This is the first book in this series that I have read and I loved it, and I plan to go back and read the first four, but it easily read as a standalone, I loved this small town and the residents that live there. Come along and meet the new teacher in town Matilda Marchant, I am sure you will love her.
Matilda has not long broken up with her controlling boyfriend and needs a new start in life when she applies for the teacher’s position in the small rural town of Bunya Junction, she arrives a bit early and checks out the house that goes with the job only to discover what a mess it is. She makes her way to the council chambers and here she meets the local policeman Drew Bradford, could this be the start of her new life?
Drew grew up in Bunya Junction went to do his police training and after years in the city he knew country life was for him, he is a very popular man in town and puts everything into his job, but when the new teacher arrives he is concerned why she has moved here and aims to find out everything about her. Will she be the woman to fill his heart with love?
Matilda settles into town really well and is loved by her students and their parents and it soon becomes obvious that Matilda and Drew are drawn to each other and when Drew learns why Matilda has moved to the country he is determined to keep her save. They are spending so much time together renovating the house, but danger arrives and emotions fly, will Drew be able to keep the love of his life safe?
This is a fabulous story, wonderful characters a fabulous setting and one that I do highly recommend to any romance reader, I loved it.
My thanks to Tule Publishing for my digital copy to read and review.
