The words " Blame it on...."  have always been the response of most people when they realize they should have known better and there in actual fact is no real excuse, so you grasp at whatever you can.

In this read from the very talented Kate Hardy is the champagne getting the blame. At a London salsa club ( sexy as all heck I will add) consultant Aaron Hughes catches sight of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. He doesn't do relationships but one night of fun with a perfect stranger can't hurt, or can it?

Registrar Joni Parker, dancing and sipping champagne is just what the Dr. ordered to remedy her what-would -have-been-wedding -night. Until she finds an even better cure, her very first ever fling! It's excitement overload! But what starts with no strings turns into one big old complication when Aaron walks into the hospital on Monday morning as the new consultant.

This was an incredibly sexy read from start to finish I was hooked over and over by the absolutely brilliant chemistry between Aaron and Joni, talk about setting the pages alight! I adored Aaron to absolute bits, all I wanted to do was grab him and keep him to myself. The author gave him the perfect balance of non - committal but willing to try for the right reasons , I loved every minute!!

And Joni, oh my gosh my heart shattered into a million pieces for this poor heroine, the author put me front and center for every single drop of emotion this heroine experienced, her heartache, the shame, the hope and the very real reality she had to face.

This is one of those reads that if I dare to go on with my review I will without a doubt spoil it, because it's a book that I will ever stop talking about it was that good! So am going to only add that if there is only one medical romance you read this year, make it this one.

Emotionally packed, drama filled, shocking revelation filled and a gorgeous romance that tells of hope and new beginnings.

He doesn’t do relationships. Yet he takes her advice and goes to build bridges with his estranged relatives. Then he decides to surprise Carissa one last time.

A NEW YEAR MARRIAGE PROPOSAL has a gorgeous hero in Quinn, he is tender and sensitive. And Carissa is a strong heroine who hides a mushy heart. Author Kate Hardy did a great job touching on the domestic violence issue in this story. I loved this emotional story, domestic violence always touches a sore spot with me so I did shed some tears. Especially when Quinn wants to do something—anything to avenge Carissa. I wish all the victims of domestic violence in this world get a Quinn in their lives.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

This read from the very talented Kate Hardy was the absolute perfect example of that Christmas magic sneaking it's way into the lives of two stunning characters.

The story tells of reclusive Quinn O'Neil and when his new neighbor Carissa Wylde asks for his help with a Christmas charity project, Now he can't resist her vivacious energy and soon he's caught up in the work and the beautiful, fun loving woman running the show.

But Carissa carries hurt and pain beneath her smiles and bright holiday cheer, can Quinn kiss it better when the twinkling lights start to shine ? Or will he kiss and run? Quinn has the battle of battles on his hand, proving to Carissa he's plans on sticking around forever and not just for the holidays, because his track record has always been kiss and run but this time he's found the one.

I loved, loved LOVED the character of Quinn , he was kind and caring and had the perfect balance of sensitive but tough, just what every woman wants right?!  The stunning totally of the hook awesome character of Carissa really got to me, I felt so deeply heartbroken for her that I wept right along with her when the author starts to reveal the very real heartache she hides behind all her perfectly practiced smiles, of course I could not stop smiling either when those practiced smiles turned into very genuine smiles as Quinn dug his way into her heart.

This is as I said a Christmas read, but can be read at any time of the year because the very real heartfelt emotion and breathtaking romance in this read will immediately sweep you off your feet and Christmas or not you will be whisk right into the magic of Christmas ! THE SOLDIER PRINCE by author Kate Hardy is June 2014 release by Harlequin Mills & Boon Medical Romance series.

Prince Marco, injured on duty lands in hospital under the care of physical therapist Becca Anderson. But he can’t be just the patient as they had already shared a night of passion before. Marco decided to start again what he’d left unfinished before. Could he persuade Bella to be his royal bride?

Then Bella’s past spilled over in the papers and she knew she was not fit to be a royal bride but what would Marco do now?

THE SOLDIER PRINCE is a lovely royal romance between a prince and how an ordinary girl, fought adversity and raised above all the hardships in her life. Author Kate Hardy brought this inspiring and emotionally uplifting story and it’s a treat to read.

Highly recommended to all readers of romance.

Life as a soldier for Marco is as tough as it get's , he has to protect his unit and being a Prince certainly does not make it easy. But with luck the press keeps him and his unit out of the spotlight. Then it all goes wrong when the unit is ambushed and Marco sustains an injury to his hand.

He is flown back to London for treatment, upon arriving he discovers his physical therapist is none other than Becca Anderson, the woman he shared  a magical, forbidden summer with long ago.

Becca is more than shaken by the royal surprise not only does she know Marco as " Seb" but she also never knew him to be a prince! Becca and Marco are clearly meant to be together or fate would not have brought him back to her, but Becca has secrets and they are certainly not the kind the Royal family will want splashed all over the tabloids. And therefore she has to resist his charm no matter what.  But resisting her heroic soldier prince will be much harder than she thinks.

This was a really nice, feel good romance read. I loved Marco, never mind the fact that he is a Prince, it was his entire attitude that had me hanging onto his every word. Charming, sophisticated and a true hero in every sense of the word. I loved his fight till the very end spirit, it made him a serious sexy soldier!

And Becca, ah poor Becca my heart broke for her when the secrets are revealed and the press literally called her every single bad name in the book of disgrace. But even though she felt down, heartbroken and in need of some serious tender loving care, she still held her head high and tried to take it all in the best way she knew how.

The ending of this read is what really got to me, it was one of those " Ah could not be more perfect ending" kinds and I for the third time during this read found myself reaching for the Kleenex.

I am taking away a message of life has a way of knocking us down, us being able to pull ourselves back up and think that it will be the end of it. But of course no past ever goes away until it is well and truly faced up to.

So instead of sitting around waiting for your past to come back and knock you down, face up to it with every ounce of the necessary come backs and then walk away with your head held high, after doing this you will never be worried about the past showing up when you definitely don't need it to.

I recommend this read for all fans of romances that love sexy soldiers, charming princes, feisty secretive heroines and a journey of love shining brighter than the brightest diamond.

I have always been fascinated with the wonder of what goes on in the lives of celebrities when the cameras stop rolling.  It is not hard from the information the medic gives us, to know that these people might be famous, but they hurt, love, get angry and pretty much do everything else we do.

But how does it all really happen, is it per change meetings at glamorous celebrity events? Or is it a little more " down to earth like regular people" ?

In this wonderful read from author Kate Hardy, she took me into the world of film star Luke McKenzie and what really lies behind his star studded smile. It starts with former police officer Jess Greenacre, she needs to bury her past and becoming a runner on a London film set is exactly the change of scenery she needs.

But her little adventure turns out to be filled with more drama when she ends up having to babysit award winning actor Luke McKenzie's adorable dog, so much less fun than keeping a watchful eye on a criminal behind bars, or is it?

An earth shattering kiss from Luke sends Jess into quite the one way direction of road to love and she wants more and so does Luke. But Luke has a past and secrets of his own can the honesty and love of Jess bring him back from the brink of loneliness or will he send her running when he reveals that he is less than star perfect ?

I adored the dog in this read, too cute for words and certainly the one steeling the show from the main characters. The character of Luke was a really great character to read about, I am sure the author did research and talked to actors to get a feel for it all, but even if she made it up using only her imagination it felt truly real for me as reader. I was right there for all the drama of the press that goes along with being an actor, the being here and there at the same time, really amazing insight into the world of an actor.

The character of Jess was really fun! I loved her funky life gives me lemons so I go somewhere else and make lemonade attitude. The entire character felt fun, fresh and not quite like other's I have read before, I really loved it!

I am recommending this really sweet and sensual read for anyone looking for a trip into the world of romance that will leave you with a very content and happy smile !

CROWN PRINCE, PREGNANT BRIDE is a sweet royal romance. I loved the tender feelings portrayed by author Kate Hardy. It is a heartwarming tale of two opposites falling for each other. Kate Hardy’s expert penmanship would keep a reader reverted to the story till the last page.

Some say that love happens with just one look, in the case of Indigo Moran it does not quite work out that way. She takes one look into the eyes of a dark and mysterious stranger, snaps his picture and voila all chaos breaks out. Who does he think he is anyway, a Prince?

Later that night Indigo finds out that yes the mysterious stranger is in fact a Price, Crown Price Lorenzo Torelli of Melvante to be exact.

As Crown Prince, Lorenzo 's duties lies with his country and his people. It's what he was brought up to do, it's a duty he cannot escape but one kiss with Indigo and he knows that one unforgettable night will never be enough to rid his soul of the overwhelming feelings he feels for her.

It's bring her home and make her his wife, simple and easy journey to romance, right? No way this is a Kate Hardy book and she knows how to spice it up, you see Indigo has a secret that's about to turn Lorenzo's perfectly orchestrated life into the musical of the year, complete with loads of drama.

This book was the perfect fairy tale read, it had the chance meeting, the secrets, the passionate affair, the obstacles, the For Crown and Country and is the perfect example of just why I read romance.

Both main characters were fun and witty in their own unique manner, and their connection was so very real it had me in tears, and it again showed just why this author is a master when it comes to creating a romance read so powerful it takes the reader to new heights of happiness. The read was so much more than just two characters meeting and a modern day fairy tale being brought to life.

Extremely emotional, sweet and sensual , sweet and so very charming. I especially loved that the author gave Indigo a low self esteem, I know it sounds bad but let me explain. The entire low self esteem drama showed the character of Indigo as real, we have all either been there of know someone that has had their self esteem blown to bits because of something that happened in the past. Some eventually get over it, sadly there are others that never fully recover, but with the help, understanding and love of others self esteem can be re-built into a person that has confidence to the point where it simply shines from within.

And that is exactly what Lorenzo, (btw Kate I love that name, it is one of the sexiest I have ever come across and definitely royal material) does and that made him even more attractive than any other Prince I have come across in romance reads. I truly enjoyed the character of Lorenzo, kind, caring, masterful, commanding when needed and perfectly balanced.

If you are in need of a blissful afternoon of romance, this is the perfect read, or even if you just dream of meeting a Prince!

I highly recommend this read for all fans of modern day fairy tale romance reads. Sweet, sensual, captivating and simply a true diamond of a read!

The Brooding Doc's Redemption by Kate Hardy

Being blamed for the death of your wife and unborn child is bad! Really bad! But what is even worse is when you blame yourself and it was not your fault at all.

Others can try to convince you all they want, and here and there you might even start to believe them just a little but, but in the end you will constantly place the blame back on yourself.

The trick is of course to find a way to get over it and move on, even if you still blame yourself, moving on and trying to face life everyday is at least a start.

For Dr Marc Bailey this moving on comes in the form of a new job, but this turns out to not be so easy. With the new job comes Laurie Grant and her daughter Izzy.

Laurie and Izzy are reminders of what he lost and what he would have had, he knows he needs to walk away but he can't shake the feeling that just maybe he deserves a second chance in the arms of Laurie and the inescapable smile of Izzy.

This was a truly stunning, heartfelt read from author Kate Hardy. She blew me away with the intensity of heartache in this read.

I cried so many times that others around me thought I was experiencing true life heartache, and I was ! Yes I was, the characters were so real and so touching it left me totally gutted.

I adored Izzy, she was the cutest and most adorable little character that I have come across for some time. I found the manner in which the author let the relationships between Laurie and Marc and Marc and Izzy build totally stunning.

It was not a oh here it comes before the read is even properly developed it was gradual and had the perfect smooth sailing with some rock bashing here and there mood.

I'm taking away a message of no matter how many times we hear that everyone deserves a second change, we need to actually learn to believe it before it comes our way and with no believe it will pass us by and never back a return.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of medical romance reads!
