Marriages and Mergers #1

I have been eagerly awaiting a new Rachel Bailey book for a while and finally I got it and it is so good, I loved meeting Heath and Freya as they cross the world from Noosa Queensland to New York and from rags to riches to love, this one had me turning the pages.
Freya Wilson is a forensic accountant working for the FBI, she has taken some leave to help her godmother Sarah Rutherford in the search for her long lost nephew, she is now in Noosa Queensland Australia checking out the owner of a bar, jet lag and a few drinks and Sarah ends up spending the night with one of the bartenders, fast forward to the morning after and Freya comes face to face with the man she has been searching for Heath Dunstan.
Heath Dunstan was whisked away from America by his mother when he was a toddler and has spent the ensuing years moving around changing names and leading a very wary and secretive life, when the woman he spent a very enjoyable night with tells him in the morning that she has been searching for him and why he is extremely wary and mistrustful and it takes a lot to get her to talk him into going to the US to meet the woman who could be his aunt.
WOW what a fabulous story Heath suddenly becomes a billionaire in the cut-throat, elite society this is something he has never expected and is not too keen to accept, but with Freya by his side and helping him sort through some other requests he has, he is coping. It takes Heath a while to put his suspicions and wariness behind him and as for Freya her heart is opening up like it has never done before but after two failed marriages love is not something that she is looking for, will love find its way into their hearts?
This is a beautifully told story two people who had both been through some hard emotional times, it is time now for them to find the love and happiness they deserve and this one had me smiling and cheering them one, I can’t wait for book 2 in this series and many more from one of my favourite authors.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
