Accidentally Still Married by Carmen Falcone

Accidentally Still Married

Reviewed by Desere

Once, feisty Grace was married to the hottest man alive, Sebastian Zwane, the sex was mind blowing, he was sweet , kind and everything a girl could want. Then a tragic change tears them apart, little bit little each day, until they decide to call it quits.

Fast-forward two years later and Grace is in desperate need of saving her catering business. So desperate that if it means striking a deal with her hot estranged husband then so be it, all he wants in return is sex and for her to add her signature to the divorce papers, yes you read that one right, for you see Grace never actually signed those, and in return he 'll give her a large financial injection and her catering blues will be gone.

Sebastian sees the deal as a means to and end, he 'll get to feast on Grace's body one last time before moving to a new location to further his millionaire empire, and with Grace's golden signature he won't have to worry about her demanding half of his empire.

It's the perfect deal for them both, except when the deal comes to an end and their attraction is stronger than ever before, will they be able to walk away from each other?

I LOVED this book, it was fast paced, easy flowing and full of extra hot sizzle. Both main characters have a little secret from their past, that they preferred not to tell each other about whist they were together the first time, so of course when the secrets are revealed the book gained an awesome layer of intrigue.

The author sent a strong message through both characters, communication is vital in any relationship, if there is no communication there is bound to be at least one of the two halves that will keep trying to do what they think is best, all the while not knowing that what they see as best is in actual fact exactly what the other person is afraid of.

Accidentally Still Married is a sizzling hot, hearts breaking and being mended, emotional journey of two people gaining a second chance in life. I highly recommend this read for anyone looking for a quick and easy romantic adventure with lots of depth, hot sex and a very happy ending.

Special note : The hero is South African , and that for me as reader was tremendously special because most hero's in romance reads are Italian, Greek or of some other nationality, and being South African myself I got to fall in love with a little something extra special.

This review is for CHRISTMAS SCANDAL by Carmen Falcone.

So she decided to go to Argentinean investor Alejandro Soto’s office to pass the message to him. Then she receives the news that her partner Patty is dead. She doesn’t believe this death is by natural causes and when she is attacked in her own home, she is sure someone is after her.

But could it be Alejandro? Because he was the only one she had told about the dying man’s message. And how could he track her so fast and be at her door? When Alejandro whisks her away to spend Christmas with his family in Argentina, she discovers red-hot passion triggering all sorts of attraction between them. Dare she give in to this chemistry? Would her hot Argentinean lover still want her when he learns her secrets?

And what will happen when she learns who actually was behind the attacks? Will this Christmas scandal leave them unscathed or will it forever separate them?

CHRISTMAS SCANDAL is a fast-paced intriguing story. Author Carmen Falcone’s latest offering would touch every girl’s heart and make her root for Sydney. And readers would be glued to the pages to read what ultimately happens to Sydney and Alejandro’s love affair and who was responsible for the deaths.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

Review of CHRISTMAS SECRETS by Michele de Winton

Gabby Phillips has secrets and she has to keep it at all costs from the new owner of her department store, the tall, dark and dangerous, Nicolas Morganti, the man she ran out on.

Yet, once again Nicolas thinks she is the culprit because he doesn't trust her. Would he ever change his mind about her when he finds the truth? And what will happen when he discovers her secret?

CHRISTMAS SECRETS is an enthralling story. I loved the emotional intensity in this author Michele de Winton's writing. This was a new to me author but I will surely be checking all her books now.

Action-packed romance adventure. Loved it!

Paramedic Sydney Bell is thrown into the middle of chaos when she tries to assist a dying man, 60 year old Frank Lewis, suffering a gunshot wound. As he lays on the side of the street he whispers “Tell Alejandro Soto… there is… I’m… sorry… I put him at risk… My… fault… I tried to…” CARK!!

Sydney tracks down Alejandro and relays the message and in the meantime receives a call to say her paramedic partner Patty has been killed.

Well it’s all on. They mystery of Frank, of Patty, of Alejandro is enough to make Sydney’s head spin, add in her attraction of Alejandro and Sydney is ready to combust.

Christmas Scandal is set around Christmas time and it’s another element added to a story full of layers already. I laughed, I cried, I laughed again. Sydney is the best female character. She is feisty, funny and just someone you’d love to have as a friend. Alejandro – be still my fan – wow! He’s assertive, hot, South American god! The back stories were well written and the story flowed.

From to Chicago to Buenos Aires I was glued to my kindle! This is written in true fun and hot Carmen Falcone style and I absolutely loved it! Thank you for the honor of receiving and ARC for my honest opinion.

-Red Hot Christmas is Book II in one Book. Book I is Christmas Secrets by the incredible Michele de Winton, review up soon.

"Red Hot Christmas" is a two book set containing: 1) 'Christmas Scandal' by Carmen Falcone and 2) 'Christmas Secrets' by Michele de Winton.

The first review is for Carmen Falcone's book 'Christmas Scandal.' Sydney Bell is a paramedic and asks for help from Alejandro Soto when a dying man passes along information to her and her partner Patty. Then she receives the news that her partner Patty is dead. Feeling that someone is after her because of this information she knows, and Sydney doesn't trust the police.

And what will happen when she learns who actually was behind the attacks? Can Alejandro somehow be behind it? What will happen when he learns her secrets? Is Passion enough to trust? "Christmas Scandal" is a fast paced read. It's a mix of mystery and romance that will leave you wanting to read on and find out what happens. Will a love be enough to last between Sydney and Alejandro or will who is responsible for the deaths tear them apart.

Second review is by Michele de Winton 'Christmas Secrets.' Gabby Phillips is keeping a secret from the new owner of her department store. Nicolas Morganti, is the new owner and the man she left because of those secrets. Nicolas doesn't trust Gabby and secrets hide the truth from coming out.

Michele de Winton is a new author for me, and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It's a mix of romance and mystery that is also a quick read.

I was asked to read and review for Carmen Falcone and I absolutely love her writing. Michele de Winton will also be on my list of books from authors that I like to read.

Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon by Carmen Falcone

Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon
This author is fast becoming one of my favorites, and with good reason! Each time I sit down to read one of her books I know I am guaranteed a brilliant plot, fast paced romance of the hottest kind and lots of delicious make me want to cry my eyes out emotion.

In this her latest read we get to meet Addison Reed, she has lost her fiancè, but she will not stop at making sure his legacy is protected. Only she has a little bit of a hiccup in her path, that hiccup comes in the form of drop dead gorgeous and truly arrogant landowner, Bruno Duarte, Brazilian millionaire extraordinaire!

Bruno does what ever it takes to thwart Addison at each and every turn and refuses to meet with her, so she is left with no other choice, the man needs to listen to her and so HE WILL!

But aside from Bruno having to duck and dive Addison he has a much bigger problem, his perfect plan to return to Brazil and marry in order to fulfill his father's dying wish, has gone spectacularly wrong with the bride dumping him, and then he is stranded with an idealistic woman hell bent on saving a tribe of people on his land, then suddenly the perfect solution dawns, if feisty and passionate Addison aka his abductor agrees to a bogus marriage then he will relocate the tribe, she'll be happy and so will he.

Only this perfect plan has a flaw, the growing heat of desire is just as hot as the heat from the long Brazilian nights they are to share , and the only subject that remains is a simple one, give in to each other and abandon all plans or let their differences tear them apart.

I am not completely sure where exactly to start my review about this book, because it was all just too incredible, but the first word that comes to mind is wow, just wow! Carmen Falcone has outdone herself! The read was so super hot and so super sexy I had goose bumps with each word and action being described.

I wanted to crawl inside this read and stay there deep in the heart of the Brazillian heat! The character of Bruno was of course incredibly yummy, but the poor man has not had it easy, and I truly felt sorry for him. I loved how the author let him be just as set in his ways as Addison, can you say tension explosion, why yes , yes you can, and it was awesome!

Addison was a really cool, fun and feisty heroine that just makes you wish you could be near her just to see her blow Bruno and his plans out of the water, really great writing was done with this character, and it made for excellent reading.

I am taking away a very nice and clear sounding message from this read, opposites attract but that we all know already. But what if you are not as opposite as you think and instead a compromise can be found to satisfy you both?  Sounds like a great plan, but how to make it work? The answer is a simple one, look inside your heart for there lies the true answer as to who is with you and who is against you.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of hotter than hot, sexier than ever before, smoking fast paced and truly emotional reads.

Carmen Falcone gives us another great read. This story involves Addison Reed who lost her fiance, and Bruno Duarte a Brazilian Millionaire. Have you ever been attracted to someone who is absolutely all wrong for you? The chemistry between Addie and Bruno is in one word explosive. She starts off wanting to save the Kwanis Tribe and ends up also wanting Bruno.

What I enjoyed about this book is that the couple fights their attraction for each other but the pull is there. I detail that Carmen gives us about Brazil is amazing. As a reader you can see the imagery in your mind. Once I started reading this I didn't want to put it down. It is a novella of sorts but easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable. Enough romance if you're into romantic novels but there are other parts to the book that are enjoyable. Friendship, loyalty, and love. It's hard to say more without giving the whole story away, but you will enjoy it.

A Night of Misbehaving by Carmen Falcone

The Mom's at his daughter's preschool call him "Sexy Dad," Brent, doesn't know this.  One afternoon while at work his co-worker Carl, "the man whore," is talking about hooking up with this hot woman from a dating website and 'banging' her.

When Brent looks at the computer he see's non other than "Super Mom," Georgia, from his daughters preschool.  "Super Mom" doesn't look like her usual self in yoga pants and ponytail she is gorgeous.

Brent convinces Carl that he is knows this woman and goes on the date instead.  Georgia isn't too happy when "Sexy Dad" shows up since Brent had turned down a date offer from her best friend Alice.

She wishes she would have asked for a photo and questions why he said he had blond hair.

This story is HOT!  You can read it at your own pace but it's a quick read.  My first book from Carmen Falcone but definitely not my last.

This was a short read and only took me twenty minutes but boy oh boy was it HOT! The read tells of Georgia also known as 'Super Mom'. Her life as single parent has become a drag and she feels the need for some fun and just letting go.

She signs up for a online dating site, but when her date, Brent aka 'Sexy Dad' comes walking through the door she is first blown away at just how gorgeous he is and then concerned at just how badly this will affect her life.

His daughter and her daughter are best friends and the last thing her little girl needs is to be messed around by a "now you see me now you don't " father figure. Plus her best friend, Alice, will kill her for getting involved with the man she has had her eye on for a long time.

But Brent ain't no dummy, he wants Georgia in his arms screaming his name, on a permanent basis, and if he has to play all his wild cards to get her he will. He has always wanted he and now is his chance. But to convince Georgia of his good intentions will take a whole lot of sweet talk and scorching hot kisses, which works out just fine until she learns of his little secret!

I loved this book, it was crazy fun and super, super hot! The sexual energy between Brent and Georgia was off the charts. And the emotional side of the read was super intense, the author manged to not only pack loads of heat into a very short read but also gave me all the little snippets of the characters emotional up's and down's.

I am taking away a message of we all need to at one stage take a walk on the wild side to let off some of the stress of everyday life, but if and when you do and a happy future stares you in the face, don't let it slip from your hands simply because of the worry of tomorrow. Live a little and let tomorrow worry about tomorrow!

I highly recommend this read for all fans of super sexy, scorching hot romance reads. The read is the perfect escape to a walk on the wild side!

Finally a single mom story I can relate to! The Night of Misbehaving is a cracking great short story which covered all of the emotions you usually only have time for in a full length story.

Super Mum and Sexy Dad aka Georgia and Brent meet up on a date supposedly organised thru internet dating but what Georgia doesn't realize is that Brent demands he go in the place of his sleezy business partner. Brent and Georgia know each other through their kids play group. Georgia is known as the super fast and reliable and organised mom and Brent is known as Sexy Dad among the moms because hes hot, actually hotter than hit really and totally single dad.

Unfortunately when super mom realises who her date is shes ready to up and leave because Sexy Dad rejected her best friend without a second thought so caught between loyalty and total embarrassment about internet dating shes out the door! So why does Sexy Dad chase after Georgia and four chapter's later you're going WOW??? Well i'm not going to spoil it but lets just say there was lots of twists and turns and the heat had the story melting!

A super fun read. I laughed and laughed at the authors humor. I was turning on the air con to cool the room down and I sadly sighed during the twists and turns. This story has the bones if a full length novel minus all the fill ins that make a full length story so you're left with the good bits and the parts you want to read. The story flowed and like the authors comments noted (yes im a book geek I read all the comments) this could totally happen, the characters are realistic. That's why i could totally relate... We all want one night of misbehaving and the way Brent tried to recall Georgia's name was totally classic and very male hahaha.

A fab short story which I would recommend to all and also made me want more from Carmen :)

A NIGHT OF MISBEHAVING is April 2014 Entangled Publishing release by author Carmen Falcone.

Georgia Taylor is so ready for a night out with no complications so she went on a blind date from an online dating site. Then she saw that her date was no other than Brent Turner, a father from her child’s preschool.

Now, this is complication multiplied. Could she go ahead with her plan to have a fun evening? And what would happen when she finds out that Brent had his own agenda for meeting her?

A NIGHT OF MISBEHAVING is a short but very hot and steamy read. It is also an emotional story. You can tell that Georgia’s ex-her child’s dad was a loser from the interaction she had with him. But as a reader you just can’t help feeling for Brent when he takes responsibility for the breakup of his own relationship. The author, Carmen Falcone does full justice to this short but sensitive and sensual story.

Georgia is one super mom who is in dire need of adult time.  A single parent with sole responsibility for her pre-school daughter, not to mention a successful career woman, she longs for some downtime.  She wants to chill out in the arms of an understanding male who knows and loves women and wants to give her a good time.  Hence, she resorts to internet dating.

And internet dating springs some surprises.  She finds herself looking at \Brent, aka Sexy Dad, a fellow parent whose daughter is the best friend of her own little girl at pre-school.  It seems like a consequence free night is not on the cards.  They are too closely connected, there could be repercussions.  But what if one of them (or both of them) wants repercussions?

A short, warm and witty contemporary romance by a talented author.  Highly recommended for readers of romance and relationship fiction.  A word of warning, though.  This is because romance readers are quite diverse in taste and while some love to read hot and steamy, others prefer the more emotional sweet romances.  Georgia and Brent's story reads like a sweet romance in places, but once they connect, there are a few explicit scenes and some rather graphic language.  So if you love hot and steamy, go for it.  If you prefer sweet and emotional, well, don't miss out, but you might want to speed read through the hotter scenes to spare your blushes.  It's up to you.

Carmen Falcone is an author who handles hot romance with skill.  I'm giving her the full five for this one.

Even though her days are filled with her job and caring for her daughter as a single mom, Georgia Taylor knows something is missing from her life...a man, a companion, even a sexual encounter. Joining a dating site, she's gone on a few disappointing, meaningless dates, but when her latest date turns out to be Brent Turner, aka Sexy Dad, from her daughter's preschool, she's thrown into a dilemma. He's the father of her daughter's best friend, he cruelly rejected the sincere advances of her best friend, and her past experiences with men has been pitiful to say the least. If she gives in to the lust she feels, will she be able to face him when she meets him at her daughter's preschool without feeling shame or humiliation? Can she justify the breaking of the female bonding code with her friend for a sex- filled night of bliss, and then live with the consequences of that action? Would he be like her ex, running at the first signs of commitment or responsibility? She had chosen badly before. Could she trust her judgment this time?

Successful with his gyms, Brent Turner wants to take his company to the next step, offering a corporate wellness proposal to businesses. Only the announcement of a date with Georgia Taylor, aka Super Mom, from his sleazy man-whore partner, Carl, derailed his carefully laid plans. He couldn't let his partner near her. One: her daughter went to his daughter's preschool. Two: she was HR Director at a company where he wanted to pitch the proposal and a disastrous date with Carl would ruin that. Three: She was a sexy, gorgeous woman he wanted for himself. So the die was cast. He would go in Carl's place. What could possibly happen on a simple no-strings date? Wasn't he capable of logically getting her vote for his proposal? Wouldn't he show her a better time than Carl? At least they would part friends, wouldn't they? Not if fate has anything to say about it!

A quick read with just enough development of the characters to permit the reader to be fully engaged in the action of the story. A sweet romantic tale with a racier edge. Although there were a few explicit sex scenes, they were tastefully done. A sexy, hot short story about second chances and daring to hope for a happily ever after.

I would recommend to any romance reader. A copy was given by the author for an honest review.

Heating Up Hawaii by Carmen Falcone

The very name suggests a hot read and that's exactly what this is.  The wonderful Carmen Falcone's reunion story of the very grounded Penny and the very enigmatic Luc. Their passionate love affair burnt itself out eight years before, owing to misunderstanding and immaturity.  But this time around, they're going to be all mature about this, right?  And no one's going to get hurt....not even slightly scorched.  And therein lies the problem....

Penny's had a sad childhood.  Her parents separated after Penny's mother discovered that her husband and Penny's father had been cheating and not only that, Penny had known about it.  Penny's relationship with her mother was damaged and had her grandmother not been around, the child that Penny was would have suffered too much.  As it was, Penny still lost her grandmother way too early.  Luc had to shoulder the burden of caring for his mother and severely disabled brother way too  young after the death of his father - so Luc and Penny's first encounter ended in tears.  Not to mention a pregnancy which Luc knew nothing about and which tragically miscarried.

It's almost a decade later.  Self-made Luc is now a hotel magnate.  Penny's a PR heavyweight, on the brink of opening her own company.  She accepts a short term contract from Luc, to launch the Maui Leoni, his Hawaiian acquisition.  This job will give Penny prestige, confidence and contacts.  All she needs to go it alone in business.  And of course, her relationship with Luc will be entirely professional....yeah, right!

Working in close proximity, the pair attempt to, but are unable to hide their strong bond and attraction.  It's only a matter of time before their passions ignite and then watch them heat up Hawaii.

As a romance novella, it's quite perfect.  Very reminiscent of the  Presents/Modern imprint of Harlequin Mills & Boon.  The love scenes are scorching, so it might be advisable to wear dark glasses.  It mightn't be any harm to keep a cold drink to hand.  On second thoughts, make that a cold shower.

Alpha male hero, with some lovable flaws, check.  Beautiful heroine who's just the right mixture of vulnerability and woman of substance, check.  The passion quotient, check.  Exotic location, check. The healing power of love, check.Heck, it comes up to standard on every level and is recommended for readers who like bold, romance fiction.

I've no choice but to give it full marks.  Really.

Heating Up Hawaii by Carmen Falcone

Things really do Heat up in Hawaii, when ex lovers reunite. Will they be able to get pass their issues from eight years ago. And what will happen between these two, when secrets are revealed.

Penny Ashbrook dreams of opening her own PR company, she is currently working for Charles Dawn. Having walked away from his son, Darren Dawn the day before they were to be married. While she came close to getting married six months ago. There has really only been one true love for her, and she is about to come face to face with Luc again. She has a number of secrets, that she has been carrying around for years. I felt so bad for Penny's character and the issue she lived thru alone, when she first left Luc.

Eight years ago Luc Leoni was struggling to make a name for himself. Penny might have set him back eight years ago, but now he is a self made billionaire. Half French and half Italian he makes for one smoking hot Hero. When he accidentally overhears Penny's name mentioned he asks to be introduced. One thing he realizes when he comes face to face with her again, is that the attraction is still there for both of them.

The love scenes were really well written. While I found Darren's character believable, I struggled with his fathers story line. Threatening to fire someone who is working to pay you back money, just has a weird vibe to it for me. But overall really good story.

A VENGEFUL AFFAIR  is the debut novel by Carmen Falcone, published by Entangled Publishing's Indulgence line.

Javier Rivera, a London-based business magnate, is intrigued to find the stunning receptionist Vivian Foster, snooping in his office after hours, pinching files.  He suspects industrial espionage. However, there's no time to verify Vivian's credentials or check her motives.  He has a plane to catch and a merger to sign.  So he has no choice but to take Vivian along with him, using force if necessary.  For Vivian, this isn't so much about espionage as it is about justice.  She hates Javier and blames him for the death of her best friend a few months earlier.  The enforced companionship which takes them to Paris, Switzerland and back again, helps them to get to know each other better.  They learn that things are not always as they seem on first appearances.  Then there's that attraction flaring between them.  BTW the love scenes are smoking hot, so don't say you weren't warned.

A slickly written piece of romantic suspense which will grab you by the collar at the outset and won't let you go until it's finished with you. Vivian is a strong, witty heroine and I loved reading the dialogue in this novel, especially where she was involved.   I had to read the whole book in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down.  If you love suspenseful, romantic fiction, you'll enjoy this immensely.  As for me, I'll be looking out for Carmen Falcone's next book.
