Jude Hayes went through a childhood tragedy that has stayed with him, he became a navy SEAL and saw even more in his life he made many close friends but is now working for Homeland Security, where he works hard to protect everyone but tends to keep to himself once a year he takes off and sifts through memories but this time he finds an injured woman in the forest and then the weather becomes very dangerous will they get out and will his life be changed forever because of this woman?
Ivy Nelson works inspecting homes she loves her life she shares a house with her best friend and twin brother Ash who is autistic, life is good until she takes on a job and finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and now has dangerous men after her when she runs and falls in the forest she wakes in the arms of a very good looking stranger will she be safe?
Jude takes on the task of protecting Ivy but can he protect his heart while doing so, the woman is so caring and loving and nothing seems to phase her and Ivy she feels the pain that Jude has been through and is determined to help however she can and soon the chemistry between them is way too hard to ignore.
I loved this one and I am loving this series and I do hope there are more to come, Jude and Ivy were made for each other and Ivy’s brother Ash and his girlfriend Jess are fabulous, MS. James has written another fabulous story that I highly recommend, fabulous characters and written with empathy and from her heart.
