Fiona Lowe has always manged to create fantastic stories that touch my heart, she has more than once also made me cry so bad that people around me thought me to be in very deep emotional pain.

In her newest read she has once again managed to bring me to tears and touched on emotion so strong in left me in awe of her writing skills.

The story is about proud family man Luke Stanley, he is a top of the notch plastic surgeon and has the perfect little family, in a nutshell, he has everything going for him in all the right directions.

Until life altering events sends him into the deepest depths of despair where there is never an easy way out. It will take a bright shining star to bring the once happy and full of life man back, and that shining star is Chloe.

And although she has been through her own set of up's and down's in life she is still able to look at the brighter side of all dark clouds, and she is all that is needed to bring Luke out from the rain.

The character of Luke truly broke my heart, through this character I was reminded just how deep love can be and how exceptionally hard it must be to be able to get up and move on in life when a part of you is missing. Luke having to find the strength to carry on for the sake of the adorable and very cute little Amber also showed that when losing someone in your life giving up is never the answer as there is always someone else that needs you and you cannot simply walk away.

The character of Chloe was a nice reminder that life is hard but applying the old saying of "every could has a silver lining" is the best way to handle the hardships, and the more you remember it the more you will grow and be able to pass that message onto others that have not reached the level of thinking that you have.

The backdrop settings were full of life and very beautifully incorporated to match the flow of the read, wonderfully descriptive and intriguing. The dialogue was pure Fiona Lowe brilliance, emotional, heartwarming and as mentioned brought me to tears !

The secondary character of Steph was simply an amazing addition and made my heart soar with joy at the pure wonder the love of family can bring to life.

I am taking away a message of life deals some pretty serious and truly heartbreaking blows, the courage to get back up and fight for a level or normality is a endless battle, but it can be so much easier if you let someone it to help you. It might feel like you are betraying the one person you loved the most but in fact you need to try and remember that your happiness is what would have made that special someone the happiest and therefore you need to let go and grab the chance at a second happy ever after before it is too late.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of Fiona Lowe books. A easy read with loads of drama and a gorgeous ending, and a wonderful message of just how precious the gift of life is.

Luke Stanley blames himself for his wife’s death. He is grief-stricken and now a solo dad for his small daughter. But he starts having dizzy spells and literally falls at Nurse Chloe Kefes feet.

She steps in and looks after him when he goes for surgery and cares for his small daughter. Even though she is used to keeping distance from small children because of her past tragedy. Could she step out from her past issues and embrace a future with Luke and his daughter? And would Luke forgive himself enough to move forward with Chloe?

Gold Coast Angels: BUNDLE OF TROUBLE is emotional and dramatic, at times heartbreaking but ultimately uplifting story about taking chances on love’s choices and triumphing against the odds. Chloe is a wonderful heroine readers would relate to and admire whereas Luke is a gorgeous hero, whose strength, sensitivity and magnetism will pull you in. Fiona Lowe has written an engrossing and fast-paced story. The emotional and sensory details are exquisitely done.

Highly recommended for all lovers of medical romance.

A wonderful and entertaining story with well developed characters and a well thought out plot. I enjoyed this story from the first page until the last.

I would recommend this book to all romance readers.

PICTURE PERFECT WEDDING by author Fiona Lowe is a Carina Press release for August 2013.

Erin Davies is trying to build her wedding photography business. And the right place for it is? Whitetail. A small town that just started offering ‘Weddings That Wow.’

Looking for a field of sunflowers to photograph a wedding party in, Erin runs in a snag. The farmer is not keen to offer his sunflower fields. So how will Erin go about convincing the farmer, Luke Anderson, that it is for the best?

Luke is not too happy in his very predictable life. The arrival of Erin adds much needed colour to his staid life. But the question is, will Erin stay? What about her goals?

PICTURE PERFECT WEDDING has a strong heroine in Erin and a gorgeous hero in Luke.  It is a fast paced romantic tale which takes a reader deep into both the characters’ psyche to discover why they are against love and commitment. It is a hilarious journey as the dialogue is humorous and enjoyable. Erin is strong in her convictions but yields to Luke as she is so attracted to him. Author Fiona Lowe does a great job with the secondary characters. I just loved reading Martha and Vern’s retirement issues as well as getting connected to Nicole the wedding planner and her budding romance with the town’s new fire chief.

Building business is tough enough just ask any business owner, it takes months of preparation, a lot of determination, hours and hours of hard work and even then there is always the possibility of failure or set backs that could seem minor but could mean the downfall of the business.

Therefore it is always crucial to make sure as little as possible goes wrong and push for the best results. In the new Fiona Lowe read we meet Erin she needs to plan a perfect wedding and to make it happen she will need to convince hold-me-down-or-I'll-kiss-you-senseless farmer Luke Anderson!

But convincing this man is easier said then done and when these two go at it their dull world of no happy ever afters brightens up faster then when a rainbow hits the sky after a storm!

The main characters of both Erin and Luke were spectacularly written by the author , I felt so emotionally connected to Erin as her will to push to succeed shined through, and much like myself she always pushes for the best result to make those around her happy.

Luke was a character that broke my heart, I was so sad to see him suffer with a predictable life, as we all know you need to make the best of each day you have on earth and when things start being predictable you need to try to do something to spice it up, or you will for sure be bored and fall into a pattern that might very well drive you over the edge of madness.

The author taking these two characters and letting fun and sassy meet boring and predictable made this a truly perfect sparks flying romance filled with loads of heat and drama!

The backdrop settings were so creative and perfectly described by the author I actually felt as it I could touch the wedding buzz ! I loved the dialogue, deeply emotional to the point where I thought I might just actually start bawling my eyes out, which is always a good sign that the author knows how to pack a punch.

What I totally adored was the humour that the author dashed into the read, I laughed out load so badly that yes those around me gave me one look and most definitely thought me mad! But again this is the joy of a Fiona Lowe read, you not only get sweet and sensual romance, but also tear jerking emotion and down right funny laughter and good times.

The moments of conflict were absolutely brilliant, I was torn between wanting Erin to win the battle and at other times I wanted Luke to win , but with both giving as good as they get it just pulled this read together on that " Ah perfect romance and heat " level that I very dearly love.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of Fiona Lowe reads, and for those romance fans looking for a guaranteed set the mood read that will have you wanting a picture perfect wedding of your very own!

Saved by the bride was a wonderfully written romantic story of two people saving each other from a lifetime of never taken chances and loneliness.

The book tells of Annika, she has been hiding out for a while in the town of Whitetail, and when I say hiding out I mean trying to focus on anything and everything but her career of painting.

This "I help with anything " attitude causes her to land the job of temporary major and also the only person who can save the town by making sure the town hosts the wedding of the year.

But when breaking an entry to attempt her mad plan she does not count on falling head first into the arms of Finn, nor does she know that this devastatingly handsome come-take-me-to-bed-eyes hunk of a man will be the one to have her thrown in jail!

The main characters of Annika and Finn were a delight to read, each had their own inner turmoil's to fight off and thus brought the book it's flare of drama and suppressed feelings needing to be released.

The book also had exceptionally wonderful secondary characters, and the author created a typical small town of people each with their own problems, craziness and differences in opinion.

The author really dug deep with her characters emotions and I was not only intrigued but well and truly sucked into the world of a small town out to fight for survival, and it felt at times as if I was drowning with them all in a lake of despair and dreams lost.

The backdrop setting was calming, inviting and fun. The lake played a very unique role as the author lets the calmness of the lake portray the feelings of her characters, one minute they can seem calm and in control but much like the lake that can with the right elements of nature take on a dangerous turn, so does the characters when they loose control be it in the heat of the moment or when provoked.

I loved that the author lets the read flow to a point where I as reader was pleasantly surprised to see that Annika also gets a chance to save Finn and the book became a 'we save each other' read, where as most books focus solely on he saves her or she saves him and not we save each other.

The dialogue was very fun and upbeat, going from crazy to sexy and back to emotional and deep. The author did a exceptional job at sending out a message to me as reader of sometimes not taking a chance will leave you lonely, unfulfilled and ultimately in regret for the rest of your life.

I highly recommend this read for all readers who love a good wedding story that involves a crazy bride, a sexy as sin groom and the love and support of small town folks.

SAVED BY THE BRIDE by author Fiona Lowe is a Carina Press release for April 2013.

Annika Jacobson is the acting mayor and she just wants to have her town’s economy improved. Improved economy meant more jobs for townspeople. She would do anything to reach her goal. And if it meant gate crashing an engagement party, then she was up for it!

Finn Callahan does not want to be at his family’s summer estate, even to attend his sister’s engagement. But he meets Annika, and his not very pleasant summer work from home turned very interesting indeed.

They had sparkling chemistry and decide to give in to their mutual attraction, but just for the summer. Will Annika be able to keep her heart uninvolved through the summer?

SAVED BY THE BRIDE is a well-written romance. I loved reading about Finn’s parents’ story. And the amazing love story interwoven in the main story of Finn’s sister was an added bonus. RITA and R*BY award winning author Fiona Lowe yet again brings this brilliant romance to her readers and other lovers of romance!

Highly Recommended!

Newborn Baby For Christmas by Fiona Lowe

Falling for the mother of your child ALL OVER again is certainly something I have seen and heard of before. I have even read many a romances that starts with one night of blazing passion leading to a pregnancy and a forced marriage and then love follows. But with story it was almost more than just reversed love.

I have even heard of people asking for really outrageous Christmas presents but in this book it was ...and I thought I had heard it all.

The author tells the story of Georgie and Hamish, they have been best friends since university and have talked and shared ,you know how friendships goes ,but  Georgie asks Hamish for one heck of a favor and certainly the most  outrageous  of Christmas presents I have ever read about, but what follows is a story of a wonderful Christmas romance.

Georgie wants to have a baby and as we all know it takes two people to make one of those,Hamish is the bait ! He will give his best friend the one gift that will make her happy.

Now the fun starts! A few heartbeats later Hamish finds himself falling for the mother of his child and at the same time he discovers a family he never thought he would have. Somewhat really delicious and fun scenes follow,and I loved every minute !

This was a story of romance, sweet passion and a rather humorous situation …love behind the greatest gift of all during the most wonderful time of the year in one of the most unconventional manners ever.

The perfect holiday romance read !

NEWBORN BABY FOR CHRISTMAS by author Fiona Lowe is a Mills & Boon Medical series release for October 2012.

Dr Hamish Pettigrew and Dr Georgina Lambert have been friends forever. They were there for each other right through medical school and through each other’s happiness and heartbreaks.

So when Georgie felt her biological clock ticking, where would she go? She would, of course, depend upon her best friend to donate sperm for her to get pregnant! But Hamish doesn’t want to be a father, ever. Would he agree to Georgie’s request?

Georgie wants a baby but she doesn’t really want a man, does she? So this is an ideal arrangement for her. Once pregnant, she doesn’t let Hamish know as he had stipulated that he didn’t want to know. When he sees her in all her pregnancy glamour, Hamish forgets he doesn’t want anything to do with Georgie’s pregnancy and wants her instead!

After seeing her pregnant and giving in to the attraction between them, Hamish realizes he had always loved Georgie, would she believe him? Does he really love her or is he saying that just for the baby?

NEWBORN BABY FOR CHRISTMAS is a sensual, passionate friends- to- lovers romance. We know Hamish loves Georgie, yet he doesn’t realize it because he feels himself incapable of experiencing love or to commit.

Fiona Lowe has delivered a tortured hero, who doesn’t believe in love and a strong feisty heroine, who demands nothing less. The hero, Hamish’s character growth shown is extraordinary. He is unlikeable at first but then he grows through the story and you end up liking then falling in love with him! Georgie and Hamish’s romance amid all the medical drama is a hugely enjoyable tale medical readers will find absolutely impossible to resist.

My rating 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This has to be the most original name for a hero I've ever read.  Hamish Pettigrew?  Surprisingly, it works.

Hamish and Georgina were BFF.  He wanted to date all the babes in the universe while she was on the lookout for Mr. Right, two kids, a semi-detached house and a white picket fence.  In her middle years, with her biological clock ticking away, her parents having passed on, she felt the need to have someone of her own.  She wanted to have a child, but she wanted to know the child's background.  So who would she ask for a sperm donation only her BFF?  Which was fine up to a point.  When he meets his BFF later, she was all lush and gorgeous and full of pregnant feminity.  Suddenly, inexplicably, he's attracted.

The pregnancy has affected her libido too.  She wants him, dammit, she wants him!  And not just as a friend.  So what next?

Well, you'd have to read this extremely enjoyable medical romance to find out.  Which isn't at all a bad prospect.  

My verdict?  Excellent.

Letting Go With Doctor Rodriguez by Fiona Lowe

Dr. Marco Rodriguez is overworked and under immense pressure since his practice partner, Dr. William Patterson broke his leg and was recuperating. He needed another doctor at the practice immediately but dare he approach Dr. Lucy Patterson, William’s daughter for help?

She was a capable doctor yet he was not convinced about her ethical standards as he found her sneaking around trying to read her father’s medical files without permission.

Marco also feels awareness of her sensuality whenever she’s near and he didn’t do love or commitments. He was happy in his life as he was. He was a solo dad of a son who had cerebral palsy. And Lucy had her own bridges to mend with her dad. She found out she was lied to by her parents as she was an adopted child. What will happen when Lucy tries to find her birth mother? Why did her adopted father lie to her in the first place? 

LETTING GO WITH DOCTOR RODRIGUEZ was a fast paced, emotional journey of a story, amid medical drama. Lucy is a strong heroine who is trying to discover who she really is after finding out she is adopted. Marco is a gorgeous, Argentine hero, who plays polo and is a well loved doctor in Outback Australia. Author Fiona Lowe can be relied on to deliver an emotional, compelling and captivating read that keeps a reader engrossed from the first page and LETTING GO WITH DOCTOR RODRIGUEZ is no exception!

Sydney Harbour Hospital: TOM’S REDEMPTION is author Fiona Lowe’s latest offering from Mills and Boon Medical Romance releasing in April 2012.

By a quirk of fate neuro-surgeon Tom Jordan lost his eyesight. Now he is unable to operate and for him it feels like he has lost a limb.  When he was sighted he kept away from relationships and emotional entanglements.

But now he doesn’t want anyone’s pity or sympathy. So he keeps himself aloof to the point of being rude.

Surgical registrar Hayley Grey felt herself drawn towards him. And the attraction simmering just below the surfaces was mutual between them. Will they act on this mutual attraction? Then Hayley comes up with the idea of ‘friends with benefits!’ As she herself is not ready to commit to a relationship at this point because of her upcoming exams.

When she gets to know the man behind the blind surgeon, she falls for him hard. But will Tom return her love?   

Why is Hayley scared of sleeping in the dark? For years Hayley has held herself apart from people but Tom had slipped under her guard and made a home in her heart. Now she has to come clean about her phobia. And why does Tom have this driving need to succeed? Why can’t he depend on Hayley?

You just can’t help but root for Tom and Hayley to get to their happy ending. I didn’t want the story to end just then. But who wants a good romance to end? This story had layer upon layer of emotional and sensual tension.

Author Fiona Lowe mostly writes about small communities or outback hospitals and her stories are based in rural areas so Sydney Harbour Hospital: Tom’s Redemption was a pleasant surprise from her. This story was based at a big bustling city hospital and it was very realistically depicted. I knew when I picked up a Fiona Lowe title that I was going to be reading a spellbinding story which I will devour in one sitting and Sydney Harbour Hospital: Tom’s Redemption was no exception!

Boomerang Bride by Fiona Lowe

BOOMERANG BRIDE is a Carina Press release by author Fiona Lowe.

Matilda Geoffrey arrives at a small US town in a bride's dress carrying a wedding cake. She wanted to surprise her fiancé, whom she met online in a chat room.

Marc Olsen finds her standing in front of an empty shop and decides to help her. Then he finds out she's been scammed by her virtual fiancé.

He takes her in and offers her a job. Is it out of kindness of his heart? Or is it because something stirs in him even though Matilda is not the kind of woman Marc usually dates?

He has left the small town as soon as possible to escape the confines of familial responsibilities. After all, he was thrown into it at an early age by his father's death. He's back from New York just for the holidays but find himself sucked deeper in the responsibilities of a sick sister and her angry teenage son.

I loved the "Aussie" to "American" translations in this book. At times it resonated with me and at other times it was hilarious!

Author Fiona Lowe came up with an emotionally satisfying, sweet and witty story. It has great characters and is full of sizzling sexual tension. Yet the warmth and sensitivity she showed while touching on the subject of breast cancer and a woman's loss of self-confidence in herself after the mastectomy, was heart-touching.

Her hero, Marc, with his "Viking" good looks was delicious. The heroine, Tildy, who at first appeared scatter-brained, turned out to be an intensely emotional, tender with her big heart and quest for a perfect family. Tildy, surprisingly, was with perfect business sense and started her own business. This was inspiring, after she was scammed out of her money. Both the characters are smart and sharp-witted and matched up perfectly in this well written story.

Earlier I was recommended by a friend that, "If you want to read a perfectly crafted book with scene and sequel, goal, motivation, conflict and which flows magically- read any of Fiona Lowe's books!" and I found it to be so true in the case of BOOMERANG BRIDE!

I liked author Fiona Lowe's style. It seemed like she was writing about real people in situations that could happen. Scenarios came alive as do people with her use of dialogue and situation that help us know them better.

Even the secondary characters were all so real and truly the imaginary is so vivid, I don't believe, I've ever read a book that pulled at my heart so immediately and so strongly!

Boomerang Bride is well worth reading and I recommend it for an emotionally satisfying story.
