasper.
This one is sensual, and heartwarming and a must read.
A Cattle Dog for Christmas
Stella Quinn
This is a must read, being back in Hanrahan was fabulous, the Cody’s are off on holiday and we welcome locum Elliot George, bush wanderer and hopefully trainer of blue cattle dog pup Caddie, he is welcomed by vet receptionist Sandy and her three boys, how will this journey turn out?
Sandy has been hurt twice before and is not looking for love, but Elliot is handsome, charming and gets on so well with the boys, could this be the time to take a chance and find love? Elliot has travelled Australia for many years always looking for the right place to settle, will Hanrahan be that place, Sandy is so good in so many ways and the boys are the best, has he found family a place to settle and love and happiness?
This is a brilliant story, it is filled with laughter, emotions and so much more, I loved it from start to finish, and Caddie is the best pup and the best for this family, happy sighs.
A Country Music Christmas
Lily Malone
I do love a bit of country music and while reading this beautiful, moving and emotional story I must say I was humming along to some wonderful country music while getting to know Jolene and Ruben and I did love my visit to Chalk Hill and meeting up with friends.
Jolene is a vet by day and country singer by night she teams up with her mother Dolly and they have been singing for years, but when a photo appears in the media Jolene feels she needs to escape the scandal and taking a locum position in the small town of Chalk Hill in Western Australia is a long way from her home in Queensland, finding love was not on the cards though., but when she meets Ruben her first day her heart may just open up to find the happiness she so deserves.
A fabulous story that is sure to leave any romance reader smiling, as it did me.
A Christmas to Remember
Pamela Cook
This one is a story that will stay with me for a while, moving and filled with emotion and tension, when vet, Darcy arrives home just on Christmas after her father has had a stroke, she plans on not staying long, but returning overseas, but when bushfires rage through and she meets Chad the wildlife refuge director, who knows what will happen.
This is a beautifully told story, I felt all of the tension from the fires and my heart went out to those baby animals that needed rescuing, I was cheering Darcy and Chad on, they went through so much together and they deserved to find happiness and love.
This one shows strength and courage under fire and I loved how they supported each other and opened up, one that is not to be missed, a very moving story.
I was thrilled to receive this book in the mail, these stories are all written by some of my favourite authors and I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. I love rural romances, I am very fond of animals and I love all of the heroes and heroines in these stories. I do highly recommend that you read this book, it is one that was hard to put down.
