I am very partial to a Greek hero and I think Theo Karalis might have just become my favourite one, thank you Annie West for bringing Theo and Isla Jacobs to life on the pages as they journey through some tough times to find the HEA they both so very much deserve. Come along and meet them both.

Theo and Isla met on an archeological dig site in Greece and became very close in many ways but when Theo is arrested and charged with murder and wrongfully imprisoned, he must end his affair with Isla to keep her safe, there is no question about that until he can prove his innocence.

Isla is devastated when she is sent packing from trying to visit Theo and show support and she was sent away in a most terrible way but she moves back home to England and does her best to get on with her life and she needs to look to the future for the sake of the baby she is carrying, she did her best to let him know but to no avail. But now Theo has be released and he has turned up on her doorstep, shocked first to find her pregnant and not well but determined to look out for their child, but what about her?

I loved this story so much, there are so many emotions running through the words on the pages, both Theo and Isla have had childhoods that were not the best, but they have both done well, Isla agrees to go to Greece for a holiday and here they start to rekindle the pull they had from their first meeting but with so many questions still unanswered will they get there?

This is one that I do highly recommend, I savoured every word and was cheering them on in so many ways, and I was left very happy at the end of this book, and thank you Annie West for another keeper, Theo is swoon worthy and Isla the best heroine for him.

My thanks to the author for my copy to read and review.
