The amazing come and save me I will protect you at all costs men by Kristy Avalon are back! I have been waiting for this next installment for a long time.

This time we finally get the low down on Cade and what makes this man tick. Anyone that has been following the series will know that Cade's father was killed six years ago, and it has never been solved.

Enter the feisty yet also shy Kylie. A brilliant up and coming paralegal, she is fascinated with cold case's because of her own mother's murder that was never solved. She stumbles upon the case of Cade's father and finds more than what she bargained for.

But when she presents her evidence to Cade he brushes her off, that is until her witness turns up dead, and Cade is hell bent on protecting her at all costs. But even as passion flares between them Cade knows Kylie is holding back and then she walks out the door. How unlucky can one man get?

This book was just as the rest of the series completely and utterly stunning from the first page till the very last word written! I loved the character of Cade from the start, the man is not afraid to show what he feels and let's face it when a all too gorgeous man wants to protect you from harm, which woman is going to argue with that?

I did at one stage feel like I wanted to give him a good old fashioned head-slap, because he feels Kylie holding back but does not try to discover the actual reason, he is more focused on their passion. This showed him as we all mostly react most of the time. We live in the moment when we feel too much, and instead of trying to analyse it we rather take it as the good time we have been longing for. Through this character the author showed that when we get that 'here's a good thing going on " feeling we must not forget to remember there is another person's feelings and action in the deal, don't just focus on yourself and only surface focus on the other person. Tune in on everything around you.

The character of Kylie, broke my heart. It was so sad that she has been dealt such a truly hard blow in life with her family crisis and the media digging in on her and her sister and then just when she thought she was doing a good job she ends up smack bang in the middle of a years old mystery and with her life hanging in the balance. No woman needs all of that! But what intrigued me most about the character was how the author let's her blossom into a stronger and more powerful woman then Kylie starts out to be, sure this happens in most romance reads but what the author did was let the guidance of others make the character stronger rather than the fearful actions she needs to face, which is what normally happens in reads of this kind, very awesome touch Kristi!

I loved the action, the thrill of the chase, the mystery and the passionate romance in this read, I highly recommend this for all Kristy Avalon fans, this time she has outdone herself even more than I thought she could. I honestly did not see her getting even better at her writing yet she has proven me wrong and taken her characters and writing to a whole new level of brilliance!

I truly hope we get the next part of this series very SOON!

We all know that sometimes we have to offer up long hours for our work in order to achieve success. We put in the long hours, we go beyond the extra mile all in the hope that eventually it will pay off.

When it is for our own business we know it will be worth it but when you are simply part of a team and not the boss there is always the doubt that you might be doing it all for nothing, yet we continue to push.

In this new Kristi Avalon read this is the situation that Mindy faces, she is on her way to Russia to try and clinch the deal of a lifetime and knows her boss will have her job on a silver platter if she fails. Along for the ride is her sex on legs co-worker Isaac.

Mindy has always wanted the man wrapped around her but he has never looked at her and she knows he is way out her her league, so she quietly worships him from a far. That is until they reach Russia and she finds herself pressed up against the solid muscle that is Isaac and him whispering the words "I want you".  This is her chance to have the man she wants but does she have it in her to let the deal of a lifetime fail simply to have the man of her dreams in her bed?

The character of Mindy was a bit nutty, with her own ideas of how star-signs effect her every single waking minute and with her mother's little sayings bouncing around in her head every-time something noteworthy happens.  But she was also gutsy and determined to do her job no matter how many obstacles her star signs align in her path. I loved that the author took Mindy from determined worker to true heroine, letting go and experiencing the need to be and feel like a woman when she is given the chance. It showed that sometimes we need to step back and see what has been in front of us instead of only seeing the goals we set for ourselves.

The character of Isaac was really awesome! I loved, loved, loved this hero so much. He was kind, caring, compassionate, sweet, sexy and oh so very male it made heart beat faster and the butterflies in my stomach take flight! It happens every so often that bodyguards do pop up during conversations and from what I have heard most people think they are all muscle and no brains, but through Isaac the author showed that behind the muscle there is a man with feelings, hopes and dreams, they are human and protection is not always all they strive for.

The backdrop settings were exquisitely described by the author, I could touch the art work being described and feel the cold Russian air touching my skin. The dialogue was classic Kristi Avalon, passionate, emotional and heart stoppingly sexy! The author let me experience the fear and passion of both characters through her words and I felt so much apart of the characters lives it left me breathless, simply remarkable work Kristi!

I am taking away a message of when we think we are exactly where we are meant to be doing what we have strived for and all does not go according to plan it is life's way of telling us what we have been missing. We need to simply allow ourselves to stop and feel instead of pushing for a better tomorrow. Seize the moment and in the end you will see you have achieved so much more than what you thought you wanted.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romance with action, blazing passion and a hero that will give his last dying breath to have the woman of his dreams in his arms.

"Professionalism, protection or giving into passion? "

Not having the perfect life or being able to have it all as they say are words we all have to face up to in life. But we can always try to make it better, a new job, a new start, a new friend no matter anything goes. But if the moment comes for that opportunity to come around and suddenly there is a risk it will all crash and burn what would you do?

Stick around and hope for the best of try to clean up the mess and then move on as soon as possible? Or would you listen to your heart and go after what you have always dreamed of even whilst knowing it will never come full circle?

In the new Kristi Avalon read these are exactly the questions Devon has to face and she comes up with no easy answer even whilst in the arms of the most perfect man she has ever imagined.

Devon is right up there with the smartest of tech nerds in the industry and she is proud of it. But her life spirals out of control when all her brilliant systems at work are hacked, destroyed and worst of all the hacker is after her blood!

Devon's first thought is to catch the hacker by playing the game and fighting back with her own brand of technical genius, but the hacker is relentless and soon goes too far, he infiltrates her home and can see and hear her every move.

Immediately her boss sex on legs, big, strong and tough look-into-my-eyes-and -I'll make-you-scream-for-more, Trey steps in, not only to protect the company but to protect the woman that has had his attention from the first day she strutted into the office with her very short skirts and brilliantly sexy mind.

Soon the uncontrollable passion between Devon and Trey burns hotter than hot and they simply cannot get enough of each other. But Trey is the family man type and wants it all, only Devon wants it all too but she simply cannot allow herself to dream it. She needs to stay unattached and get out before her heart has her dreaming of the impossible. But first she needs to get rid of the hacker or lose her life.

The character of Devon was really neat, I adored that she is so smart but in a man's industry as we all know most of the technical experts are usually male and think that woman are not equal, so loved that the author lets Devon be able to fight it out with the best of the best. Her reasoning behind not being able to have the dream of a life with Trey was understandable and I felt myself truly feeling sorry for her.

I adored that the author made Devon strong yet also fragile when it comes to reality stepping in and her realizing that Trey is her ultimate protector, the very thought of it sends her on a roller coaster of emotions, all described in the read,  however not with overbearing detail, rather with just the right balance to keep me entertained, well done Kristi!

The character of Trey was in one word stunning! The guy was perfect, sexy, smart, kind, caring, fierce and protective, not to mention a total expert in the bedroom, yes ladies the man has all the right moves to impress and he uses each and every one of them on Devon, having her come back for more and more.

What was great about him is that he does not dwell on his past, instead he uses every opportunity in life to push forward. Yes, the author did give him one and not a pretty one, but in most reads the past of the hero is taken a bit too far and makes the character a boring one, not the case in this read. Instead the man kept getting more interesting with each one of his actions towards Devon.

The backdrop settings were very glamorous and exciting, keeping in tune with the high tech elements of the read. The dialogue was hot, spicy, sexy, flirty and most of all very romantic, from the passionate words of protection to the words of forever, it all was brought into play by the author perfectly.

The mystery of the hacker was great however I found myself figuring out the mystery with just one line, so it was a bit predictable, but the idea behind it was still a really great one.

I am taking away a message of never think you cannot achieve your dreams, out there is someone of something that will help you bring it to life.

This is book two in the Billionaire Bodyguard Series and very much look forward to book three, Taken&Tempted

I highly recommend this read for all lovers of a good romantic suspense read that involves sexy men willing to put their lives on the line to protect the woman they love, no matter the cost or risk.

Which of us would not want a strong, tough as nails, sexy as sin man to make her feel safe, protected, sexy and loved...answer all of us do!

In this book Allison found just that only when she has him she feels trapped. The reasoning behind this was a truly remarkable and entertaining plot. Her ex husband made her life a living hell, and since the day she walked out the door he has come back for her time and time again, each time with vengeful.

Enter the man that will and can save her absolutely stunning and delicious stepped out of my dreams Logan. Sounds perfect right, well ladies not with the demons poor Alison is fighting. Logan has his work cut out for him. I felt true sorrow for poor Alison and true moments of " I am going to slap Logan if he does not get it now"!

I truly loved this book from the very start the the end it had me entranced  wanting more and needing to get to the next scene! It was powerful and emotional and so very well written.

The main characters were both strong in the sense that they know what they want and know how to fight for it be it love or independence or trust. But with this is also brought on fits of rage as these two go up against each other, one needing to build up a ever lasting protective layer of independence and the other wanting to break that wall down. That was simply so stunning to read as I as reader could with vivid clarity see the author take away layer after layer baring the souls of both characters.

The secondary characters were wonderful, each playing a very unique and supportive role. The back drop setting was exquisite, the descriptions of Logan's home so clear that I could very well of been standing right in front of it.

The author gave me everything I expected from the back blurb, romance, passion, intrigue, action and ending straight out of true life drama.

This was the first time reading this author but believe me it will not be the last!

I highly recommend this read for all!
