Presidential Pursuit (A Love and Scandal Novella)

Imagine being in the running for president ! It must be one of the biggest thrills in the world to know you could be the next one to be in charge of an entire country!

And if you are female and beat out all the men for the race to the poles it is an even greater achievement!

So when Helen is in the running to finally grasp her dreams no one around her even begins to suspect that behind the great responsibly there is still a woman like any other everyday woman, she has needs, fears, hopes and dreams and even with all the company around her could still feel like the loneliest person in the world.

In this prequel novella to much too awesome Race to Kill which was super hot and all action packed, we get to have a look into the life of the woman in the running to rule the country and just what she hides behind the designer suits, or rather who she wants to strip off the designer suits for.

The character of Helen was undoubtedly amazing, it takes real guts for a woman to aim for being the president of any country and when the author gives a little more into her past it showed her as even more amazing and I found myself sitting upright and going " You rock , I am not sure I would ever be able to get over that!"

The character of Sean was kind, caring and the perfect best friend material even up till the relationship moves into sexual territory. Always thinking as clearly as possible and trying to asses the damage in order to protect Helen. It made him even more sexy as the author let him really show he his protecting the woman herself and not just the possible future president.

Quick and easy to read, nice flow and great dialogue. A terrific message of courage and determination pays off in the long run.

I highly recommend this read for fans of prequel reads that offer that little bit extra into the main book and lets you build that bit more of a extra connection to the main story. Hot, action packed and full of presidential sexiness.

5/5 star review
