Abby Green has done it again, and with a major bang! Her latest read tells the story of Giancarlo Delucca , he has one aim in life and one only , to go global! Even if it means marring the O'Connor heiress to secure the contract that will change his life forever.

Keeling O'Connor wants a place on the board and no part in the business arrangements, ti's all power-play and no hard work. Gianni may have vowed to seduce his wayward bride but Keelin is not a laid back kind of gal, she fights him all the way to the altar.

Happily ever after was never part of this deal, but Gianni finds himself intrigued by Keelin and suddenly he's after a whole new goal, he's determined to turn this beautiful Irish redhead's I don't into I do.

This was such a fun read, I laughed over and over at Keelin's attempts to get Gianni to back down from the deal, it was a really nice different play on the usual very emotional stories I have come to love from this author.

But don't get me wrong, the read still had all that intense emotional buildup and heartbreaking romance needed to make it one of the best HP reads ever.

I adored the characters, both were very well crafted and from page one seemed to jump out at me. As I said I loved Keelin's foil this little marriage deal attempts and I could not get enough of it, nor could I wait for Gianni to be knocked down from his power throne.

I am taking away a message of life is all about give and take, but if you take it all and never give a little , you will end up losing all that you have gained.

I recommend this read for all fans of Abby Green's books, a passionate, realistic, compelling , take me away on an escape of romance and never let me return read.

The Chatsfield Book Six: Rival's Challenge by Abby Green

Reviewed by Desere

Orla Kennedy is in control and always ensures everything goes her way, and most importantly she never takes risks. It's just not her style.

But on the eve of a business deal she's tired, stressed out and in desperate need of blowing off some steam, this leads her to sharing a drink with an attractive stranger and also a night of unbridled passion. It's the best night of her life and she'll never forget it.

But work looms on the horizon and she places the super hot memories in the back of her mind. Easy as relive, day dream a little and then get all hot and dirty minded and then back to work, yeah right ! This is a Abby Green book so we know that will never happen.

And it doesn't, soon she discovers her one night stand is her rival, the fearless Antonio Chatsfield. He has pretty much everything he wants  and is known as a war hero, so fame, fortune the whole set up is there, but his life feels as empty as his recently vacated bed.

Yet he still drags himself over to The Chatsfield, London to aid his sister. But when he comes face to face with the woman who came apart in his arms just hours before he starts forming a new merger of a entirely different kind.

This was a brilliant book in true Abby Green fashion, from the very start till the very end! The author weaved a tale of secrets, passion and rivalry with exquisite detail and with her unique slightly dark almost mysterious bordering on sweet writing style she created characters I will never forget.

The character of Orla was wonderful, I loved her spirit and fun I handle it all attitude, it did show her as a little too much self involved, but only slightly for as we all know we always think at some stage in life we can handle everything and anything that comes our way, without so much as a drop of help from anyone, so the character did still have that realistic feel I adore so much in romance reads.

The character of Antonio, was super hotness combined with just a smidgen of darkness that every now and then breaks through the barrier of being fair, kind and sweet but not too sweet that he doesn't go all out in getting who and what he wants.

Through both characters the author showed that in life there is the past and there is the present. What we think of the past is what will hold us back, what we do with the present is what will ultimately set us free from the past. Of course that's is a message us readers have seen in many other books, yet this author brought it home in a different manner , slightly familiar but with a new kind of flare, that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I highly recommend this read for all who love a good can do anything my way war hero meets head strong heroine and is brought to his knees story.

The Chatsfield ~~ Short Read : The Soldier in Room 286 by Abby Green

The Soldier in Room 286

Reviewed by Desere

Abby Green reads have always been about deep emotion, characters that surprise you when you least expect it and blazing hot heat.

In the her latest read and short read addition to the new Mills and Boon The Chatsfield series, she has once again delivered her unique blend of emotion that makes me cry my eyes out, given me characters that blew me away and a passion so hot the pages practically went up in flames.

The read tells of Natalja, once a war time photographer turned model photographer, she lives a pretty normal everyday life. She shoots pictures of beautiful sensual woman, and well that 's pretty much it. She 's not involved with anyone and the closest relationship she has is with her camera.

But her world is turned up side down when Salim knocks her for a six and promises more than just a night of hot sex or at least that is Natalja's gut feeling. Everyone woman is allowed one wild night , and when morning comes she'll be able to shake the stay with me forever feelings and get on with her life, it's as easy as moving on, she's done it before and she'll do it again.

I very much enjoyed this read, through the characters of Natalja and Salim the author showed that when there is a deep connection with a total stranger there is really no getting away from it.

You can try to run from the feeling, hide it in the back of your mind but it will always still be there. Salim was cold, dark, mysterious and just down right sexy! I loved how the author hinted at him being in hiding, yet he is a famous model and actor, it was a very interesting contradiction which quickly became addictive and I had to dig to find out more.

The character of Natalja was really neat, she is pretty much just like most woman today. Dependent, doing her thing and acting on the odd impulse every now and then, which in the case of this read let's her end up with some pretty spectacular consequences.

I enjoyed reading the story of them meeting, acting on the deep connection and letting the night play out, it was sensual, passionate and had loads of very raw emotion.

I am taking away a message of life will sometimes put you in to the path of something or someone you think might not be destined for you, yet when you have it you will know there is no way you can let it simply go without giving it a shot.

I recommend this read for all Abby Green fans, as always she gave the read her usual dramatic flair and added hot and spicy romance blend.

When Falcone's World Stops Turning by Abby Green

When Falcone's World Stops Turning

Reviewed by Desere

The expression "My world just ended" is one I have heard many, many times before, but never really personally fully experienced.

So when I get to see if from another's point of view it is always interesting to find out just why they seem to think their world has just ended.

In the new trilogy from Abby Green she tells of the lives of three brothers and the woman that will bring them to their knees and make their worlds indeed seem like it just ended.

In the first installment we meet the first brother,  Rafaele Falcone and the one woman that he has had an addiction to from day one, but not wanting to be controlled by a woman as his farther was he finds the courage to walk away from their relationship.

But four years later he is back and wants her more than ever until he discovers her treacherous secret, and he has no control over anything anymore, except when it comes to the bedroom when Samantha is in his arms, or does he?

The character of Rafaele was one of those dark and mysterious hero's that makes you from page one get up and take immediate attention. Arrogant and a real bastard till the very last minute, which of course for me as reader is something I completely adore! It keeps me on the edge of my seat, digging for more and waiting in bated breath for the awesome moment he comes to his senses !

The character of Samantha was a really gutsy heroine, understandably she does make a choice she at the time feels valid but the author through this character made it clear that even if you feel there is no other choice there always is, and sometimes it is necessary to be controlled.

The secondary characters, and yes that includes a tiny little glimpse into the lives of brothers two and three, were extremely interesting. The author crafted a world of secrets, mystery and anger around each and every one, letting me as reader know that each one is hiding so much more hurt then they let on and in the next installments I am guaranteed to discover it to be even more fabulous!

The backdrop settings were simply beautiful and so romantic. The sexual tension in this read was so super, super hot and I very quickly became very addicted to seeing how this will play out, it really was as if I was just as addicted to the characters and their lives as they were to each other.

The dialogue was so very classic Abby Green, wild and crazy sexual heat and pent up frustrations leading to exciting moments of conflict and drama. I was able to take away the message that when young and
un-knowledgeable we are not able to take into full account what we see and this leads us to make assumptions and guide our own lives in the wrong directions.

I highly recommend this read for anyone looking for a deep, dark to die for hero coming face to face with reality, and the start of a trilogy that if the first book is anything to go by, will no doubt be utterly fabulous!

A sexy beyond imagination, unbelievably hot and super gorgeous read! Bring on the rest Abby I need more secrets to be revealed!

Overview by Desere

Babies, babies and more babies! The series is all about how the royal's from around the world find themselves suddenly thrown together by the power of a new life.

From the the very far corners of the world six talented authors bring us the short stories of six couples who all have each have one incredible night that leads to a lifetime of happiness, but only after all obstacles have been cleared, and there are many, tradition, laws, arranged marriages, no talk of love, past hurt and anger it's all there!

In Sheikh's Baby Bombshell by Melanie Milburne we meet Abby, out on the prowl for one night of incredible hot sex with a stranger to ward of old memories and pain, what she finds is Talib. He turns her life upside down in and out of bed. But Abby is not up for settling for marriage without love.

In His Pregnant Mistress by Maisey Yates we see how Princess Alys who one night gathers all her courage and goes after the man she loves, only her bodyguard Liam is not interested in her heart he is only there for her body, and this princess will have to offer up everything to prove a point.

In Scorsolini Baby Scandal by Lucy Monroe Kiki and Mich each hide their royal titles in order to be loved for who they really are, but when the truth is revealed it might destroy or cement their relationship , only their love for each other will show the way forward.

In The Queen's Nine Month Scandal by Abby Green the pure pressure of being ruler of a country since the age of nine and always being guarded and never truly alone leads Queen Analia to run for one night straight into the arms of Daniel. The no names mask remains on game of incredible sex turns to a very real problem instead of a memory when the Daniel opens the newspaper to find a headline : Virgin Queen Pregnant.

In The Accidental Heir by Susan Stephens we meet Princess Astrid, she went from barely getting by every month to luxuary beyond her wildest dreams. But with her new found magical life comes responsibility to bare a heir, the royal council does not care how or with who , she just needs to get it over with. So when Prince Karl comes along she can hardly resist but will he think she trapped him just because she had no choice or does the Princess truly care?

In His Royal Love Child by Lynn Raye Harris tells the story of young lovers being reunited. But Charlotte is not her mother and being mistress to Prince Luca, she simply will not share the man she loves with another woman, only when she is carrying a part of Luca how can she not take him anyway she can have him. Love is  the strongest emotion.

The books can be read as stand alone's in any order and do not link into each other. In some of the reads I found the author used secondary characters from previous books. Each book contains between five to nine chapters, very short chapters and therefore does not take longer than twenty to thirty minutes to read.

Very entertaining, passionate, sensual and sexy reads, each one great for a afternoon pick me up read!

Being Queen I am sure must be one of the worst responsibilities to have, you have an entire country depending you. Yes it must be the same for a King but when you are female and something goes wrong chances are a remark such as "If she were a man, none of this would have happened" are bound to pop up, and I think it will take a exceptionally strong woman to handle it, without tumbling to the ground.

In the new read from Abby Green she delves in the world of Queen Analia . She has been the country's ruler since the age of nine. She has always stuck the rules, putting her people and their needs first, never taking any time for herself. And because she has always been guarded with a bodyguard not less than five feet from her, she has also never had the chance to find passion in the arms of a man.

Soon she will marry her selected Prince, the mere thought of him kissing her turns her stomach inside out. But she has no choice, it is for her people. Suddenly she realises how trapped she feels and sneaks out to a masked ball. No one will recognise her with her mask and she wants just one night of freedom. Her freedom comes in the form of in-my-arm-you-will-find-heaven Daniel.

They share a few hours of incredible passion together, however they go by the names of Sasha and Alexandra and the Queen keeps her mask in place. Making love with a stranger seems easier for Queen Analia , she can simply walk away from any feelings this man is able to create, and before the night is through she is gone and Daniel wakes up to a empty bed feeling none of the peace he did when she was in his arms. He has to find her, but how do you find a nameless, masked dream lover? The answer hits him as a international newspaper headline, Virgin Queen pregnant!".

The character of Queen Analia was very well written and I felt true compassion and sadness for her. Having to rule a country your entire life, being watched, and all your personal decisions made for you by a royal board of advisers, not to mention having to ensure that your country is always placed first ahead of yourself. I would not be able to do this, as I am sure most woman would not even want to try, and I truly felt like erupting into tears are her loneliness!

Analia was not as fearless as I would have expected a Queen to be, but the author showed this is due to her always being watched and her every move controlled , I understood why she feels she needs to remain perfect. I loved that she finds the courage to step away from her nickname even if just for one night and never to be revealed to the world.

The character of Daniel was a total swoon worthy hero. He is hot and powerful, arrogant and a force to be reckoned with , yet he also has his heart firmly guarded against pain. He does not trust anyone and never will. I loved that the author made him a badboy with a past of hurt, and that she lets his restlessness shine through the way he lives. Reckless and seeking, until he finds the peace he has been craving. I adored that the author lets him take what he wants and go where he wants , it made him almost more of action hero and he brought to the read that certain edginess needed to hotten up the lonely guarded Queen.

The backdrop settings was hot and passionate, from the hotel room where the real world fades away and the characters are simply two strangers finding pleasure and a connection stronger than life it self in each others arms right up to the moment of truth with the entire world watching. The dialogue was mysterious, sexy and emotional, the author made sure to include as many various lines as possible in a five chapter read.

I received the message of when you seek peace and cannot find it , don't stop keep going you never know, your peace might just come walking through the door and straight into your arms. Believe in love it will teach you how to trust again and most importantly never let the world forget you are still human even if you are the Queen, you do need some time to simply be you.

I highly recommend this read for all Abby Green fans and for those who love a good royal scandal. A very sexy twenty minute read guaranteed to leave you wanting to very much be Queen just to be in the arms of this badboy.

Forgiven But Not Forgotten? by Abby Green

Blood is thicker than water, and revenge is sweet. Bring the two together and what do you get, two people both willing to give what ever it takes to reach their ultimate goal.

In the latest read from Abby Green I was introduced to a world of past mistakes and hidden secrets overshadowing the future.

The read is about Siena she has want for nothing, her father's wealth ensures she has it all, or so it seems to the outside world.

One night for one heart-stopping passionate moment she lets down her icy rich lifestyle guard and looses control with I-want-you-in-my-bed-simply-because-I-know-I-can-have-you-under-me-in-seconds Andreas. Her actions however sets of a series of events that years later come back to haunt her.

Yes ladies you guessed it, Andreas makes his return and he is out for revenge, he wants her just as badly as he wanted her years before and this time he will have her, and when he is done he will discard her with just as much icy cool as she had him, the shoe is after all on the other foot this time around.

The character of Siena was one I fell in love with from the very start of this read. She is compassionate, strong and a fighter. But most of all I loved the true sisterly love she shows for her sister, right throughout the entire read the author showed just want sisterly love can and will endure. The fact that she cannot forget what she has done also showed that she has true heart, and courage when she reaches the point of no where to turn, as reader I completely adored her.

The character of Andreas was one that in the start I felt sympathy for but not so much as what I felt for Siena, he made a mistake but one that he gets back up from, but instead of moving on he clings to revenge and bargains that it will set his restless soul free. As we all know revenge is never good and in his case it did give him the boost to the top he needed but, it also made him a cold hearted hero, that I honestly was not liking too much, but once the author peeled back the layers to this man I very quickly fell for him and I fell hard!

The backdrop settings were exquisitely described by the author each setting matched the emotions of the character with perfect precision from hot and steamy passionate encounters to dark, gloomy life changing confessions, and in the end it was all brought together in one of the most romantic settings in the world, that left me with that perfect feeling of pure romance I have come to always expect from this author.

As reader I was given terrific moments of conflict, secrets of the unspeakable kind being revealed  and moments of pure frustration but also of pure joy as the author truly let the power of love and family ties shatter the emotional hell of revenge.

The author also incorporated lines and scenes from two very popular romance movies, and no I am not telling you will have to read the book to find out which two, all I am saying is very nicely done Abby you had me at opera!

From this read I am not only taking away the message of you need to let go of the past and focus on the future for somewhere amongst all the heartache lies a love so pure and so strong it can never be broken, but also a message of never judge someone purely from what you can see on the outside, the image given is sometimes the only way for that person to survive their surroundings.

I highly recommend this read for all romance fans of romance reads with a emotionally thrilling sexiness that will leave you breathless!

The Correttis by Various Authors ~ Overview of Series

                                           Sins, revenge, secrets and scandals!

The Correttis Series is about a family with more deep dark secrets than any family you may ever have heard about before! Scandal, betrayal, love, secrets, illicit affairs, sins of the inhumane kind, unwanted wives and husbands, babies bringing happiness, hearts being broken, business being mixed with pleasure the list goes on and on.

Truly in this series you will find it all and so much more than you think, even men being so bad it will shatter your notions of love and happiness, but the authors of this series also show that there is more than what meets the eye and running from love is never an option. Each and every read will leave the readers with a powerful message each message unique and life altering.

In the first book  A Legacy of Secrets by Carol Marinelli we are shown the story of Santo and Ella and how trust is one of the most vital parts in a relationship, just as vital as knowing when you fall for your man him being the boss is never as bad as it seems.

In the second book An Invitation to Sin by Sarah Morgan we are told the story of Luca and Taylor, and that when the world turns their back on you, there is always someone out there that will love you for better or worse.

In the third book A Shadow of Guilt by Abby Green I got to meet Gio and Valentina, I was shown that sometimes we blame the wrong person for tragedy instead of looking deep into our own hearts to see the truth.

The fourth book An Inheritance of Shame by Kate Hewitt, the story of Angelo and Lucia showed that love is stronger than revenge and the right person can crack through the layers of hurt and anger.

In book five A Whisper of Disgrace by Sharon Kendrick the story of Rosa and Kalul shows that controlling those around you simply because you crave it, is never a justifiable act.

In book six A Façade to Shatter by Lynn Raye Harris the story of Zach and Lia showed me that true beauty when seen through the eyes of others is all that counts and that after tragedy you being alive is always for a reason.

In book seven A Scandal in the Headlines by Caitlin Crews the story of Allessandro and Elena shows that carrying the weight of your family and the well being of others on your shoulders can be your fall from grace, but letting go can be your rise to greatness.

Book eight A Hunger for the Forbidden by Maisey Yates told me the story of Matteo and Alessia and proved that there is good in even the worst of people in the world.

I highly recommend this series to all lovers of heart stopping, sensual, sexy, racing hot, passionate, fire meets ice, good vs evil, mind blowing reads.

This is one purchase you will not regret, and the secrets revealed in each fantastic read will blow you away and shatter your defences, showing that the love of a good man or woman can change your life and family is the one thing we can never turn our back on, as together we can change the world for the better, but divided we will surely fall.

A Shadow of Guilt by Abby Green (The Correttis Book 3)

Reviewed by Desere

Someone's death is never really our fault but yet sometimes you do blame yourself or another, even though deep down inside you know it not to be true. The real regret comes when having to learn to live with you actions or accusations.

The new Abby Green read shows how two people learn to live with their actions of guilt, despair, anger, hurt  and ultimately regret and love found. The read is about Valentina years ago her brothers best friend Gio's actions caused her brother Mario's death and she vowed never to forgive him or to ever let herself love someone that can be ripped away from her in a heartbeat.

However the time comes for her to swallow her pride and ask the wrap-your-legs-around-me-and-I'll-help-you-to-fly Gio for help when she realises she has no one else to turn to.

Gio immediately jumps at the opportunity after all she might hate him for her brothers death but at least he can help in any way he can think of, as for seeing the only woman that has always been the one fuel to his soul but also off limits, in pain and distress is something he cannot stand by and watch.

But very soon a series of revealing secrets open up old wounds from the past and the author shows just how much the past being revealed can possibly destroy a perfect future.

The characters of Gio and Val were both written perfectly and so well it was as if they were going to leap from the pages any minute, I could feel and touch their every emotion, feel their pain and suffer along with their heart ache.

I loved that the characters were both so very different from what the author has given me as reader before Val had a lot and I really mean a lot of pent up anger only she was directing the anger at Gio instead of herself, the author revealing the final mystery as to why completely took me aback and I was in total amazement, I truly did not see the truth coming. Normally we find a heroine that is in touch with her own feelings and accepting them instead of burring them until the point where it comes into perspective for her.

Gio, ah poor, tortured, lost and found Gio was absolutely the perfect hero, but again different from what I have read before, it is not often I find a hero attempting to rid the world of his presence at any and every given opportunity. No usually they want to make themselves known especially to the woman who they simply must have.

The backdrop setting was exquisitely depicted by the author, she let the isolation of of Gio's soul blend in perfectly with the area of Syracuse and his Castello. But the author also gave me as reader the painful moments of heart ache as she took us back in time to a fateful day and also the excitement from the action at the racetrack.

The dialogue was spectacular, the author used her words to really get deep to the heart of the matter at hand and let each and every word draw me deeper and deeper into wanting to learn the truth and get to what lies beneath.

This author's books have always been a favourite of mine but this time she has more than outdone herself, it was if she loaded this book of hers with so much more emotion, passion and a deeper meaning of life into it all, that I found myself not only crying but truly wishing I could step inside the world of Gio and Val and help them reach their happy ending.

And if you know Abby's books you will also know that she laces her sex scenes with blazing red hot passion, and this time around it was no different but even better, the absolutely incredible care taken during Gio and Val's first sexual encounter is guaranteed to bring any woman to her knees and instantly forgive this hero anything, yes ladies the man is that amazing and considerate unlike some hero's from these books that sometimes have no finesse and tend to just go through motions to get to the end and the ultimate satisfaction.

There is also no way I will ever be able to really look at a bike and not think of this book, Abby that bike ride was a gorgeous touch! This is without a doubt the best book ever written by this author.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of Abby Green but also if you have never tried a romance book this is the one that will change your outlook and you will never be able to turn back, you will be as myself begging for the next one to be penned by a truly remarkable, phenomenal author guaranteed to bring you a best seller each and every time.

I have been a fan of Abby Green’s for a number of years and she does not disappoint with her latest release. In A Shadow of Guilt, Giacomo Corretti “Gio” lost his best friend Mario Ferranti seven years ago in a tragic accident when Mario decided to ride Black Star, an out of control horse belonging to Gio

Valentina Ferranti had a crush on Gio from a very young age. And that crush turned to love at the age of seventeen. But after her brother’s accident she blamed Gio and her love soon turned to hate. As you read deeper into this gripping novel you soon learn why Valentina feels guilty over the death of her brother, but I do not want to spoil it for readers.

Even though Gio did not force Mario to ride Black Star, Giacomo Corretti has felt the guilt of his best friend’s death. My heart just went out for this character. Not feeling like you are worthy enough for love. Imagine losing your best friend but also losing touch with Mario’s parents who you had grown to love also.

After seven years these two come face to face at what is supposed to be the wedding of the century. Valentina turns to Gio after his Aunt Carmela slanders her name and her business suffers. Gio soon hires Valentina to cater the Corretti Cup Race, but he also saves her father after he suffers a heart attack.

This story has a little bit of everything including forgiveness, understanding, passion and love. I really loved the first time that Gio and Valentina made love. It was very special.

Abby Green's A Shadow of Guilt is the third installment from the fantastically crafted Corretti mini-series

We meet Gio, the youngest of the Corretti’s.  Horses were always the center of his world.  Gio is haunted by his past.  Many years ago his best friend Mario, who had everything to live for, died riding one of his horses.  The fault is being laid at his feet by Mario's family, by himself and by Mario's little sister Valentina.  Horses eventually become Gio's life and he's now the owner of the racecourse that holds the famous annual Corretti Cup.

Horses have eventually become Gio's life many years after his best friend died as a result of a horse riding accident and a fault that is being laid at his feet by himself and by his best friends little sister Valentina.

7 years later they cross paths again.  Both are completely shocked at seeing each other. Valentina still vehemently blames Gio for her brothers death.  The pain still feels so real it was as if it all happened yesterday.  She’s watched Gio grow from strength to strength while her life has slowly fallen apart. Valentina ends up blackening her name with Gio's aunt who refuses to pay her for the catering at Alessandro's failed wedding.  Valentina swallows her pride and begs Gio for a job.  Gio instantly gives her the job of catering for the Corretti Cup.  Being in such close circles opens up a whole world of trouble, a whole world of feelings and emotions and a whole world of pain.  All the ingredients that gives me another amazing story from the incredibly talented Abby Green.

I absolutely loved A Shadow of Guilt. I couldn't put it down.  It was another Abby Green winner.  She is so talented at crafting stories full of emotion with just the right mix of everything!  I was completely caught up in Gio's emotional story, I felt Valentina's pain of having no choice in being so close to Gio and the tears welled when Gio and Valentina finally faced the past.  I enjoyed the emotional dance of Gio and Valentina and as each revelation about the past is revealed another small barrier is broken and when Gio and Valentina finally decide to make a story of their own their two worlds combust.  Gio's point of views aided the story and helped shape who he was.  The dialogue was brilliant with not a wasted word and I loved the imperfections Gio had.  The imperfections along with the loss of his best friend helped show why he lived in almost isolation.  Valentina was a brave soul who is also haunted by her brother death and reemerging in Gio's world has thrown her sideways, there's more about the past that she needs to face than meets the eye.

Delights include the appearance of Sheikh Nadim and his lovely wife Iseult from Breaking the Sheikh's Rules, the appearance of Angelo Corretti from book 4 when he's at the race track betting against Gio's horse and Carmela Corretti getting her just deserts.

The Corretti series does not have to be read together but I highly recommend it.  Abby Green is exceptionally talented at writing heart-breakingly emotional stories and A Shadow of Guilt is no exception.

Abby Green has always and I mean always simply amazed me with her fabulous books,so I always know I am in for a good read, but this time she surpassed it all !

I was hooked from the opening page and could not stop reading (seriously ladies I cancelled all my plans and  appointments for the day when I got to chapter 3)as I knew there was no way I could stop reading this absolutely stunning book ,I had to keep going !

The book had that wonderful Abby Green charm with strong and vivid characters,a delicious backdrop setting and just from the cover alone you will agree with me that it just oozes perfection!

The blazing hot passion (I can tell you that the author seriously upped her sex scenes this time around) and fabulous emotions between the characters left me simply amazed at how much emotion the author packed into this one.

The dialogue was spicy and simply delicious !

And in the end there was such a unexpected twist of events that it just blew me away. The author also gave a new meaning to the word revenge ... it does not always go according to plan and it holds so many possibilities especially those that you do not see coming, and that a author like Abby Green can make it all seem very, very real!

Brilliant Abby ,keep them coming your fans need more  !

6 Stars!

Amazing plot! Original Plot.... I hadnt even finished and I want to write a review.  6 Stars!  Jesse is the bravest little thing I've ever come across.  I couldnt wait to see how everything pans out and I LOVE the pinterest board for this story xx

Update:

Definite must-have story! It's really funny because it's like with every Abby Green new-release I think to myself that's my favoritest ever! Exquisite Revenge tops the charts! I'm not sure anything will remove it :D

Original! Dramatic! Heatbreaking! Heartwrenching! Breathtaking! Enchanting! Passionate! And yes, Exquisite!

I have been looking forward to Exquisite Revenge for a long time because I was really moved by a picture on Abby Green's Pinterest board for Exquisite Revenge.  It's of Luc holding Jesse in the shower. It was really emotive to me and I found the scene in the book was just as emotive.

Jesse kidnaps Luc for reasons he completely misunderstands because Jesse lets him misunderstand her reasons and from there I was thrown onto a roller-coaster of a ride that I didnt want to hop off.

Do not read this book if you're going to be uninterrupted, you'll crave to finish it.

I loved the ending, what a fantastic little twist.

The Pinterest board is a fantastic pictorial of the story.  If you weren't aware of them I urge you to pay a visit now... it will help tie you over until Abby Green's next release :)

One Night with the Enemy by Abby Green

One Night With The Enemy - UKAbby Green is one of those authors that can captivate a reader from the very first sentence. She has a knack for transporting you to a world of glitz, glamour and passionate love affairs, taking you a reading ride one will never forget.

In One Night with the Enemy she as certainly done it once again. The story tells about Maddie and Nic,two souls bound by the world of wine making, family fueds and old love.

Maddie and Nic had one of those magical stolen affairs we often hear about but then she discovers a secret about Nic and takes off ! Then eight years later she returns and Nic decides to set his plan for "revenge" into motion.

Set in stunning Argentina the author takes these two characters and combines the world of wine making and their families legacies into one of the best books of the year!

I loved the fire and passion between Nic and Maddie to the point of distraction and for me I did not want the book to end. The gorgeous descriptive writing by the author has the unique effect of not only allowing one to picture every person and location perfectly in one's mind eye but to have you actually wishing you were there so that you could grab hold of the characters and give them a good slap for the mistakes they make, but also have you crying tears of joy when it works out.

Nic was a strong, powerful forceful character to recon with and Maddie was the stunning beauty from his past that had to be dealt with at all cost. I held fast to every single word and could not wait to see how the author would bring the "semi sweet" Maddie and "robust" Nic together in true Abby Green fashion.

Well done Abby !
